It prevents new players from immediately trading for everything when they only have two daily trades when they first unlock it.

What's a new player that just unlocked going to sell? An Ammo Drum? They have nothing of value for anyone until they are able to enter the Void and Derelict. Even then, unless they are being carried (shame, shame), they're not getting far fast. The only thing being prevented is a new player being handed a bunch of gear from an older player.

  2. Apply lethal damage to Tonkor's primary fire and add a non-lethal extremely low damaging alternative fire with bounce ability and all will be well in the world. As for Braton Prime, no, actually. It's incredibly weak compared to most other weapons in the game. There are melee weapons stronger than it.

If were active around the times, Despair was once held as the strongest weapon we Tenno had access to. Do you understand why that's no longer the case? Power creep. When something new, stronger, more efficient, and easier to get comes and replaces the strongest weapons, that's power creep. Do you know what explosive weapon was held in high regard before Tonkor? Penta. Penta's descent to hell? Cutting its ammo down to mere scraps compared to what it used to have (and it deserved it) coupled with inept users that kept blowing themselves up. Tonkor doesn't have those weaknesses, actually it has even more strengths than the old Penta.

There's an old Warframe saying: You can put six Formas on a Skana, but Galatine will still do several times more with less effort needed.

  3. In a time far, far ago, the Tenno of old were forced to slay bosses over and over... for a single part. You see, those were darker times; parts weren't guaranteed to drop from bosses. No, no. Eight times and no chassis? Try eight runs with absolutely nothing to show for it. It's not so bad when you think of it like that, isn't it?

  4. As far as I'm concerned, Extractors were never to be intended as an alternative way to farm, only a way to get something while not actively playing. Just like login rewards, they are more along the lines of a gift. The amount of resources they even give are so small over a week compared to just one sitting with a farm party that it's more of an afterthought to even use them, much less trying to build a dependable relationship with them. Do remember that loot tables (which include resources) have always been weighted.

As for Mutagen Samples, those things have been on the scarce end of things for a long, long time.

  5. Resonance Sonar has more practical use and is far more efficient in that it does. A single Sonar with its Augment is capable of spreading across maps and is able to cover entire enemies with weakpoints that, in turn, spread to other enemies and covers them as well. It's immensely more powerful in terms of killing power than any Sound Quake and it scales infinitely.

Sound Quake makes enemies do a dance, Sonar makes them into a bulls-eye for massive damage. Sound Quake is dangerous CC and there are many more safer options, Sonar is safe utility that amplifies damage done to a target to amounts that only the absolute extreme depths of Survival can even hope to supply an enemy to survive it. Yeah, I'm a Sonar fan and there's no reason to not bring a Sonar Banshee on a mission that requires mass killings, especially if there's a Nova there (and honestly, Molecular Prime coupled with Sonar is something that's so glorious to watch).

  6. So you went into a public non-Tower game, a mere capture at that, with randoms and expected them to follow your rules? You can do that solo.

Well once you level a weapon or whatever there is really no point in leveling it again, its just a grind, so i mean its kind of a cool idea, meaning at 30 you could just put on as many forma as you like per weapon.

Still feels like its not enough, they need to add some kind of milestones at like 15, 20, 25, 30 even...  Maybe cosmetics, auras, bling... Nothing that has an actual gameplay advantage, just something to distinguish a high MR player for swag baller bragging rights.

Like people should look at someone whos's MR 25 and go "Thats an MR 25, neat!" Thats about it.

If I saw a MR 25, I'd check their account profile to see if they play anything else.

  8. "Bandaid mods" are basically mods that are used to counter-act a system that is either seen as a) broken or b) unfair. Handspring is an example of a bandaid mod, but something like Phoenix Renewal for Oberon is not. Augments are exactly as their names state that they are- augments. Augments seek to enhance an ability, not "bandaid". Sure, I do love my Sonar with Resonance and yes, it makes it immensely more powerful, but I can use Sonar without it. In fact, every ability can be, and was, used without augments. The problem with people is that they thirst for power, so they wish for these augments to become one with the ability that they enhanced.

You wish for more powercreep, Tenno.

  9. Phoenix Renewal is a poor augment in Oberon's current state. It'll only be useful in teams where someone gets sloppy in low to medium level play. In high level, once you get to the point where a scratch is most of your health (or all of it), they're going to shoot you, the augment triggers, shoot you again, and you're going to go down. Why anyone would use this instead of Quick Thinking is beyond me, especially if there's a Warframe capable of healing in the setup.

I want to like Oberon- I do, I really do- but there's just not a place for him with his current kit in later game, as he is outperformed in every way. He needs a complete rework, not just an ability or two.

  10. That was super sad to watch what happened to the Kallari. Using Shadow Walk to basic attack instead of the good ol' Blood Dagger followed by Death Sentence combo is not a good idea, considering that she's an ability hero. Had she saved Shadow Walk, could of popped it instead after that second Evade flip and would of gotten away without any issues. It was very clear that the TwinBlast was distracted by Murdock and the minions, so it is very possible to walk up on him. But enough about my griping about poor Kallari play.

Yes, I do like the switching into sprinting and some of the hero animations are pretty nice to look at. For a game still in alpha, it's extremely pretty and runs very well.

Yeah, here's the thing: it only, and ONLY, and O N L Y drops in T1 Ext. Period.

Ash Prime's blueprint only drops from T3 Defense C, Ash Prime Systems from T3 Survival C, Carrier Prime's Carapace from T4 Defense C, Dual Kamas Prime Blueprint drops from T3 Survival C, Dual Kamas Prime Handle drops from Derelict Defense C, Nikana Prime Blade drops from T2 Survival C, Nova Prime Chassis drops from T3 Survival C, Nova Prime Systems drops from Derelict Survival C, Odonata Prime Wings drops from T4 Survival C, Saryn Prime Chassis drops from T3 Survival C, and Volt Prime Systems drops from T1 Survival C.

To keep it in a list (and keep in mind this is the only place they are gotten):

    T1 Survival: Volt Prime Systems

    T2 Survival: Nikana Prime Blade

T3 Survival: Ash Prime Systems, Dual Kamas Prime Blueprint, Nova Prime Chassis, Saryn Prime Chassis

    T4 Survival: Odonata Prime Wings

    T3 Defense: Ash Prime Blueprint

    T4 Defense: Carrier Prime Carapace

    Derelict Survival: Nova Prime Systems

Derelict Defense: Dual Kamas Prime Handle

These are all C rotation, which means 20, 40, 60, ect minutes and 4, 8, 12, ect waves to reach. Keep in mind that each of these have resources, Formas, and other Prime parts that dilute it to hell. RNGesus needs to be on your side for T3 Survival's C rotations.

  12. Isn't the main blueprint in a lowly T1 Exterminate? I have 71 of those bloody things and every time I use one, I get three or more back while looking for something else on the star chart. Sneezing kills most of the map in T1 anyways, so there's always that when compared to doing three or four C rotations in T3 (may RNGesus have mercy on your soul) or T4.

So you have all of your mods maxed? What about new mods that come out?

528 gold r5s to max a primed, they don't just appear out of thin air :)

unless you're some space magic wizard, if that's the case, teach me your ways ^^

Some people, like myself, actually attend every event and get everything from them. Both Sorties and Tactical Alerts (to completion) are a waste of time because of that. On top of that, Cores are more easily and more quickly gathered elsewhere.

And as for maxing Primed mods, yes, actually, I do have all the meaningful ones maxed along with Corrupted mods with enough Cores for a 0 to 10 operation if needed.
