  1. I feel like this speculation takes a lot from Shadow of War.

...Eh, I like the Shadow of Mordor series, so that is fine.

Personally, I hope we get to see some Kiva Locke’s trying to avenge their fallen kin/coworkers/broodmates/shards (really hoping infested and Sentients get in on the Kingpin system).

  2. I will probably sound like an idiot asking this, but is the ash prime drop only for people with a linked twitch PRIME account, or anyone with a linked twitch account? And do people with the TennCpn digital pass count as attendees?

    edit: Tenno’d.

  3. Additional info: Ancient Gear will now be retitled to Primordial gear, as in, Primordial Excalibur, Primordial Braton, Primordial Lato and Primordial Skana.

As for why this stuff exists: basically, these are the first attempts at making prime items. This makes them very different from other items in both appearance and functionality. For starters, these things look as if someone combined prime materials and infested parts together: they appear both organic and mechanical, and are darker compared to other prime equipment. Additionally, they also appear unstable. For example, most people know that Excalibur has an idle animation where he makes a pose and emits energy from within himself. When Primordial Excalibur does this, his armor will shake and glow in crack like patterns, as if it is going to explode at any moment.

  4. ^also, the reason I put in the Excal prime stuff was because I needed a placeholder for later. Honestly, as much as I want them, I'd rather have the Corvus vandal more.

Also, this event incurs a penalty for uncompleted segments. Specifically, if you start a mission set but do not complete any missions (you abort the missions or fail them), you incur the set debuff. The effect varies, cryotic front's, for example lowers the maxiumum shiled of any warframe you have. These can be cured by completing the event or via a cure provided after the evetn is over.

The kicker: At the end of the event, any debuffs you have trigger a negation effect, meant to represent Vay Hek's attempt to write you out of history. If D.E. allows this, this manifests as LOSING A MASTERY RANK FOR EVERY DEBUFF YOU HAVE. It's meant to be an incentive to get people to actually do the event and try and complete it. Also, if you never do the event, you won't get the rewards, but the debuffs will not take affect.

The debuffing is why I wanted the founders stuff in hear: you have to give your all to get them, or you will come home in tears and without several mastery ranks. Also, getting the Founder stuff would require some convoluted and ultra-hard raid style mission to actually get them, which is only unlocked if you complete the event. Cause I want the founder stuff, but I don't mind it being So-hard-you-break-your-computer-in-anger-hard if it gives us that stuff.

    Add more reviews.

  5. Note: you will need to read my earlier post on a new quest called "Relic of Eternity" for the lore behind this event to make sense.

Intro: You receive an inbox message from the lotus. It shows you a video of Councilor Vay Hek gloating over completing some secret project of his and telling the tenno he will be helpless to stop them now that he has "bent time to his will". Following this, you receive a notice from Chronos, which informs you that Vay Hek has managed to reverse engineer the eternity engine from the blueprints he acquired in the Quest "Relic of Eternity". Now, Vay Hek has control over time and is planning to erase the tenno from history.

The Event: Vay Hek's attempt to erase the Tenno involves going back in time and defeating them at various important points in history. To simplify this: VAY HEK GOES BACK IN TIME A TRIES TO BEAT THE TENNO AT EVERY EVENT SINCE OPERATION SLINGSTONE. The Tenno have to stop him by destroying his forces for each event. All of these events happen simultaneously and can be completed at one's leisure (the event is 3-4 weeks long). Players will get to do over sling stone, breeding grounds, and eyes of blight to name but a few of the events. Rewards are based on wins per event set and max out at 5, with a special reward for getting all events maxed out.

Note: The event forces Hek sends to stop the Tenno are related to the event itself, and will involve unique goals; for example, Eyes of Blight's event force will protect a fomorian.

Rewards: Completing 1 mission for any particular event sub-set nets the badge that event rewarded, 2 missions completed earns you the mod set, and 5 nets you the event weapon. Operation Mutalist Incurssions will have its mission's tracked separately. Completing one mission for every event set earns you the Uncertain future badge, completing two event sets unlocks this event's mod set, completing half of the event sets nets you a vandal version of Chronos' primary weapon (you need to check my page on the "Relic of Eternity" quest to see what his weapons are) and completing all but one of the event sets nets you primed versions of Chronos and his gear before they are released in the void.

