  1. Took a break from Warframe and came back today.  I been playing years so have top forma gear, all frames except new ones and tried archon hunt disruption.  This was the worst warframe experience I ever had.  Horrible bullet sponges with no obvious counters.  I could only keep them in place using operator ability for a second or two and then it stops working.  Tried corrosive, viral, etc., nothing worked.  The public matches I played everyone kept dying and I ended up soloing it.  After about 30 minutes I just turned it off.

Sure I could have kept trying and got through it, but who cares.  Games are supposed to be fun.  Either fantasy crazy strong or some sort of challenge, this was neither, just to much armor and health bullet sponges.  I just turned it off.  If this is all Warframe has to offer as new content, well I guess its been a good ride but I dont see how it continues.

Does anyone think this is fun?

  2. I wont bother watching because they are offering crap you never get and support will screw you over.  Just bad memories for me.  They need to stop offering S#&$ through TwichGarbage.

They could just announce a code at sometime during the stream that has a limited time to enter it.  Twitch drops for some and not for others.  It is so frustrating and support wont help even with screenshots so I wont watch it.

Funny thing is, I would watch it if Twitch wasn't involved in the prizes.  IT DOES NOT WORK FOR EVERYONE.

  3. Don't forget the awesome change to pets that allows us to save any pet to any configuration.  That was actually the best QOL feature DE has given us in years.

I'm not sure when air charges were separated from landing crafts, but also a great change.

I have not collected Protea yet, but it's an interesting mini-game mode, even if it will disapear after everything collected.

  4. I got the ship to and noticed a few QOL improvements:

    1. You can now pick your air support charge in the lander selector screen so you can use any air support charge you want with your favorite landing craft.

    2. You can color each landing craft separately.  Previously you pick one color scheme and it's set for all craft.  Now each can be independent.

Those are great changes.  I also like the new sound effects of the new ship.  Having each ship have different sound effects is fun.

With that said, I'm not a fan of new ship.  It looks like a pigeon (or a pregnant bird) and some colors looks horrible on it.  The base skin is very bland.

The air support charge also points to the fact that Nora is so boring, she puts enemies to sleep with her voice. Kind of shot themselves in foot with that air support charge....

Not freeing the Solaris. Pretty cut and dried.

I hate to keep wasting keys to test how to do this, I forgot since quest.  Do I just need to melee strike specters to charge then throw glaive at prisoners.

It's charged when it glows correct?  The prisoners are marked on map so I guess it's best to run to closest one first and let specters come to you?

  6. So I have tried this a few times and haven't been able to get to rank 3.  I always try it with one extra player so the goal is 100 instead of 75.  There are some issues I'm not going to discuss but I typically have to carry him.

With that said I don't feel kill speed is the problem.  I have a umbra mesa that is extremely powerful.  I equip enemy radar and of course a maxed prime animal instinct so I can see the enemy coming from very far away.

My problem is the enemies do not spawn fast enough or I kill them too far away and I never see any time extender drops.  I'm not certain mesa is the best frame for this because of that reason.

I know I can free prisoners and get a 20 second increase, but charging the new weapon is time consuming and requires you to get very close.  Heck the mechanic to charge is wonky.  I'm not even sure the weapon needs to be equiped and it's a heavy strike or just equip a pistol + melee; I've ignored glaives for a long time.  I haven't replayed the quest and wiki is not clear.

Did I just have some bad RNG or are the little time pyramids that drop very rare?  I got to 87 yesterday and did not see one single time extender.

Would it be better just to play a melee frame so we can pick these up?  Obviously pople are getting it so what am I doing wrong?

  7. I think this brings more problems than when the pet dies and your teleported back to railjack.  Perhaps the problem is forced recall to railjack and nothing else.

Teleporting pets when down could be a passive for a unique pet, but it breaks immersion giving it to all of them.

I do not care for this change.

As far as reviving other people's pets, it is needed because there are some missions, well edilon hunts, where you have a specific role and your pet could get stuck in acid rain while you perform it.  Having an ally revive so whole team continues to benefit from extra crit is needed.

