  1. Like the title said since the Warframes have Sentinels and companions. Why not let Operators when they go out of their Warframe to fight bring a Companion?

    I notice Palladino having her Kavat with her as a plain human, so I wondered if its possible at some point for Operators bring companions...

    It can be unlock through maybe a quest in the new open world content, you can even add arcanes for the Companions Assigned to Operator, etc

    There can even be special Companions that can only be use BY the operator like the Birds Condroc or that Rat Rabbit thing Kuaka in the Plains of Eidolon? EVEN the FISH!!! LOL I'm joking but you get the idea... :crylaugh:

    As our operator grows up and gains more Tenno powers through the hunting of Eidolons and quest this seems like a good way to expand.

    What about Companions dying? Ok so Operators can die just as fast or more BUT with a Companion LINK to Transference if the Operator dies or the companion dies it just banishes and you can just pop back out also the link Transfer can make you both stronger! So NO MORE COMPANION DYING, at least if its link to operator. 

     

    SO you go out with your Sentinel and its wonderful Vacumm and when you summon the operator he can bring a companion with its own abilities? 2 Birds with one stone right? Or am I wrong? 

    What do you think? Good Idea or Bad idea?

I have notice specially in the plains how strong enemies can get... but I only get down when I get pin between enemies on the plains when they drop on me and even then, if you react fast enough you can back-flip or parkour your way out. Or try to switching to melee which is by far the best way to block damage when your dodging space is limited at least until you can escape. Other than that if your play style is just standing and shoot enemies with your God Weapon I can totally see why or how someone is just gonna die quick and totally understand the frustration. 

    On that Note: One thing I will say is that DE needs to take a look at when Warframes are using melee and try to reflect the damage back, its seem to not scale at all, in the past I remember you could actually kill high level enemies just by blocking and reflecting their attacks back at them with just a few drain in shields or life, now your energy, shields and life drops so fast that even if you Mod to reflect damage, have full mod energy and use channeling you still go down, with the enemy barley having a scratch on them.

    This. I know the lore behind it but I still see them as bio-mechanical armors that resemble someone who might have been the original and then got mass produce or something like that. My Operator is male so yeah... his not wearing ladies clothing, his not that kind of operator. :crylaugh: (joking)

Honestly, I'm actually surprise they haven't expanded the Helminth Charger to be his own thing instead of another type of Kubrow race... also the armors on him in general look odd to a point of looking just like its bugged. I think DE haven't really touch the companions much let alone the cosmetics of it. Maybe by the time Helminth gets Primed with Nidus we might see some love for it. 

  5. I do I agree that Loki does need a look... the power 2 and 4 are by far the most use and the decoy and switch teleport are very situational. I like your ideas it seems to make his situational powers less well... situational. lol :satisfied:

    True I agree. He is by far the most perfect warframe. I even have him mod to do most of what I suggested lol. Melee auto-parry/reflect/retribution modify with a Radial Disarm that confuses as I found that his other abilities seem to work and last just fine without modes. Since Loki is so fast I quickly learned that I was constantly doing melee kills as enemies usually where in reach by the time I ran into them

    I just wish reflect was more effective, it seems that after the channeling update it's reflected damage was greatly reduce, that OR, the shields and life goes down way quicker than the reflected damage even if channeling, I notice also it doesn't add any part of your melee damage to the reflected damage but I think that's intended, still useful thought. Anyway it was just a suggestion... I still enjoy Loki as it is and if any change comes Ill still use him... he just looks too cool to be left on the bench and also I love playing in very impractical ways even my favorite weapons are usually the most archaic choosing bow/throw weapons and preferably Glaive or some cool but odd choice for melee, I was so happy how DE started to add special mechanics for such weapons it was like the perfect union between the weapons of old with the future of tomorrow. :satisfied:

    Well, Soul Punch is kinda useless, even with the mod that Resurrect down players (IMO it should do that without the mod but that's just me). I notice that all rag doll enemies don't take colliding damage and almost no fall damage. You can't blast or even cast it, on lot of thing specially in the plains... Flying Grineer, Automated machinery weapons or any kind of flying ship/drone, that obviously include the Eidolon. I thoght adding a draining even would make it more useful... it be great if one could drain to a point of draining Eximus or Nullifying bubbles and through back at the enemy or use it to help your self or teammates. Still its really cool to blast the annoying Nox of a cliff into the horizon! lol

    Well I only suggested this because of how the original Proto Excalibur (In the Dark Sectors Universe) use to be, he was a master of the Glaive not the sword in that world, his infestation gave him the ability to summon a Special Glaive, I think his Chromatic Sword Mod takes inspiration of that as his glaive naturally took up elements from the environment.