    Edit:

Special reward: Completing the entire set awards the eternal skin for all warframes, not sure what it will look like. Additionally, Completing the entire set also rewards the Ancient Excalibur, which is basically the prime version of Excalibur prime. I threw this in because many people constantly complain about how they wanted Excal prime, so I decided "hey, what if there was a prototype to prime warframes? As in, they initial prototype that was made first?" I mean, while the prime warframes are treated as protoypes, it is made obvious that the only reason we can't reproduce them is we lack the materials and skill. Ancient Excalibur is meant as a super prototype to the prime warframes, e.g. it has noticeable boosts in all areas, and can be leveled up 60 TIMES. The catch is, it can't be replicated, because it is exceedingly unsafe to do so.

This page will be updated as you ask questions, so ask them. Flamealisk out.

  6. Here is some more details regarding the quest

At some point, the Eternity Engine will be mentioned before you actually find it. It is a giant machine that can warp time and space and, rather obviously, is how the original Chronos was made. The machine acts as Chronos' tomb/base: he can't leave it until you release him, but he can monitor the outside world through it.

Oh, and here is Chronos' forst weapon: The Unmaker

Codex: Using ancient and unfathomable powers, this weapon erases enemies from the fabric of existence.

The gun will be some sort of laser cannon that deals either magnetic or radiation damage (or both), but consumes ammo very fast. It has a huge magazine, though.

  7. New Quest, New Rewards, Etc.

Don't read if you haven't completed "Stolen Dreams"

    Quest: Relic of Eternity

Lotus:"Tenno, I have made a great discovery regarding the Arcane Codices . It appears that they are transmitting a signal. More importantly, SOMEONE is responding to that signal. I am working on discovering their location, unfortunately, it appears I am being blocked by something. Sending you the coordinates of the interference now.

Ordis: "Hmm, I wonder who is responding to that white noise."

Players will be sent to a Corpus sabotage mission, where the Lotus will note that it appears that the interference is being caused by the Corpus ship. As the player progresses through the mission, the Lotus notes, rather obviously, that it appears that the Corpus know that someone is responding to the Arcane Codices, which could complicate future matters.

    After Mission

Inbox: "Tenno, I have managed to pinpoint the source of the transmissions. It appears to be coming from a structure on Earth. I am sending you the Coordinates now. Locate and intercept the transmission for analysis.

Ordis: "Well, lets get to it. I want to know who is trying to talk to us.

Next mission is Grineer Interception. The Lotus informs you that the signal is not coming from this facility, but using it as an amplifier to reach the Lisets in the Origin system. In a unique variation to the normal interception style, every time one side has decoded one forth of the transmission, the towers switch channels, necessitating recapture of the towers. Ordis notes this, indicating that the change is being caused externally. Whoever is trying to contact you is a very powerful hacker.

    After mission completing:

Inbox: "Tenno, I have decoded the transmission. It appears our mysterious ally is trying to ask for our help. He says that the Grineer are after him and that he will aid our cause if freed. Unfortunately, he refuses to give his location here. Coordinates were sent to us for a location where the information may be disclosed. Sending your way."

Ordis:"Why is our new friend so secret?"

Next mission: Archwing Intercept, Saturn. Large number of Ogma's present, Ordis notes the Grineer REALLY must not want this guy free.

    After Mission:

Inbox: Tenno, we have our new associate's location, unfortunately, it is deep within Grineer territory. We will need to find a way to sneak in-"

Maroo:"HEY, TINSUITS!!! Someone sent me some information they said you needed, along with a small fortune in platinum. Said you needed some access codes to get into Grineer space. The Corpus have a set right now at one of their bases, so that they can sneak ships through Grineer space. Hope thathelps. Maroo out/"

    Ordis".......That was convenient.

MIssion: Spy 2.0, Corpus area. As you hack into the Corpus records, Ordis wonders what kind of person could be helping you now.

    After Mission

Inbox: "Tenno, we are now ready to head to our mysterious ally's location. Be advised, this area is heavily defended. I suggest we try to be stealthy when entering the facility. Hopefully, this isn't a trap."

Ordis:"If this is a trap, you will most certainly escape it, operator."

    Final Mission: ?????, Phobos.

The player begins by advancing through a uniquely made grineer settlement. As the progress, they eventually progress to Orokin ruins, shocking the Lotus and Ordis. When you reach the location of the Coordinates, you get this cutscene.

As you examine the area, Serveral hellions suddenly appear, as does a commander. YOu are blasted with rockets, smashed to the ground, then brought to your knees. As the commander prepares to kill you, a machine in the ruins comes online, revealing a warframe pod, out of which emerges a new prime Warframe. As the Grineer ready to fight it, it fires a pulse for its hand, turning the Grineer to dust. It then fires anotherone ate the Tenno, but, instead of killing you, it heals you.