Until we get separate modable teeth/claws, I'd guess 95% of people mod pets wrong and add damage.  All companions need is utility and survive mods.  Wasting mod slots on bite or damage just makes it die more.

  8. You are forgetting one very important thing, they are still playing.

Yes I wished I started earlier, I've been playing about 5 years.  I have everything mastered except the founder stuff and I'm about 5.8K away from 29.

While I'd love for DE to release a re-founder package for completionism, or even the prime weapons without the frame, it's not gonna happen.

    I have accepted that.

  9. This thread is a waste if electrons.  Most players cannot solo PT in 5 min with any frame.  With a good 4-player squad, yes, but good luck finding that in a pub match and good luck recruiting, you will be waiting awhile (unless it's nightwave week).

This is the only place where chromas damage buff is useful because there is plenty of damage to keep it maxed out.   Chroma only brings damage to the table but he does not trivialize the fight, and he is expensive to forma up to get him to that point.

If your so concerned about credits and your so elite to do it in 5 mins, run it twice with your favorite frame.

If you want to get a rework on chroma, fine, he needs it, but don't go calling for a nerf.  Man I don't understand this community. .

  10. Definately buggy.  I play with my son (invite only setting) who doesn't care about spy.  He stayed outside while I went into the vaults.  No alarms were raised inside the vault and I do not remember any grineer setting off alarms.

He got the quest, I didn't.  The only thing I can think is an alarm got raised that was flagged to my account as host, but not his.

I just did it again solo as ivara not killing anything and it worked.  Not sure how to replicate the bug, but pretty sure the award should be all or nothing, not one player awarded (who stayed out of vaults mostly hidden), and another player not award (who did vaults).

    I can't disagree.

It's weird these Syndicates hate each other, yet they don't have any conflicts between themselves. Like Suda missions should be raiding New Loka on Earth or something like that, or synthesising a bunch of Red Veil nut-cases.

People who have been around awhile remeber old pvp versus pve, where it was basically competitions versus other player teams.  Of course it was a fiasco with cc abilities and kills at spawn, but it was fun.

Imagine raiding a red veil base for +/- standing with other players on a ladder board.  Forget sigils, player teams / clans will complete blasting pve for getting to top of ladder / conclave standing and then some of the hate between syndicates would make since.

  12. It's true.

I enjoy the game because I enjoy it for what it is, not what it can be.  Yes it has a lot more potential, but I recommend to be happy with what is right there in front of you.

It is a good game, likely the best free to play shooter out there, but it's not perfect.

  13. I agree.  It would be very useful to be able to setup my operator around the Warframe I'm playing.

For example, I'd like to mess around with an ember / magus accelerant build but going in an changing an arcane before missions is very time consuming.

It's a lot easier to pick the "best" most versitile Arcanes and ignore all others.  If I could save operator configuration to Warframe configs, id definately have a melee, general, edilon (a few of these depending on unarui or maduari), and speed builds by swapping out Arcanes on operator and amp.

What I'd like to see is configurations on operator that can be saved, similar to Warframe configurations slots, then have ability to map operator configuration to a warframe config.

That way, when I play that frame, my operator school, amp, and Arcanes are already optimized for the Warframe I'm playing.

  14. I believe these will be in the store from now on like aura mods and such.  Yes it is frustrating if you really wanted a new mod and have no way to get it (I suppose you can trade for plat), but I imagine we will be seeing these so much we will be tired of seeing them before long.

DE could have spaced them out better!

  15. I like the multi elements and the complexity.  I like all the variations of weapons and ability to mod differently.

The elements do not have to be equal to each other, just another round of balance and tweaking.  Viral effects can be reduced slightly, gas increased, etc.

I enjoy the variation, it's not a RTS game, it's a power fantasy RPGish space pirate boxer ninja Knight game.

You cant have your cake and eat it too. And generally with frames you really only need 2 (I find I only use 2 different builds on each warframe) different builds, the exception to this is Augments. It's just maximizing the forma your using. It's a balancing act between efficiency and flexibility which is the idea of forma in the first place.