    OOOOOOOOoooo I like the way you think! With so many Oberon Parts constantly dropping re-purposing such a wasted resource would make sense. Imagine the FIRST cosmetic skin you get to build Oberon the Destroyer Delux skin! I know its against the lore... but then again if its a Proto Skin anything can go with the lore... maybe he was a Infested Juggernaut, destroying the forest it until it was defeated and re-built as a protector? :surprised:

    SO true! I hope DE can figure a good solution in the future about Companions. God I have invested so much forma in my Helminth Charger to be REALLY STRONG and he is actually, but to no avail he gets down just as well, also I notice that in the Eidolon Fight and even in the Plain they AI seems a bit wacky sometimes they just stand there doing nothing and taking hits. Not even mentioning the fact that Sentinels have Vacuum and Self-revive, there was even a Mod that would sacrifice it to revive you if you got downed! If that mod still was active that would make it even more difficult to even consider companions. He makes a good decoration in my Orbiter though as a pet. My hope is that by the time Nidus Primes comes up and Helminth Charger gets some Prime attention that companion vs sentinels is over, because if my Charger Gets PRIME I don't care if its useful or not Im sooooooo taking him with me everywhere I'm to much of a fan on how original and beautiful the Orokin Prime stuff looks! Does will be dificult time but its all for the endgame of Fashion Frame!!! (LOL joking) :crylaugh:

    Lol you might be right about that! GOD does things are terrifying and they be the perfect assassin predator the plains seems to be missing. I notice there are no real dangerous wild life, no lions or wolfs or even bears, not even wild kavats and kubrows... only at night do we see "something attacking us" and their just sentient not real wildlife. Hmmm maybe DE should add invasions to the Plains like infestation or Corpus fighting Grineer or different events beyond the Ghouls bounties? Can you imagine in day time, fighting Ghoulish Vay Hek Boss with a ghoul army? OH or a full scale Infested invasion where, JORDAS GOLEM flying in the plains commanding LEPHANTIS who commands a PHORID with a pact of Juggernauts and infested running through the plains? Or even a Corpus Invasion with a bunch of Corpus machine bosses and a Corpus army fighting Vay Hek Grineer army where the player in the plains decide on the spot who to help as the bosses try to persuade you to their side. Invasion on the plains would sure be something else!! Ahhh one can only dream because I think it be a nightmare for DE to program in game... though it would help break the normal routine in the plains. Then again with DE on the job anything is possible I have been led to believe over the years of playing Warframe, possibility are endless!!

     

    Thank you for taking the time to read it and give your feed back you made really brought up a good realistic points of views about it and sorry I took sooo long to reply, when I connect I been aiming all my efforts to rank up my arcane and doing Edilon hunting gathering or fishing as I want to be ready for Venus map, also I'm a bit worried that Eidonlon would not be hunted as much when new content comes up. So I want to make sure I'm ready! After Tennocon all will be clear... Ooooo the suspense is killing me! :shocked:

  7. Suggestion for Loki: My personal favorite Waframe right now. Yet I wish sometime he had more of an impact on all missions and not be just a situational Warframe IMO. The power of the Void has many powers that are frightening and also unnatural to a point that can drive a whole crew mad to kill each other and create mistrust... With Loki this is a terrifying reality as he embodies the best and worst qualities of the void it self. Using the power of the Void Loki can create Echos not only of himself but of others to manipulate the battlefield, becoming invisible at will or parting it to others and creating Echoes of himself and allies to create chaos and distrust among his enemies like a deadly game, just like in the past the Void did for Zariman Ten Zero long ago to its crew but chose to spare its children. So here goes... 

