  1. Honestly, they should just disable merging an already cloned Switch account into any other account since it would be an easy exploit for ppl... Rest of the mergers should be allowed, even if at one point you duped your account to be able to play warframe on the go.
  2. Anyone knows if this will also affect users that duplicated their Playstation account to Switch back then , cause I did that myself. even though I basically never played the switch version beyond the novelty of trying it (heck, I actually borrowed a switch at work to migrate and test it, I don't even own a Switch lol, which makes the whole ordeal even more stupid)... I was basically anticipating owning a switch one day and taking advantage of that one time opportunity to duplicate my account on Switch and be able to play there. In my case I had no intention to merge my PS4 account anyway, so it's not a big deal, but I'll still gladly fight for my Tenno brothers on that one !
  3. Any chance for a fix for fenced gates in the Laboratory having issues for client. The ones I'm thining of is the room where you get the grimoire page, the gate now doesn't seem to lower if you not the host since like last hotfix (meaning you often get missable medaillons). Also, theres's the fenced gate you open by shooting the small globe with the operator where the gate visually lowers but collision stays for all players except host, forcing you to backtrack.
  4. Operator still always gets stuck in hitting thin air animation over and over, really makes it hard to use him properly.
  5. Yeah had the bug at least three times, super annoying. The Clone will get stuck floating like 1 M in the air, with a grey health bar and he'll be impossible to kill. Tried all elements, operator, even necramechs and nothing will cause any damage. Sucks cause you know you're losing an arcane and likely an Entrati codex page each time this occurs.
  6. Yeah, I have a feeling auto-melee during character swap is the culprit here, wish you could disable it in the options ... Super annoying to switch from frame to operator and have him stuck in attack with no damage animation. At least now it doesn't persist for the entire mission and even after death.
  7. I do think the old corpus ships should have been kept, especially considering how it would have been justified by the Parvos Fleet being different than the regular Corpus Fleet. That said I get that they redesigned the corpus look a with fortuna and now they want to redo all corpus tileset so they feel similar, but y'know, sometimes keeping the classics isn't always a bad thing...
  8. I think the trees are in a decent spot , except maybe Vazarin which doesn't really do it for me. Just think it's way too tedious to max for the average player. They made it easier to hit your daily cap now with the new focus orb and lens changes, but since so many upgrades cost a million standing, it's quite a big job to max all trees.
  9. Yeah, don't get it either. Most new players have like ten years of missed content and 4500+ hours of grind to do to catch up with us Jaded Vets, yet the team doesn't really try to streamline the process so you get to that point faster. There's so many things that don't make sense in terms of helping new players get into the game, stuff like: Having tons of syndicates and open world syndicates you need to level up, each requiring forfeiting of tons of standing each time you want to rank up. All those open world are cool, but they are self contained islands and their progression kinda goes against actual account progression for new players. Always strange to tell your friends to ignore these open world for now... Focus being this super important, but extremely slow system to acquire, even with the recent improvements being a step in the right direction. Having to clear two full starcharts, tons of junctions and tons of quests to have access to all activities and play the new content. Having like 700+ different things to level up for mastery, with each taking time and effort to do. So many weapons and things requiring built formas, putting 23 hours delays on everything you want to accomplish as a new player. The entire Prime system being super hard to catch back for newer players due to vaulting, lack of void traces, the difficulty of finding radshare groups for older frames, and just the amount of time and RNG it takes to get a single prime access. Every prime requiring tons of Orokin Cells, which are quite rare in the starchart. Honestly, if I was DE I would do the following: Shave like 45% of the starchart's nodes. Maybe consider rotating nodes for some unpopular mission types. Remove most junction and progression requirements for main story quests and allow players to borrow railjacks and necramechs when the quests need one. Remove formas as requirements for dojo rooms / clan reaserch weapons . and make it so new kuva and tenet wpns don't give mastery for putting five formas in them. Double or triple the level up speed on most of the starchart. You have tons of crap to level if you're a new player, make it less of a chore. Double or triple the amount of void traces you get so you can refine more relics and it's easier to catch up. Either lower the orokin celle requirements for prime stuff or give way more of them in the starchart. Even if you buy all your primes from Warframe Market you run into an insane orokin cell bottleneck and can't craft most of these. Give players way to buy the arcanes they want and maybe considering reverting back to needing ten arcanes to max an arcane... It's almost ridiculous to ask of people to get 21 copies of the same arcane to max them.
