    (Focus Lens Concept, I Guess?) Hacker

    First off, sorry if Focus is something we shouldn't really be talking about, yet. I understand that Focus is still just a concept itself.

    And I also apologize if there's a similar one already in DE's plans.

    So, a few weeks ago I saw the council's report on Focus, its tech trees and the example (Warrior's Lens) gave me an idea.

    How about a Hacker Lens with its own tech tree and abilities? Making an already stealthy warframe additionally proficient in something related.

    Abilities:

    Knock (10-30? energy)

    Hacks a green light door, opening it from afar, probably confusing enemies. Can be used while sprinting, effectively preventing the door from stopping you if you're GOING SANIC FAST.

    Remote Hack (50-75)

    Essentially an idea taken from the Bioshock series. Simple as that, allows you to access a console from afar and/or from cover.

    Console Trap (50-75)

    Arms an alert console with an electric trap. When the enemy tries to use it, they get shocked and take electric damage. Works once (maybe more when upgraded).

    Overclock (150-200)

    When Lotus is hacking a terminal, saves up (pretty much instantly skips forward) 15 (30 if upgradeable) seconds. Probably a lifesaver when the terminal is surrounded by heavy gunners.

    I'll probably add more but I bet the rest I've got is any good.

    I myself prefer speed and fast attacks in warframes, so abilities like that can be crucial to me.

    "Tenno Research" sounds kind of... odd.

     

    Aren't the Tenno people? Tenno research sounds more like cybernetics or robotics research rather than discovery.

     

    Couldn't it be named to reflect that? Like "Tenno Recruitment", "Tenno Distress Calls" just to offer a few suggestions.

     

    And yeah, I know, my suggestions aren't much better, but I'm just trying to make a point.

     

    Here's a better suggestion: "Warframe Research". Boom. Done.

     

    Tenno Research sounds like we're designing and building them ourselves. If that was the case why isn't there a character creation system where we pick our Tenno's sex, powers and general appearance? 

    Tenno could be spiritual beings living in the Void controlling the highly cybernetic biomechanic Warframes (maybe the suit IS the flesh? what if?). Oh well at least that's a theory I shamelessly stole from some "WTF ARE TENNOS" topic. Not so canon, right.

    But yeah, Alad was taking apart WFs (http://i.imgur.com/fSgrN7h.png - I can't really tell if there is something inside of it, but it kind of seems like he was okay with dissecting a live Mag after that) to make Zanuka, and possibly more bosses/enemies to come (save for the future updates). I assume they were... emptied first? Or something?

    Anyway, if Dark Sector is any canon, the Tenno are most likely what can be explained as post-humans (enhanced by the Orokin, partially utilizing their tech) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Posthuman