    Decoy: I only suggest to enhance its function. Instead of just creating a default hologram with some standard gun, why not make a "Specter Clone" that actually looks like the caster Loki Warframe. 
    What if he moves around or Follows me? Well he can't his AI will be allow to function and move around a mark area, this mark area will also function as a stage where you can use "Switch Teleport" so you don't really have to depend on switching with the Clone Specter only. IF you switch with the Clone Specter you will also be moving the mark area with the clone. The area of effect of this power and its range or how long it last will be determined by mods. As long as this power last the Loki who cast it will become invisible until time runs out or until the Specter Clone dies. 
    "Marking a Enemy Target or a Friendly unit or Team member" will make them invisible and the Specter Clone will be of that of the Ally instead of you. If it was an enemy you will transform the enemy as you making it hostile to all around him, the enemies keeps behaving as such with its equip weapon and its own abilities the only change will be cosmetic. This action requires more that one click of the power for confirmation.

    Switch Teleport:  This power is where the real chaos of of the God of lies and Mischief begins and the why this warframe was named "Loki".  The power remains the same but with a few deadly exceptions... 


    Switching with an ally will make that ally invisible while Loki will take the appearance of that ally "only difference will be his powers, weapons and energy color. But doing this with and enemy will result in the same for your shape shift with the exception of these few suggestions for it...

     
    1) Enemy becomes teleported with a Radiation proc, confuse, vulnerable to a finisher or friendly fire or if its weak, it will appear as pile of dead broken dismembered flesh as Loki Switches the stress of this, may cause the enemies body as void energy pulls with relentless force in the teleport, ripping it apart.


    2) You become the enemy and they are not able to damage you for the duration of the efect, all locks will be as if they were unlock and alarms will not work and you can pass them with no fear of being knock down or detecte becuse it recognize you a authorise personal. The caster and friendly players will see a ghostly glow around the friendly Loki that will make them recognize the effect. Same goes if they are under it themselves, but can only be one active effect at a time.


    Swiching  Teleport has very small AoE (its range, duration or strenght can be affecte by mods) that can be cast anytime in battle that has different functions:


    1) If your being bombarded by a barrage of melee attacks or a rain of bullets/missile or even a persistent damage Aura, for the duration of the spin it will reflect it back at your attacker with 2x their initial damage combine with your own Power Strength. This can be further enhance with mods like Reflection • Reflex Guard • Retribution, not to mention the range, duration and strength mods. 


    2) Switching with a object that has a health bar like an Exploding container will result in you moving to that location and detonating to explode at your location and making yourself invisible for a short time.


    Radial Disarm: Only thing I will add to this is that upon activation this ability for the duration of it, will make everyone look like the Caster Loki and its teammates while at the time making them look like the targeted enemy team or invisible if its to hard to implement. Also Loki will draw out shoulder blades of Void energy that can look like "energy looking tonfa Kronen" that will make him parry all attacks with 0 damage taken and will set enemies up for finishers or if parried a range attack return the damage and prone targets to a finisher.

    New passive: Loki will treat all melee weapons as if they where equip with Covert Lethality and have reduce range where enemies can spot him.

    Nekros Soul Punch: This power should be change to "Soul Steal"
    Soul Steal should do what it says Steal the soul of an enemy KEEP it and use it to heal allies or consume it to heal your self if not use in the limited time kept, much like Broken Scepter does to dead Organic enemies (such as Lancers) will release Health Orbs, while robotic enemies (such as MOAs) will release Energy Orbs. Instead Robotics will restore shields Sentient will restore Energy and organics will restore Health, as it will directly suck it from the target and if you wish to use it as a weapon and Punch an enemy with it, depending on the enemy suck in initially, was Organic Flesh it will do Viral Proc, while if its was a Robotic it will do a Magnetic Proc, if it was Infested it will do Gas Proc, if it was Sentient it will do Radiation Proc, if its Corrupted it would do Corrosive Proc but only to the initial target... besides the normal Push back and knock down of other enemies near the target (These Status proc are also activated on the main target who original was suck out of its energy). The Damage taken by Soul Steal and Soul Punch can be augmented by the corresponding strength, duration or range mods.

