  1. Funny, I tested and it just seems that depends on how fast armor is stripped, it gives the impression of something going wrong.
    EDIT: Or maybe the armor stripping too fast is whats broken....who knows.

    Tried it myself in simulacron and everything seemed fine, until procs started to strip armor too fast for me to notice.
    Funny to see 150 corrupted heavy gunners "getting one shot" when initial shoots were not doing enough damage.

    Sneaky procs...Thanx for sharing this.

  2. Do we need Warframes on a game based around such warframes?

    Thats the Lotus of all questions isn't it...maybe we need someone with PhD to answer that one, obviously the developers do not meet the criteria to answer it.

    On topic, by your logic, none of us would be playing the game since there would only be a need for one warframe to clear the starchart, and the game would had been gone in the dust as per 2015 for lack of content. Since new frames are not needed, no content would neither be needed.

    Apathy is thy name. More common than Ammo Drums pre 2017.

    i just dont get this this game has been out for as long as it has and thier is no trading post i have been sitting here for weeks with a ton of prime parts trying to trade them no one wants to buy from me or trade with me for them i just went to the maroo's baazar and thier was like 20+ people just sitting thier hands raised trying to trade thier has to be a better way to do this why cant thier be a place to put an item up for trade for platinum or a different item to get can someone explain why the trading post isnt a thing in this game i mean trading face to face is good to have to but this game could really use a trading post

    As someone who used to exploit trading posts/automated trade/ Auction Houses, I'll pass, I actually like this game enough to not push on economics exploits. And we already got Rivens...🤮 I'm sure those are getting exploited heavily.

    And yes, I have participated (among 300 other players, over 10 years ago) in the closing of 1 mmo due to bots and 3rd party gone so bad the company could not operate.

    And yes, thats how old, efficient, and proven, Auction Houses, Trade Posts, and all other automated markets, are at effectively destroy games.

    Once you introduce automated trading, you are inviting IRL black market. Thats payment information fraud, ramparts bots encouraging less than informed players (or immorally impaired) to buy off 3rd party; thats now DE wasting diminished income into dealing with bots and frauds (you think we are experiencing content drought now?).

    And yes, I was once a player that though I could live off riches exploiting automated markets; I actually enjoyed that game, but was not clearly thinking on long term, game closed 6 months after things went wrong. Don't do that Warframe, specially if you claim to enjoy it. Thats all.

    nice read

    At the end, while you have great points that @(PS4)Bigboodyjuudy still need to understand, there is one thing that all of us need to do:

    Give feedback in the right section.

    All this is on DE matchmaking algorithm, spend 2-3 months in public (I did about 3 years ago), ask where others are from, time of day/night/player traffic; it just needs to stop putting high ping squads together for the sake of creating squads (ignoring ping limits/location/etc).

    Suggesting how to change the system to create a complete new monster might not be the right way to go about it, improving existing system might be possible.

    Been telling this to players  with same issues for over 2 years, but those with the issue are so few, and not getting together on one post, that it is easy for DE to dismiss as within margin of error.

    Players have legitimate reasons to be frustrated with you and your failure to provide rewarding endgame content of any kind for literally YEARS at this point.

    Love how all those "smart players" have yet to get the hint, after YEARS of playing the game: You are not getting "the rewarding endgame" content...at any point anytime soon.

    I have learned to take Warframe for what it always had been, a casual looter shooter with borrowed mechanics from other genres, while not letting any of those define the game itself.
    Yes, Warframe is a monster grinder of repetitive content to no end (sad that most players need to be told this in a redundant, repetitive way in this time and age: +1 to redtext)

    Endgame content cannot exist until our power is reigned in such that there is actually a level that can be defined as "endgame", and frankly the gameplay actually needs to resemble that of a "game" instead of invisible, unkillable frames dealing 5 billion damage to enemies with 10 thousand health. And unfortunately any attempts to suggest such methods for reigning in our power so that an "endgame" can be more than a pipe dream is met with vitriol and ridicule. We can't have both scaling frames (to this degree) and endgame content at the same time.

    Also, General Discussion?

    +1

  6. Rivens are a double dipping loot box, you pay, they nerf, you pay again.

    Spoiler

    That free plat ain't free my fellow Tenno, cash cows and whales are the reason you can trade.

    I dont spend a dime on them, if aint free from Gift of Lotus, I don't use it.

    If it gets nerfed I lost nothing more than 20 minutes of my time.

    I start play WF as a fast mindless action combat game. I already do not like the fishing , mining and animals capture. This spaceship stuff seem so out of place with the core gameplay.

    I wish DE would spend more time finishing melee 3.0 and fixing the scaling problem.

    Hopefully BL3 can replace WF for me.

    I started playing Warframe for the same reasons...

