Also, with the recent announcement of Round 13 and no skins from me inside, this imply I will have a bunch of rework to do on my previous skins, so probably no new stuff for a while 😧

To work on a skin, I need some motivation and the first one is being able to use it and being proud of it.
The 3 mains things that prevent this are :

    • I don't like his powers, so don't really use the said warframe.
    • His body is not interesting to work with in my opinion.
    • It join the previous point but isn't exactly the same : the said warframe have a deluxe skin that I would prefer over anything I can do with the default body shape.

So, how I previously said, I won't work on Ash, Banshee and Trinity unless we can use the deluxe body as base model to work on.

I need this in my life.

  2. I remember hearing on a video that something was gonna change with ayatans with the sacrifice, and I'm wondering if that was true? I've been stockpiling them a bit since I heard that, and just wanna know if I should keep doing so or not. I don't want to know what they're for or anything I just wanna know if they're needed for something related to the sacrifice.

Is it just me or are prime syandanas just getting worse?

now I think these are all the previous syandanas that we've had, and most of them actually look pretty nice except for the noru. the thing is all of these include complex shapes and attributes or at least a really nice energy effect like the pyra or citadella prime. None of these are flat plain boring capes, they all look interesting for their own reasons except for vIaClGX.jpg&key=36784c03d9e181a96d4d83c7

OBLIVIA PRIME (thanks Nightmare for the pic). this flat boring mass of play dough can hardly be called a prime syandana. It doesn't even have a prime channelling effect or nice energy details to make up for the fact that its buttugly. it sucks that its so ugly because I've always wanted a prime sigil but im' not willing to pay 60$ for this even if I get a decent amount of plat along with it. Still, its physics are nice but they feel wasted on this thing. I mean cycuta prime syandana had ferociously ugly physics but at least it looked nice. anyways, thanks for reading. I hope that chroma prime access looks great!

Agreed, it should've been much longer and had that really nice silky cape effect to it instead with all the gold accents, it would have been a guaranteed buy for a lot of people.

It was, and still is, broken.

Like I'd call not being able to change Warframe configuration broken. R1 and L1 don't work. Try clicking on the config with cursor and the cursor jumps to the warframe name at the top of the screen. It kept happening to me last night. Very annoying.

X often decides it ain't gonna do anything for whatever reason.

I do appreciate that what Microsoft and Sony deem broken might be different to me though.

Regardless, it was that super quick update 24 hours later that really made me wonder about this whole cert thing.

Also worth mentioning first Plague Star rotation being bust (relic never changed) on both PC and consoles. Why? Who knows.

Sony and Microsoft consider broken as unplayable or console bricking. Yeah there's still bugs with the cursor but it's far from broken, I have almost 0 issues with any of the stuff you mentioned and a lot of others don't either, they just don't like it cause it's different and not as twitchy and dpad spammy as before.

I just really hope they get this one out soon, I've already had some things spoiled and I'm getting pissed cause I wanted this to be the first time I don't just immediately go watch a video for it to find out about it. But of course people are awful and post threads with spoilers right in the title or have no spoiler tags and ruin it for everyone. There should be an option where any thread containing [spoilers] in its title should only say that and nothing else of you choose.

  5. My god, you founders who hate on umbra are almost as bad as the ones who used to be up in arms about not getting prime 😂 I used to be one of them, but Umbra looks way better and he comes with an (I'm hoping) awesome quest so you can take your shiny prime and cry all you want, nothing's gonna change, just like they didn't for the far bigger crowd who complained about prime.

  6. Void damage really is underwhelming when you think of the fact that most everything in the game fears the void and void energy so much, it see it as an all powerful thing. First thing is it should ignore armor and shields, this alone would make it amazing in most content and make operators be so much more useful. That said, the bullet attractor proc is boring and more of a nuisance than anything. I think a better idea would be to have it work like nova material prime and make them take a little more damage and explode upon death, or even just release small pulses of health for operators to give them a tiny bit more survivability without being forced into using vazarin for the heals.

all i can see is "*whinning noises* give us update first so we can brag about it"

You must have failed reading comprehension in every here if that's what you see. I literally said that I understand why most updates are delayed, and that the sacrifice was one piece that should be out on all platforms at the same time, nothing in there about us getting it before you.