     

    Delux Skins Visuals for powers are a Must have:
    Excalibur Proto-Armor - Exalted blade could be "EXALTED GLAIVE" he pulls out a Giant energy Proto-Glaive that he hurls to enemies instead of the normal blade waves.


    Nekros Irkalla Skin - Change Shadows of the Dead to Hollow (or Echos) of the Dead, Shadows of the Dead look like Translucent Specters with added ghostly flames just like the Irkalla Skin has on it and his Scythe.
    The list could go on but I think DE already agreed that they love to work on Delux skins this way, not to mention all the great suggestions the community bring up all the time related to this... I mean we have Rhino Delux looking like energy covering him and I really would like to see more of this expanded to all the Delux Skins.


    Suggestion for Oberon Delux Skin: We already have seen Oberon as the Paladin in his default Warframe skin and his Druid side in his Feyarch skin. Why not give him a skin as a Fallen Paladin or Blackguard where he looks like a Demonic Black Knight and powers look like dark flames from hell or something dark? Maybe for hallowing skins? 

    Operator: This is more of a question than a suggestion that came to me as I Hunted the Eidolon Sentient so please bare with me and take it as either of these...
    Since we (Operator) have AMPS created from what apperars to be Sentient Tech. Is it possible that Sentients true Purpouse was to help enchance Tenno Operator them selves?
    If this is true taking into account that Sentient CAN survive in space... Honhow enhancing Stalker and even [De]Steve mention we getting at some point Sentient Cannon Arm to use....Does this mean maybe that we can at some point in the future:


    1) As we explore other planets and Hunt other Sentient Horrors, our operator will be enhance with gear and armor bits like we have on our hand, the AMPS
    Example:
    We go to Venus and hunt the Sentient Monster roaming there get its cores and rep and built and AMP Shield/Gaive/Sword weapon to enhance our melee combat as Operator.
    We go to Uranus and get AMP archwing to use operator underwater and in space... we go to Eris the infested Homeworld and we get protective adaptive AMP armor bits similar to the Stalker has that helps us adapt to strong aura/toxic/Disruption fields as an Operator. Etc, Etc...?


    By the time we Find Lotus or Rescue her we are full grown Adults not only masters of our Warframes but Tenno Warriors ourselves capable and powerful enough to fight an the Immortal Orokin or anything for that matter.


    Note: Yes I want operator to finally have full Grown Big Muscular Bodies or Sexy bodies or just normal looking bodies maybe even fat or chubby looking too, hell why not! (I personally find then very attractive! :laugh:) You know, like how each one of our Warframes  is unique (Option on this would be very cool like making an operator look buff like Rhino or as Sexy as Ember/Nyx) Voice to match such grown up Tenno would be nice too.

    Helminth Charger: Right now this Companion seems to only have very few things to make him different from a Kubrow, but it also makes sense since we hatch it from a Kubrow egg combining it with the Helminth Cyst? So what if we could feed him DNA to enhance or change its abilities or functions. Infestations best trait its its rapid evolution.
    Example: Now that his fully grown we can use Kavat DNA to change his behavior and powers.

    OR:
    Get him Wildlife DNA (Desert Skate, Fish or any Plains Wildlife) it could becomes an Expert hunter, flying, swiming or even when feeded Sentient cores he gain special atribute to fight an Eidolon! Now imagine if you manage to get DNA or feed it Brilliant Cores from the any of the Eidolon's of the Plains... what abilities could it get!
    How to get DNA? You scan them... even fish can be scan, and with a Helios that should not be a problem. SUGGESTION: Ones you have the full scan of Wildlife you can replicate the DNA just as you replicate a Blueprint. So you don't have to go scan again the beasts.
    Also as a Suggestion this could be expanded to Faction enemies and robots... As the infestation have been seem to adapt to it. Imagine your Hemilith charger behaving and having weapons like the Hyena Pact does! Or throw tiny exploding Rollers from its hide OR throw Spikes like the Juggernaut or have the healing aura of an Ancient Infested or mimic  aura of an Eximus or even mimic one or two boss abilities would it be epic, right?