  10. Raids should be coming back in an unknown format , think the last time they formally talked about it, they were saying they would ship the Duviri Paradox first but it was on their to do list after that ... I don't think there's any plans for a new starchart. Honestly I personally feel the current starchart is way too big and tedious to clear (especially twice for steel path)... Imho I think they would be better streamling the one starchart and cutting duplicate and needless nodes by at least 35%, then maybe going with a difficulty slider that increases the enemy's strenght but also how many ressources / drops they give... That way it would be easier to find people playing each node of the starchart, instead of dilluting the fanbase on two different starchart that people only clear once and never touch again. Personally , I kinda dig having a global difficulty slider for the whole game. That would mean you can play everything at a proper level, including story quests, railjack and so on... That way you can adjust the enemy level you are comfortable with and play the entire game at that power level... Instead of the odd system we have now where 95% of the regular starchart have enemies with way too low levels and steel path tends to have bullet spongy enemies that are kinda tedious to clear at times. Only thing that could be wierd is when playing with other players with different difficulty slider settings... Like are they going to oneshot all the enemies while it takes you multiple clips to do the same thing ? Again the system would try to prioritise matchmaking with ppl running the same difficulty setting than you.
  11. They keep making Seeking Shuriken more and more situational and not working on so many enemies nowadays.
  12. Dunno why they keep insisting on not giving Excavators and Defense Terminals proper scaling HP and Shields to be able to survive SP enemies... Especially considering SP starchart is deserted and you often have to solo these missions and it's nearly impossible to defend from all directions at once. That said there's a couple workarounds, like usign Limbo's void bubble to fully cover defense targets and stasis everyone in there so they can't move...
  13. Honestly, I no longer run Kahl missions or archon hunts , as they are super repetitive and I was already kinda sick of them after a month. I also kinda feel like the Shard system backfired. On paper it was supposed to give us an incentive to farm them for a long time since we needed five per frame, but in reality, I ended up only putting them on one or two frames I play all the time , and it kinda discourages me from even using them on other frames since they are too annoying to gather. Now it's going to be even worse, as the small stockpile I managed to amass before I burned out of the gamemodes will be dissolved to make the new ones, meaning I'll have even less to properly kit my frames , which in turn means I'll probably keep reverting to using the same 2-3 frames all the times since they are the only ones that are fully modded.
  14. Yeah sadly Warframe has been moving away from intrinsic motivation for a while now, now it's almost entirely FOMO inducing Extrinsic Motivation , basically weekly chore lists and pushing you to play very specific content over and over again. As as result I burn out on the new stuff super quick and end up not feeling like playing at all, not setting my own goals anymore, and essentially only playing the minimum amount of obligatory content each week to hit my extrinsic goals... Really bad for sustainability imho. I just miss the feeling of logging in and going "Hmm, what do I feel like playing today ? Will I put formas on that weapon that look fun, will I go back and play some Raijack because it's fun and I feel like it... But nah, nowadays, you do your weekly archon / kahl, your SP circuit run, your nightwave chores, then you log off not to return for the entire rest of the week. Not a good feeling.
  15. Think the worse offenders are cross play old gen ppl. Like my PS4 friend tries to run missions with me and sometimes the entire team is back to their ship and has already started loading into the next mission before he has time to return to his orbiter or even accept the vote. That said it's hard to avoid when you have consoles and pcs with SSDs teaming up with people with HDDs.
  16. Would rather have them implement proper detection and fixing of loss of player input... I mean, just have a script that runs in the background and detects periodically if your frame or operator is stuck not being able to perform and do a character state refresh when it occurs. Also, remove the time limit on /unstuck command... If I'm trying to use it again, maybe it's because I'm still stuck in the wall... Heck, why not make it so the /unstuck command also does a hard reset on your warframe and operator to re-enable any bugs blocking you. That way regardless or if you are stuck in a wall or stuck being unable to attack or in operator form, you can use the same command to fix both issues at once.
  17. Don't think it's necessary. Most missions are quick and it,s never that much of a hassle to put up with other players. That said i would like having more options to extract solo or just leave a group and finish the mission alone in situations where you need or want to go. Plus DE should probably add workarounds for really toxic stuff like having players refusing to activate "Friendship door", hoarding a datapad in stuff like mobile defense blocking everyone else from progressing and outright figuring out alternatives...
  18. Honestly thee main problem is the time it takes each week. It should be one wave, one level of the circuit path... Right now it's like you need to play like three hours of circuit each week to get your two weapons... Way too much of a time commitment. Plus , you also need to run like three or four Duviri experience runs to also get the Pathos Clamps, so it's basically like a 5-6 hours grind per week, possibly even more if you get bad matchmaking and people that keep quitting. I mean , can you imagine for newer players that want to do both the regular and steel path reward paths each week.. THat's like ten hours of circuit per week, four full runs of duviri experience... Way too much work. Just make it so that you get a single rank on your weekly rank per wave of circuit, that way you know you just have to queue for ten consecutive waves and you're done for the week. Now it's like you stay 12 waves and you're only halfway through the weekly path.