  8. 1 minute ago, LazerSkink said:

That would mean intentionally holding the update for PC players and not allowing us to find bugs they missed. No one benefits.

Having everyone on an even playing field for a piece of content as big as this isn't benefiting anyone? So what if they have to push a little bit now to get the bugs fixed, they still would be showing the console players that they're not just an afterthought.

  9. 15 minutes ago, Miser_able said:

They physically cannot update console at the same time because of the cert process. Blame Sony and Microsoft.

They can have it ready and sent to cert and approved before they let pc have it. It's not that hard. They just don't do it.

This is the way it has always been thanks to sony and microsoft, not DE. Stop whinging and just be patient.

Hope this thread gets closed soon. Meta-compaints don’t help anyone.

It's not just them, it's the fact that DE doesn't even start getting it ready to send to Sony and Microsoft until it's been out on PC already, they could have the console build being done at the same time so they could at least get it into cert when it hits pc, that way we'd be waiting a couple days versus a couple weeks to a month.

    13 minutes ago, LordOfScrugging said:

the only way they could update at the same time would be to hold pc's updates back. That won't happen. wanna blame anyone, blame sony/microsoft. Also, make sure you don't spoil yourself, go out of town for a while after the update launches

Yeah cause we should blame the console makers for DE not even starting to port it until it's out on PC... And yeah everyone can just take a vacation for an entire month so they don't have the update spoiled...

    12 minutes ago, Cook-EN- said:

It's not DE's fault. Sony and Microsoft have to approve the update first. Also, do you really want hundreds of bugs on release day? PC players are the ones who have to experience all the bugs. Console has the finished, much less buggy version.

I'd rather deal with some more bugs than usual if it means i don't have to stop going on the forums and YouTube and unlike the warframe Facebook page and everything just so the quest isn't ruined like the second dream and the war within were.

  10. Look, I get that for most updates there will be a delay. That's fine, I understand. But DE, why in Lotus' name are you doing this to console Tenno? The Sacrifice is the single most anticipated and hyped up piece of content Warframe has ever seen, and has been hyped up for longer than any other piece of content. Something this big being released on PC first is just a giant middle finger to a massive portion of your playerbase. So now us console Tenno are going to be forced into total media blackout, forced to not touch YouTube, the forums, and Facebook groups and pages, or else have this ruined for us completely.

I know there are going to be elitists and spit out the generic "play on PC then" "that's what you get for playing on console" "be lucky DE even updates consoles at all" etc, but you have to admit that this is a bad move all around. Alienating such a huge number of players is never a good idea, and for people like me, switching to pc isn't and never will be an option unless they allow every single piece of content I own on my account to transfer over. I've invested far too much time and money to start over, and there's plenty of people like me out there. Telling us "sorry you're not special enough, you get to wait another month or more while the rest of the players get to enjoy this massive piece of content and lore" is just not smart.

I love you guys DE but you gotta realize how much your insulting us by making us wait for The Sacrifice.

pretty much what Ive been saying the entire time since yesterday. We dont need a frame who life steals. We got enough frames who can provide health. Eidolon frame works really well by itself. As for abilities. Im liking your ideas for his 1st ability. As for his rest of his kit. I would have to look at all the eidolon abilities before writing down my thoughts. My thoughts of his 4th would be similar to Starfall. Thats where the Eidolon shoots a beam up into the air and all destructive beams falls down.

I was thinking that too for the 4th, but I thought it was a little too similar to mirages 4th, just stationary. Although it would be cool, and much more powerful.

    25 minutes ago, .LeiA._ said:

Cool ideas ! I like it. But why not change the 2nd skill to the 4th skill. That skills seems better CC than that orbs skill. When the waves homes in, it pulls enemies to Vlad.