    I find the spaceship fitting to the game, but not to my gaming playstyle, if no meaningful content is tied to it, I'll be fine, I'll just keep doing normal/old content and let others enjoy the new content.

    And yup, if BL3 meets your needs, don't hold back.

  8. Hey! We are on the same boat.

    MR24 atm, the only meta I know is Saryn and Mag, everything else is fail on my end. I believe I have been carried in Sorties about the only 2 times I have done it. Done public Plains Eidolons long enough to max my standing. Have yet to touch Fortune past the introduction quest.

    I'm a casual, I'm fine with MR 12-16 being more knowledgeable about the game than me, if anything I welcome when they give me lectures, and make it clear to them that the only reason I am sitting at MR24 is because how long and how easy the basics of the games can be for me since I've been playing for like 4+ years, and not because I have exploited everything the game has to offer in 6 months of rushing content down my brain.

    So kudos to all of you non-veteran Tenno that play like pros. /bow /salute

    So... if I have money (1) and want to put it into this game, where is the actual hardcore challenge? (2) Not even the grind is a challenge, only long and boring timewalls.(3)

    Whale asking (1) where the content to shine is (2).

    He or she actually wants the game to be P2W, but after spending time in the game came to realize that there is no P2W but instead you need to actually play. (3)

    Clever twisting, if you don't read between the lines.

    20 min for 1.01%chance.

    ok....I'm a casual, and even I know to allocate no less than a day when I'm farming something I really want.

    If you only have that whole 20 mins to play, pray to RNGesus, thats your only choice.

  11. @Ced23Ric Welcome back fellow Tenno.

    I joined way past your Prime, but as an old timer, your feelings are normal among gamers on all games. If you read the forums often, there are lots of players going through the same feelings, even after so much improvement. You just happen to step out and grown, come back home and to see how your old neighborhood has grown as well. It does brings a sense of pride for both you and the developers.

    I think I play more just to see moments like this more than actually play games anymore. /cheers

    You didn't clarify the question, you changed it. Based on OP's response above where he was asked if he meant 'buying' or 'using' in his original question in the title of the thread, a more correct clarification would be:

    If every player removed the buying condition, would love to see them trading.

    So answer is no, as outside of players purchasing plat in order to trade/traders waiting for players to purchase plat to get such plat , there is very few way to obtain enough slots.

    Edit:

    Just correcting myself.

    In reality, you only need plat to obtain and keep them all, you can still obtain them all, level them up and discard as needed. Waste of Warframes, but possible to do without purchase of platinum.

  13. Clarifying OP question (sorry DE - still love you):

    Can you actually get every Warframe in the game (Papa Excalibur excluded of course) without the use of platinum, even if you are given unlimited time to farm it all.

    Answer: NO

    Game doesn't offer Warframe slots but in few rare situations, so you might get at best 7 Warframe slots total (Nightwave/Anniversary/milestone?maybe) in a few years from now without using plat.

  14. 26 minutes ago, Firetempest said:

    You can trade prime parts and mods/materials for plat in trades now so it's really more free now than it ever was.

    People need to stop saying that. Like plat appears from thin air.
    That being said, thank you to those who support the game for giving f2p gamers means to get by, and keep this game alive.

    Sorry misunderstanding i thought you were talking about op picture. The 288,015 could be seen as ambiguous i thought that was what you were talking about.

    I am talking about the picture. They are using DE actual data and changed it to benefit them by changing separator position and using commas.

    288,015 on their bot is actually the rounded highlighted part of "avg": 288.01492537313,

    Thats why I said that toolmakers/builders are using it to rip players off.

  16. 37 minutes ago, (PS4)joehan1287 said:

    In the Image the comma is the decimal separator and not the thousand separator. Just look at the Population number and the Riven stats in the text the comma is clearly a dezimal separator. Wikipedia link to use of dezimal symbol in other countries: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decimal_separator

    Read the entry again. every line ends at a comma, so it is not a decimal separator,  the used separator at the pop it is not a comma, stop using poor excuses to rip off players. Good to see you are on board with it.

    (unless you are telling me that min is 35k, max 1250k to make that avg 288k - didnt think so)

  17. Interesting @YandereWaifu

    itemType": "Shotgun Riven Mod",
    		"compatibility": "EXERGIS",
    		"rerolled": true,
    		"avg": 288.01492537313,
    		"stddev": 241.56439718259,
    		"min": 35.0,
    		"max": 1250.0,
    		"pop": 0.1843

    punctuation by toolmakers can be used against market I see (unless you are telling me that min is 35k, max 1250k to make that avg 288k - didnt think so)

    Edit: Since some seem to think that the comma is a decimal separator, read the entry, every line ends at a comma, and pop: 0.1843 already establishes that (.) is the actual decimal separator. Stop trying to rip players off, it is sad.