  19. Always found it pretty bad they use it as a requirement in most dojo rooms + a prequisite in crafting tons of clantech weapons + an essential thing for essentially all weapons and frames to reach their full potential + as a requirement for alot of mostery since all the Kuva / Tenet / Necramechs require you wasting five per weapon to get max mastery out of them. Seriously, at the very least remove them as requirements for building.
  20. At least they didn't cut off Reb and Meg this year and we weren't even called losers.
  21. Honestly feels super sluggish and bad to play. 1 - Make shooting snowballs faster and give them better trajectory. 2 - Make candy cane fighting faster and less clunky to use. 3 - Make snowballs deal more damage... You need way too many shots to break shield and kill enemies. 4 - Remove some of the maps that are badly suited for the gamemode. Like the Lua map is great , but the Corpus Cephalon Capture map is really bad, with tons of straight corridors where you can't really jump and dodge snowballs. 5 - Cut down round time from ten minutes to five minutes... Ten minutes is too long and it only lets time for a gap to widen when on a losing streak... My first match our team lost 45-2.... Really sucks to be stuck for ten minutes getting your ass handed to you. It's one thing to take punishment for five, but ten minutes meant tons of people just quit middle or the round.
  22. Really not liking the new repeatable weeklies. The one thing that made NW bearable was the fact you got different tasks each week, and you could ignore those that you didn't like. It kinda pushed players to do content they might not have done in a while too, which was a good thing in a game with tons of content islands you barely touch once you finish farming their rewards. Now, you have three generic , annoying "Do 15 missions per week / kill 500 enemies / Kill 50 Eximuses" chores to do each week and I don't feel like doing these at all... Sure these are semi-passive tasks that will accomplish by doing other activities, but honestly they don't pay all that much in terms of standing for the amount of effort they take. Again , I would have no problem with them if they were as advertised, repeatable tasks that refresh each time you complete one... Aka getting 4500 NW points every time you do 15 missions / Kill 500 Enemies / Kill 50 Eximus. But by making them weekly chores , you kinda feel like you have to do them each week... Which defeats the entire purpose of repeatable weekly tasks... Now it's just the same bland weekly objectives every week. If they were repeatable , I would mostly ignore them unless they passively occur.
  23. Yeah, not gonna happen. DE's main monetization model is based on releasing new Prime Access Packs every couple of months. If you stop making new frames, you'll run out of frames to Prime rather soon. Likewise, the main drive for player retention is people caring about their mastery rank level and thus farming every new thing they release even if it sucks and they have no intention of using said gear. Steve himself has said Warframe is a "Collector's game"... The people that get really invested into the game start treating it like an action figure collection of sorts, they want to have all the figures and all their accessories even though realistically you can only use one frame and one primary / secondary / melee at a time. So yeah, they will probably keep making niche warframes with strange concepts till the game dies imho... I keep joking about the "Watermelon" themed frame and how it's bound to happen sooner or later.
  24. Yeah no clue why the never added a favorite option for relics. You literally have like ten seconds to pick relics between rounds... At least allow the fanbase to favorite the six relics they want to run in a near future so they show up on top of the list...
  25. I mean it won't be out before the game awards, that's for sure, especially since they intend to showcase the trailer there... There's a pretty high chance it will be released during the game awards. Would make tons of sense from a marketing and timing standpoint. That said they might wait a day or two just so the server load from everyone logging it to get the free Sevagoth dies down... Still, can't beat the "available NOW" hype of showing something super cool at VGA then having people going straight into the game after the show ends. If it's not released during the game awards, they have a pretty narrow window to release it... I'd say it has to ship before December 14th, as tons of people start taking vacations and the studio will be ill prepared to address the game-breaking bugs that surface with each day that passes after that. They have to give themselves enough time to do a few hotfixes basically before everyone leaves for Christmas break... Keep in mind they might also need to go through cert process for their fixes in some cases, so they definitively have to ship pretty shortly after the VGAs if they intend to have the time to fix the issues. That said with DE being DE and often doing nonsensical moves, they could very well do something stupid like releasing the game on like December 20th, then leaving for vacations knowing full well their playerbase will be stuck playing buggy mission types that keep failing and the like for like the entire holiday season and having to wait like for January 15 for the team to do any hotfixes...