4th skills sounds like Nova's Antimatter Orb, but with aggro and more orbs.

I suppose, the main differences are that it doesn't move and doesn't require enemies or allies to shoot it to power it up. I got the idea from the hydrolist ability, but I think the raining lasers is probably a better idea.

  12. I think having them drop from the eidolons is fine, as long as they not a low drop, as anything else you're not locked into certain time frames for them. I think it should go like this: each of the 3 can give a certain part, but if none of them drop one, you get a single one at random guaranteed at the end of the run like any other boss. It still leaves time as a factor but not punishingly so. Then since that would be a little too easy, have the sentient gems, eidolon cores and shards all be required to build him.

  13. Right now, vlad/revenant feels like a really odd mish mash of other frames with a really cool look to him. With how awesome he looks he  needs his powers to be more unique and more based on his theme.

First things first drop the vampire aspect, the eidolon part works fine as it's own theme. Putting both a vampire and eidolon theme into one just sounds like there's no room to really let either be good without one overtaking the other or making it feel it of place.

Second, his passive. I feel like given his eidolon theme, he should feel more like one. I was thinking maybe make his health pool fairly small compared to most, but then have him have "synovia stacks" that when he "dies" he explodes with energy and gets back up. These would start at 1 at rank 0 and move up to 4 at 30. They would also slowly come back over time, say 1 per 2 minutes or so, based on ability duration maybe?

Third, the rest of his abilities. In keeping with the eidolon theme, here's my ideas for him.

1: vomvalite- summons 1/2/3/4 small vomvalyst lookalikes that hover around you and draw fire while also acting as mini sentinels. Casting again when aiming at teammates sends one of them to give them a shield boost similar to a shield osprey.

2: eidolon crush- his energy arm changes into a giant eidolon limb and slams the ground, sending out a damaging shockwave like the eidolons stomp attack, and then a few seconds of those waves that home in from the arm slam.

3: eidolons call- lets out a cry that buffs all allies damage and speed, vomvalites that are active at the time will also become stronger and more aggressive.

4: eidolon force- summons 1/2/3 giant energy orbs that draw aggro in a certain range before exploding, knocking all enemies in range down and dealing a ton of damage.

EDIT: instead, make it like the gantulyst laser rain, with more lasers, longer duration, and have it spin faster with each rank.

This would make his eidolon theme more apparent and really actually cool while making him a decent aggressive dps with a bit of support and cc mixed in, as well as a cool extra survival mechanic.

As for his name, I think revenant is good, or maybe play off the eidolon theme even more and call him Zarilyst after the Zariman 10-0, the ship that started this all.

Well, making it worth it will be DE's job isnt it? This is what the definition of end game is. Something thats worthwhile for players that have fully experience the game excited to do.

Therein lies the problem though, if it's good then they're locking millions of players out of something they may never have even a chance at even at end game levels. But if it's not good enough then vets will whine about it not being enough for them. And right now as it stands, new and casual players take priority cause majority rule. This is a ftp loot centered game, having any loot that's unobtainable except to the people who can't get a perfect group and everything together is bad and alienates the community. This is why wraith and vandal variants are so easy to get now, they used to be awarded for doing well in events, but they started allowing them to be gotten other ways because people were getting mad that there were weapons they couldn't get. I've still got my og gorgon wraith from one of the first ps4 events, as well as my wraith twin vipers and a ton more, they used to be badges of honor for those who kicked ass in those events, but now are just dished out to whoever is patient enough to grind for them in invasions.

So as much as you think it's a good idea, it's never gonna happen, it's been tried and it's failed horribly.

  15. Just now, Th3SteAk said:

I think the sanctuary idea needs more clearify. making it hard to cheese shouldn't be too hard for the DE devs to do. Moreover, require actual teamwork like healing and shielding timing and debuff timing will allow only the most skillful player to gain those exclusive gears.