    Companions in general, suggestion in the Open World: They SHOULD be the main choice to bring with us and have additional AI behavior added to them beyond mods or its diferent types, like Kavat naturally catching fish... Kubrows hunting animals scratching out Ore and Gems and bringing its resources to you. Helminth Charger good at killing and absorbing Sentient cores/oro/energy (powers the lures) OCULYST, BATTALYST, CONCULYST or VOMVALYST. Imagine you hunting the Eidolon and your companions basically jump at it not letting it shot at you or not cast some abilities or even chomping away its shields or even mowing down its weak points in mid air not letting go?
    I know Sentinels with their Vacuum basically is the best choice for everything... but if Companions did a bit more Im sure that would not be the case at least not in an Open World Scenario.

    Fisher Hai-Luk talks at us about "some unspecable horrors in the waters of the Plains"
    I suggest you expand on that, Maybe meeting the terrifying Organic versions of the "Golden Maws" or Hydroid creature from the deep for us to hunt would be great addition when hunting in the plains or fishing in the waters... can you imagine you relaxing fishing and suddenly a Beast like the GOLDEN MAW or Hydroid creature from the deep grabs you and takes you underground or underwater to fight and kill or be killed! They be like the Plains Assassin but since its wildlife DE could add it that it also attacks and kills Grineer and then WE get the JUMP ON it instead!!!! Oh it be terrifying but existing!!!! This is where the suggestion of companions would shine the best as they defend us and as we ready ourselves to fight or flee!

    That is all folks! lol

    This are all suggestion and crazy ideas I acomulated in my spare time under my circumstances and as so I did not add any numbers or details of how to implement it in game so it be balance, but I'm sure the talented Community Tenno and DE have their ways to see how it could work if they find any of these ideas any good.

  8. Hmm I'm in on this, Loki needs to be look at... to he seems to be lacking in offensive capabilities and his switch should do more like you said. I would not mind if DE reworks him like they did with other Warframes like Excalibur. Make him full Trickster of the battle field like his name of Loki implies (God of Mischief). Literally making the battlefield of the any enemy chaotic and confusing! 

  9. Here is an Idea: May be Endgame should be "Public PvEvPvP" Where you can use a Assassin unite of any faction to kill other players doing missions. You need to gear the Assassin up in order to take out even the strongest Warframes teams? That would entertain many, I think.

    Also this should be an optional mode: PvP is not very popular in Warframe last time I heard.

    Crazy Idea: Let operator take possession of other specific Faction unites for special missions instead of always possessing a warframe? Or use Clone Clem and augment him with DNA or gear from other factions to do missions? :crylaugh:

That's why i think it's important that it is adressed; make enemies stronger/more inteligent, stop letting people just run through the monster hurdles to get the the distraction point. Some missions are really just about who can jump the fastest to the finish....

    This game has so much potential, but I think this is the obvious reason why destiny is still more popular (and i'm not a destiny fanboy; not even going to play destiny 2).

    I just hope that someone will pick up on this thread and will adress it...

    Still digging the game after all!

    Have you done Nightmare missions, sorties or the Kuva lv 100 ones, Derelics with Dragon, Blood etc. keys equip? The Raid content? Even trying to do the Riven Challenges to unveil them is a way to see how really competent you are...

    I personally try to use the parkour and movement skills to improve my kills scores, focusing more on the headshots, melee kills and minimal to no percentage of damage I get in missions. FOcusing on bows, throwing weapons and mostly Glaives or claws/daggers/Tonfas for melee. Since usually that impresses me the most when I play with other players as Big kills scores are mostly achieved by anyone with big guns or Cheese warframes, I really admire Talented technical players skill when I met them on the field so I set myself to imitate that playstyle.

    Or when Im bored I try to get more kills than a Full Powered Ember (or any other one tap one shot kill Warframe or weapons) with her "Cheese World on fire" or any other warframe that only spams to get all the kills in reach... Its actually satisfying to compete with an overpowering powerful players with all my handicaps mention and win even better. I learn than from a very skill player that took it as a hobby...he was cool and really friendly, until a "Cheeser" as he called them, pop up then he got all silent and competitive it was hilarious but really humbling experience, I always wondered if he was a DE in a normal account. (Yeah Im talking about you I know you read this type of posts :highfive:)

    Anyway point is, there are plenty of ways to challenge yourself if you care to explore them... DE has made it possible to explore all types of playstyles or even missions. Just try whichever is more fun for you. Hope it helps, don't give up on Warframe, happy hunting tenno! :satisfied:

  11. I never unveil them, I use them for plat or trade them for rare mods... even though they are the endgame ultimate mods (if you get good stats). RNG has always been a kryptonite to me in every online game I have played and apparently there is no real solution to it that would appease the masses of players in any game, so I try to do minimum rng as possible resigned to any rng I met in any game I play or try to find a steady way I might get the same result without it.