???:"Greeting, new one. I am Chronos, the Watcher of Eternity and Master of Time. I thank you for coming to my aid. Now, let us escape this foul place."

Mission is now a rescue mission. Tenno must take Chronos to escape location, a dock with another Liset in it. Unlike other Rescue missions, Chronos already has a full set of weapons available, as well as powers. He wields a Boltor prime, AkBronco prime and Dakra prime. Along the way, he compliments your skill as you cut down Grineer. Endin cutscene shows you watching him board his Liset, followed by you doing the same.

    After Mission:

Inbox: Chronos:"New one, thank you for freeing me. I have long watched you defend the origin system from within my home, the Eternity Engine. It is a device with the capability to alter time and space as the wielder sees fit. I assure you, it have moved it somewhere safe from the Grineer's hands. Unfortunately, just prior to your arrival, the Grineer obtained the engine's schematics from a console within its tomb. I know not what the plan to use it for, but I doubt it is for good intents.

To assist you against these new foes, here is a new tool for you to use:

Attachment: Chronos Warframe blueprint, Chronos component blueprints, and 3 weapon blueprints.

There you have it. A new quest, a newWarframe and 3 new weapons.

    Chronos:

Master of time, Chronos can age his foes into nothingness or restore allies' strength

    Powers:

Age: Ages a target, dealing magnetic and corrosive damage to it

Restore: Restores allies strength to a prior state, healing them and recharging their shields and energy.

Stasis: Generates a stasis field. All enemies within the field can not move, but gain high resistance to damage. Procs, however, will stack and be applied SIMULTANEOUSLY when stasis ends.

Temporal Conflux: Gnerates a field which distorts time, healing allies and obliterating enemies. Players within the field move faster, heal, and hit harder, while enemies take damage, are slowed, and do less damage.

    Weapons will be posted later.

    Read this and comment!!!!!

  8. I would say no to a Tenno ship with large rooms unless it is a base for between missions and serves some other ancillary function. And Ordis CAN OPERATE THE LISET OH HIS OWN, he is that powerful.

  9. Well, this is a good idea.

    I have three suggestions, fwtw.

Red Veil: infested ravager: an old, outright bizarre infested, resembling a chroma from darkSector.

Perrin Sequence: Assault Moa: Moa designed for offense, unleashes a combination of plasma cannon blasts and vicious strikes with its razor sharp feet.

Cephalon Suda: Synoid Osprey: osprey equipped with a magnetic distortion field, which blinds enemies, jams their guns and deals magnetic damage to all nearby foes.

  10. So, we are getting a new underwater tile set. Am I the only one who thinks that an aquatic version of the archwings should be designed for this tileset?

If such a suit is designed, three things must be kept in mind:

    1. The 'Aqua wing' must fully enclose its pilot, otherwise they will die a HORRIFIC death via pressure.

    2. The suit must be functionally identical to the archwing, because movement through water is the closest thing we can get to the weightlessness of space without actually going there (why do you think astronauts train in the ocean or in pools?)

3.although not a necessity, it would be a nice touch if, when you went down to lower depths, the area gradually darkens, simulating the gradual dissipation of sunlight in real bodies of water. I can actually attest to this, because I have been scuba diving in bodies of water where this has happened (namely, the gulf of Mexico).

Other than the aforementioned needs/ neat ideas, go nuts.

  11. Its an interesting idea I mean the orokin most likely had fleets of ships to make up their naval force during the war and we do know that the tenno are capable of building air craft the arch wings were built by us by using ancient blue prints. Who's to say we couldn't do the same with larger ships or maybe there are still orokin cruisers hidden around the system I mean most tech we have we have either found in hidden caches or built ourselves. So it is not entirely out of the realm of possibility also I think orokin cruiser would be  a good name. This could be done in the way that you unlock the quest to find ancient blueprints for orokin ships of war and then the entire player base contributes to the materials needed to make a cruiser and you could build a fleet up that way. It would provide ways to incorporate new game modes like defending docks from enemies were your ship is being constructed or docked. And of course fleet battles utilizing a small squad to operate parts of the ship with most of the ship being automated and so on and so on.

If the Tenno do have ships that can be considered cruisers, DE will need to make an event to explain where they got the ships came from and would probably also need to make a quest to obtain one for clans, cause if the Tenno have cruisers, then I WANT ONE.

  12. @Cobalt: you have good ideas. Oh, and one other note: standing in these missions only apply to the Syndicate you are wearing the sigil of. Other syndicates will not have there standing affected by these missions, be they rival, ally, or enemy. This is because the Grineer and Corpus go to excessive lengths to ensure the missions are not even known to have occurred.