It still is a bad idea, there's already a huge gap between the vets and the casual/new players, this would just further it and make most of the players who can't get there upset. The only thing that would be acceptable is a badge for their shoulder because anything else would cause the community would burn. Just ask anyone about the Excalibur prime/founders fiasco, or you actually can't because it's such a volatile subject that it guarantees a thread gets locked.

Also, onslaught is about killing things as fast as possible, that much coordination doesn't belong in that kind of mode. This is what the raids/trials were for and they were widely regarded as not worth it.

  16. 32 minutes ago, Th3SteAk said:

First off, I'm a new player that just started playing 2 weeks ago and after 150 hours I'm surprise by how empty the end-game feels. 9 frames, 18 weapons, and all the story mission finished later I found no aim and nothing to do besides being a treasure goblin that have collect addiction. I've seen some missopportunity on end game content that could and should be improve upon, and i would like to shed some light on it.

P.S. Feel free to correct my mistake, since im only 150 hours in I think I could possibly miss something.
P.P.s English isn't my native language, so the wording could be a little wanky

    Sanctuary onslaught

A huge miss opportunity. This mode is basically a glorify elimination at this point. This mode reminds me of diablo 3's greater rift but a dumb down and less rewarding version.

-Lower the rounds, 16 round is way too may and boring. And increase how many levels of onslaught we can pick (make it unlimited will be cool).

-Increase the difficulty from the start (level 30 is way too easy and slashing through under power enemies could also be really boring.). 7~8 rounds and end with a hard boss fight lot more fun and challenging. It also added an element of RNG (good bosses or bad bosses). Which could make players get extremely excited when they get the right boss, and break the record.

-Sanctuary specific mods (or other sanctuary specific upgrade) that can only be acquire from the mode. And it also supports the unlimited levels of sanctuary onslaught.

-Reward top 100 groups with exclusive gears.

Some may notice that I'm just suggesting the devs to add Greater rift from D3 to warframe. Funny enough, I am. Greater rift system is one of the greatest grinding system that's supporting the whole D3 game till this day. There are reasons why D3 veterans still occasionally return the game for the sole purpose of dominating the leaderboard again. It's not hard for people who reaches end game to gear up to a specific character to a specific build. However, when you added upgrades thats only specific to that game mode (For example: greater rift stones from D3)? It gives the grind a purpose.

    Plains of Eidolon

    Another miss-opportunity

Should've made the plain an open world where people can encounter other people. The fact that while I'm fighting this giant monster at night while there's only 3 squad member low-key kill the immersion. It is also the random encounters that make open world MMORPG great. After playing MMORPG for a long time. What i appreciate the most is when random people try to help out, or the other way around.

It just makes me sad that following encounters will never happen in plains of Eidolon.

-when you struggling with a hard bounty, a random guy decide to join and clear everything for you. Despite the fact he wont be awarded with any of your loots. You later DM that guy and you guys become friends.

-when you and your squad members are slowly withering down the sentient, more and more squad joins the fight. The tables turned and the boss was beaten down by 3 different squads that have never met.

-After encountering this same guy in Eidolon while fighting the sentient for many times. You guys started to talk and become friends.

Final thought: i think implementing something similar to Dark Zone from the division will also be awesome. Slaughtering other players and try to outrun the penalty/bounty just feel way too good. Feels like getting away from a crime you committed.

These are just my noob thoughts, plz dont nail me on the cross and burn me. :)

The sanctuary ideas are ok, except awarding top players with exclusive gear, all this will do is turn every group into a meta nightmare as every group fights to cheese as hard as humanly possible to get that stuff.

For pains as much as I understand your sentiment, it'll never happen for a few reasons. First, when you've reached end game the eidolons are such a joke you can kill all 3 of them multiple times a night cycle. Second, frame rates suffer horribly as it is with all those effects going on with just 4 players, and more would possibly just crash peoples games. Third, having an end game group just flying through killing everything in the plains would leave a lot of players upset and understandably frustrated that they don't get to do anything.