I'd say really the only real restriction is Umbra forma/mods is what can be restricting. Even then the warframes I use those mods in....they are pretty much my go to builds with that specific warframe.(I'm looking at you Inaros)

That's the only issue I really find and even then I find it either a) doable with the frames that I've formed already to where I want them or b) not worth messing up my builds to add them.

Apparently you have never forma a weapon or a pet to use all max mods.  I've got over 10 forma on pets going from trying out damage to trashing it and going back to utility.  I absolutely should be able to keep my time invstment and go back to damage if I wanted to.

There is no lore on forma that says it must stay this way.  The game has grown and went through many iterations of changes and mod changes   We shouldn't be punished, we should be able to just add a forma polarization to that slot, keep old polarization and reset / level frame.  Resources spent, DE loses nothing and players incentivized to revisit and replay old frames / items.

DE has this intricate damage system where different elements are supposed to perform better than other towards certain factions.  Granted it has never actually worked like this and always some sort of meta, the point is, if your smart, you forma toward meta.  Why play around with alternate builds if they perform less.

DE kills versatility and makes it pointless to try new things.  Why try for a fun build when the meta works so good.  When the meta and fun builds have different polarities, guess which one wins?

P.s. there would still be a balancing act between effeciency and flexibility.  This change would only move that balancing act to each configuration.  You do not magically get an extra slot or somehow get extra power from extra added capacity.  All you get is the ability to try new builds without completely screwing up your main build (which often is the cookie cutter meta).

I can give many example but all I can really say is as you play the game more and build up a huge list of frames / items, you'll want to try new things but won't want to mess up builds.  You will see ...

the reason i made the suggestion to allow stacking forma is because of clutter. Right now if you want to make multiple varied builds for your favorite items (usually frames) you need multiple copies. which is entirely doable. but now you need to remember which 1 has which builds and even then how many configurations are used to their fullest potential even when fully formaing an item? sometimes you cant fully build config c how you want because polarities dont mach well enough meaning you only get 2 1/2 configurations per item so now youve got 2-3 of 1 frame because you like to try out new things with it because its your favorite and youre only getting 2 configurations out of each after dumping upwards of 6 forma into each of them. if you couldve put those on 1 frame and now most of its slots can support the 3 main polarities (madurai, vazarin and naramon) and you could build pretty much anything you can think of across the 3 default configs plus any more you opt to put more on it. also as a related side note if umbra forma are used on a frame it makes it much harder to work with on other configurations for that item. my point is to simplify not give us more power

And now you can buy configurations after the 3rd.  I haven't done this yet, 3 has always been enough.

I do have multiples of same frame when I was focus farming because of lens, but these are very specific, and I don't even use anymore.

I will never have more than one of same frame for different builds.  That is extreme.

  18. I've always liked the idea and suggested it as long as 3-4 years ago and see these pop up all the time.  The community is split on it.

Some people incorrectly think it will add power, but it won't.  All it does is create replayability on the same frames, allow you to future proof your favorite thing when the game changes, and add versatility.  You not getting an extra slot, and not getting anything you cannot already do (but permanetely lose your power build to make a fun one).

If anything, it encourages non-cookie cutter builds and decreases power.  Now players will not be afraid to test out that mod set because if it doesn't work out, they can go back to original configuration.

This also would greatly benefit pvp.  Many players, myself included, refuse to play pvp because I do not want to build up a whole new weapon/frame to fit pvp specific mods on my favorite weapons.

If I could throw some wierd polarities on weapons and fit pvp mods in, I'd give it a go again.  Well, maybe, there is other issues to.

  19. I think it may be bugged.  When you play as client on host ship, it barely does any damage.

But if that is the bug, the client not doing damage, and it's supposed to be powerful, I'd say it is not the ability but the ships that got weak.

Tether only seems strong now because enemies got nerfed.  Nope, not nerf, they got neutered.

The only semi challenge now is going to high level enemy nodes.  The first new nodes are to easy now.  Even then, the high nodes are not that bad either.
