I heard this in my head grinding for traces for Banshee Prime and couldn't unhear it (largely because of redundant transmissions). Had to make it a thing.

..and yet the original song is not mentioned anywhere, nor it is a collab. It should belong in the cover/parody section, it's not properly an original song itself and yet it made it in the top 5 of the contest..
Other than that, enjoyed the stream, the special guest and most of the other usermade songs, keep up the good work! <3I was waiting for a response or message from DE before responding because, my desire is first and foremost to respect the wishes of DE, as well as those of boyinaband. While I maintain that this song doesn't constitute any kind of musical plagiarism (I drew structural and stylistic influence/inspiration from Limelight, but the melodies, chord progressions/riffs, lyrics, and flow are all unique), if they felt it was too similar I'd be fine with whatever they felt was appropriate.
I've also reached out to Dave at boyinaband to see what his opinion is. If he wants me to take it down I'll be happy to do so, and will reach out to the devs accordingly.

The song is written around the idea of thinking about the original eight warframes as old friends. Here's my entry. I wrote two songs with the intention of picking the better of the two, and this is it. It's not 100% how I'd like it to be (I was sick as a dog for every aspect of making this. Lmao), but I'm happy enough with it, given the time constraints. I had a lot of fun making it, and I hope you enjoy!
I'll have an instrumental version up soon if anyone wants that, and should have a video for it up in the next day or two,but I wanted to go ahead and get my entry itself in now.

Nah, nothing like that. If anything, I'd be paying them for some of the premium options. It's more just to help keep track of who subscribed, and the one 'question' in there is good for getting some feedback on what folks want to see more of. ^_^

*shrug* I don't get anything out of it personally. I've been meaning to use it for stuff like this, but never really had a chance to before now. I took a quick look at some of the options that were available, and gleam.io seemed like it did more of what I want than any of the other giveaway/contest sites I'd come across.

Welp. I didn't have any music stuff here, but I wanted to take a crack at it so I figured now was as good a time as any to give it a shot with just the voice. The lyrics were written by myself, CosmicArcana (aka VorpalJabberwock on PC), Armaina (Armaina on PC), and XandyPants (XandyPants on PC). It's got some imagery and some symbolism there that I'm super proud of, but I won't spoil the lore and symbolism and stuff. Enjoy!