    So to me they are a steady way to Trade be it plat, rare mods or prime parts, for now. If the RNG factor changes or diminishes to a point it's not so toxic to me (joking, Im exaggerating but you get my sentiment) , in the future I might invest in it, like I done with other things DE has change in the past.

    Yeah, agreed with this. Its the truth. I think sometime we might see this as an event from time to time, but I don't think it will be a schedule thing as its a source of income as our fellow tenno pointed out. It be nice though. 

  13. Now this is something we need, a way to reward skill play style players, who actually want to ninja instead of going full mindless commando that make no effort to dodge or even move from hits! I hope DE reads this.  Great idea mate. :highfive:

    Hmmm it be great addition but it would fit best the Helminth Charger since his all about infestation and it be cool if it show some sort of animation of trying to consume or absorb the energy of its victims... then spread healing spores that heal him and nearby allies, poisoning enemies, etc...well, anything goes when it's infested stuff. Good idea though. 

  15. Are Riven suppose to be some type of endgame reward for the hardcore Warframe player base? You know, sugar coded with RNG, with layers upon layers of RNG, with a center of RNG, with a pitch of RNG and blessed by RNGesus for Best RNG results? So the hardcore players could spend their lifetime trying to get the best stats from the RNG? lol

    Joking aside, I use them for trade or platinum, I myself don't bother to try them when I have other more "dependable" mods to do endgame content... This Riven complain has been since they were released... even though I understand your distress over it I don't think it will get a change anytime soon. But as a fellow tenno I will comfort you and all the others crying about Riven RNG. Here is my Riven Hug Mod Special, may it comfort you on your dark times: :crylaugh:

  16. I have to admit that companions feel a bit...off when you bring them with you, after being use to playing only with sentinels. After DE introduce Helminth Chargers I finally decided to try companions as I am a fan of the unique look of the Warframes, Sentinel and now I had a companion that had that look too. To make story short Im 6 forma it...and probably will have to go for a 7th... and his strong, like SUPER strong, with most its mods rank 10, at rank 9. Yet with all its power I was expecting an AI like Zanuka or Hyena ( they kinda jump and hold themselves to walls or ceilings and shoot stuff) or maybe a bit of a Hybrid between a Sentinel and Kubrow/Kavat? You know, a bit like watered Juggernaut etc...

    But that was my only disappointment, as I DE Steve was right companions are really strong if you put effort into maxing them up. My hope is that by the time Nidus gets Primed, the Helminth Charger also gets its Prime form accesories and DE takes a look at it at that point or before and makes him a bit more unique and not so similar to a Kubrow/Kavat in AI behaviour combat... 

    I think Sentinel is "easy lazy mode" and "companions" are for more "active hardcore players" who like to work for their drops... lol  :crylaugh:

    On a more serious note I think it's more of play style and choice than anything else... Just like there are players who like using Excalibur Spam 4 or Embers Cheese, World On Fire, to kill everything, while other players choose to work for their kills and headshot through skill instead, using more tactical Warframes and weapons. Or like Riven vs Primed Mods vs Normal Mods... you can still beat anything with the right the combination mods and weapons, you don't need to Riven or Primed to be effective in missions.(I honestly enjoy when I meet both players in the same group as it seems their playstyle its at odds and competing with each other, like a silent duel of who can kill the most before the mission is over... To my surprise skilled players almost always beat the spammers and cheesy ones hands down... but sometimes both have rage quit either way, I learn from both, mostly form the skilled ones, but the spammers sometime bring some cool tricks too) lol

    Anyway, unless DE changes its mind I think its a choice in play style nothing else...and to me choice is good.