  13. I highly doubt motorcycles would be used by the Tenno. Namely, because they are VERY loud. That doesn't leave other vehicles out of the question, though.

Personally, I would prefer the Tenno use walkers that format around their warframe's, ala Titanfall. That game just integrates well with warframe in my opinion, where we have high tech, parkour capable soldiers side by side with giant mecha.

  14. So, we have soy missions in game, where you go retrieve data masses for the Lotus. My personal question WHAT EXACTLY IS IN THOSE DATA MASSES? I mean, why are they so valuable? So, here is my take on a new mission type:

Top secret missions are elite missions obtained as a reward for completing spy missions. Each spy mission awards a random mission type, as well as other rewards. The higher the spy mission's difficulty, the harder and more rewarding the Top Secret mission is. Top secret missions typically involve tougher enemies, and have certain secondary objectives, like combining spy with deception. Rewards range from rare resources (lots of oxium, neuroses, neural sensors, control modules) to prime parts, to auras.

There would also be an elite set of Top Secret Missions, called Deep Cover missions, but those are for a later post.

Note: Top Secret Missions would be activated via a special section of the Liset's Codex, and Ordis replaces the Lotus for their duration. Go Ordis!!!!!!!!

  15. You guys have made your point. And to answer some questions: the ship is bigger on the inside than it is on the outside, just like the Liset; the ship itself most definetly could beat a ship much larger than it, but needs maintenance (lots of dust and. Other things have accumulated in it); Ordis will not be replaced, I like him as much as you do; finally, the ship isn't something that is obtained overnight, it requires Mastery Rank 10 and is accessed through a complex and challenging quest.

  16. So, a couple of people on the forums posted ideas about a new Tenno ship, including one called the Juniper. This is my take on a new ship, called the Anzu.

The Anzu is a fairly small ship by Warframe standards, not too much bigger than the liset. This is countered by it having ridiculous amounts of armor, shields, internal integrity and ABSURD amounts of firepower. This thing can face Grineer galleons and mid sized corpus ships in a straight fight and WIN.

Despite be rather small on the outside, just like the Liset, it is bigger on the inside. A lot bigger. For reference, it has a multi-room, customizable tile set a la the clan dojo, but on a smaller scale.

    Examples:

    Starting Areas:

The Bridge: meant to function like an observatory, let's you look out into space, also functions as navigation. Basically, is functionally identical to its liset counterpart, but bigger and grander.

Arsenal: Functions exactly like the Liset's, but has more cosmetic parts: namely, storage racks for weapons designed according to what faction the belong to. For example, the Tenno racks are well kept and look very flashy, while the infested racks are alive and have the weapons stored in gestation pods.

Communications: Functions like the Liset's, but has access to a new feature called deep cover missions. These will be explained in a separate post. Design has holo-communications for each syndicate and special Intel given by the lotus.

Foundry: much larger version of the Liset's, has specific stations for primary weapons, secondaries, melee, archwings, arch-guns, arch-melee, consumables, and warframes, all accessed via the main console. Foundry is more efficient than Liset's and halves the construction time of everything.

Genetic Foundry: incubator on steroids, is filled with cryopods, food items, and even bio-domes for kubrows and other critters to live in. Maintains genetic stability better than Liset.

Mods: absurdly large storage room, has higher chance of getting you rare mods via transmutation.

Hangar: Storage area for Liset, can have other ships, which are used for deep cover missions.

    Additions as needed/wanted:

Codex Simulator: used as a training area, spawns enemies fully scanned by codex for training purposes, filters can be set to decide exactly whatq spawns. If no filters are set, expect to have to fight lancers, crewman, and chargers with support from shield lancers, shield Ospreys and ancient healers.

Earth Biodome: Provides area to raise full scanned earth plants, allowing easy access to their extracts

Asteroid Harvester/Polymer Factory/Infested Test culture rooms: provides access to random resource each day in correlation to which faction would use it (e.g. Neuroses for Grineer, circuits/computer processors for corpus, and neural sensors for infested). Is note enough to be solely relied upon for crafting. NOT BY A LONG SHOT.

    Other notes:

Ambience: has unique music, and is designed to appear rather inviting to players

New Character: A female cephalon manages the ship. She is friendly to Ordis(they act like siblings, not an old married couple).

Syndicate traits: if you have the rank 1 badge for any syndicate, specters the would offer to you appear inside the ship, acting as crew and guards.

Please leave comments, I really want feedback.
