    Nerf him to bits!

LOOK AT HOW STUPID OP THIS IS!

That took almost 2min to defeat them with abilities and he'said not the only frame with somewhat invincibility. At least  his is a passive that you have to earn.

They aren't "on his level"- and they shouldn't be. Excalibur so so OP that I am confused as to why DE hasn't dropped a nerf nuke on his exalted blade yet. It makes all of his other abilities, his guns, and even his teammates totally redundant. NOTHING should be like that- and I'm so incredibly happy that DE didn't do what I was afraid of happening to mag and volt. Their reworks look to be top tier just like Frost's- without going into the OP zone.

TL;DR- NOTHING should use excalibur's rework as an example for how things should be done- rather for how they should not be. There's nothing to complain about, both reworks will be amazing. Excalibur will eventually get the nerf he's earned himself and then everyone can stop comparing to him finally (DE plz make it happen sooner rather than later...- and a rework for valkyr soon would be appreciated as well. :D ). They never should have said "excalibur tier"- frost tier is what they should aim for, and they apparently do know that, thank god.

In fact I think excalibur EB should be nerfed to 15 -20 meters before disappearing.

He is not a good frame. He is decent if you get him early. He can clear most star chart planets rather easily. But than any frame can do that. Yet when it comes to stuff like sorties or trials the only useful skill Oberon has is his "1". And by building for range and duration and constantly spamming "1" Oberon can kinda archive what Loki and Nyx can do with a single button press every once in a while...

His healing is too slow to be useful. His hollow ground is even less useful. And his ult is meh at best.

Firstly his first shouldn't be built for anything.  And everything you said shows that you absolutely using him wrong.

I don't think I ever seen a least convincing argument than this. Did you just compare Nova to Oberon, and say Oberon is more useful? Did you just say Nova, arguably the best CC frame in the game with her four less useful than a rad proc (I can get these from my weapons BTW) goat man who has the most gimmicky heal in the entire game? Uh....No lol.

I like Oberon and all, but Nova is LEAPS AND BOUNDS MORE USEFUL IN ANY PARTY. I didn't say he is useful, just not more useful. And Nova is very much an endgame (whatever the hell that means) frame. Oberon can't go an hour into survival in a party without becoming dead weight.

My friend, my point  is that both have there uses. Oberon's slam stops them, knocks down, and process rad. I think that's pretty good cc. It will keep any level at bay while I heal my team and shoot at the same time. I know this because I most definitely have taken him into (if memory  serves) it was a T3S for 60 min . And the same for nova with a loki and nekros. (1 guy had dc'ed) we still lasted 60 too but ONLY because of my dred head shots as we camped. Their weps had fallen off a while back if. With MP. When I used oberon the knockdown rad cc that not only made them shoot each other but gave my raktna cernos 75% boost came in a lot handier at 60. Look at his mods again and give him another chance.

  5. I'm soooooo sick of these threads already. Stop comparing him to 4 other frames just because they can do something a bit better than him....but just that. Unless I can swap out my frame for another mid mission, I rather enjoy all his versatility. I wouldn't go to war with a bazooka and a knife would so why compare him to 1 trick ponies and say he sucks. Confusion will always be confusion. Health is still health, and mass CC will still be CC no matter who you use. It's just that he can do it all only a bit different. While  my team is being healed and all the enemies that were just over running them are now picking themselves off the ground to shoot each other, i can remove any team proccs and unload with my weps ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

    Why, is Oberon actually useful?

Radiation( + 75% damage to grineer), puncture,  proc  removal,  team heal, knock down, high damage.. and don't list a bunch of frames that each do 1 or 2 better. I want the whole cc + damage +health kit to go into battle at my finger tips and not relying on others.

Unless Oberon is Severely buffed soon then this skin is just an orange Trin skin for a frame that requires a few forma to be "Mid" tier. Is it just me? If Oberon is not reworked then idk what to hope for. Limbo Deluxe might have had more Dazzle than a tree.

Nova is no tank power house and has her uses but even with x2 damage on MP she's not end game. Oberon still has way more usefulness than her at late game and I know cause I use him effortlessly at late game. Does Nova need a rework also?

  8. Polar: Mag’s lost twin brother

1st) Push: slows incoming projectiles. The closer to polar the slow projectiles move up to maximum of -95% speed within 3 meters. Affected by duration. 65%, 75%, 85%, 95%. Matrix bullet time effects.

2nd)Hover: Reduces the effect on self and allies of gravity. Increases speed, adds Maglev and half gravity. Sheild is increased for duration and shielded enemies within 15 meters of ally suffers sheild reduction of 30%.

3rd)Twin Moons: An indistinct hologram of Polar and Mag floats on the left and right rotating around a target. Bodies and items are pulled towards the target. Bodies do impact damage while items do a range of elemental procs. Enemies not within 15 meters of target will have their speed slowed by 50% until they are 25 meters away from target. Shielded enemies will have their shield drained while being affected. Ability will be duration based or until target dies. Affected by power strength and duration. If 1st) push is used during twin Moons projectiles will also hit the target automatically for cumulative slash damages. Twin Moons can be placed on an ally to automatically draw in drops within 15 meters and incoming projectiles will not be drawn in but damage is reduced 75%.

4th)Quasar: Metalize the bones of enemies and environment in a large radius. A 1.5 meter ball of energy is released along a path that will change if interupted. The ball electrocutes all within 15, 17, 19, 21 meters stunning them. The walls, environment and Quasar ball are magnetized as North Pole and the bones are south pole. Pulled in multiple direction by equal force bodies are ripped apart. Longer duration increases damage. When Quasar ends it explodes in a 15 meters radius (locked) for the total damage inflicted to enemies in its radius similar to equinox’s maim but without the need to activate at the end.Quasar will self destruct. Affected by strength, range and duration.

  9. KETTERLE.      (I mean we have zhuge after a real person.)

Wolfgang Ketterle's lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge. It currently holds the record—at least according to Guinness World Records 2008—for lowest temperature: 810 trillionths of a degree F above absolute zero. Ketterle and his colleagues accomplished that feat in 2003 while working with a cloud—about a thousandth of an inch across—of sodium molecules trapped in place by magnets.

The Grineer, by the lore, is one of the most inferior nations when it comes to technology, only beating the Infested and 'Wild'. Their cloning facilities should also allow them to easily gain superiority through numbers but, I must say, Infested would indeed beat them in numbers.

They still have  some technology. It's not the 21st century. And they only fought against the corpus for a long time. I think they will and can adapt. The CC  mentioned  isn't  that technical except  for radial disarm.

  11. We all know that the corpus completely out shine the grinner. Sortie had made that abundantly clear. Yeah we tenno still slaughter them but let's face it corpus sortie make us sit up just a bit more. For us tenno when it comes to late game when damage falls off cc and debuff are king. The corpus have nullifiers so I think anot enemy that has a few cc options will be a fun challenge.  Blind of course, radial disarm sends primary and secondary to random location within 40 meters.  Those arc traps thrown by them to act like overload.  Not anything spamy, just consistent.
