  1. There was a change, that I didn't see in the patch notes, regarding the lower bound of the Melee Combo Duration stat for melee weapons. This change caps Combo Duration penalties to 0.1 seconds, rather than allowing Combo Duration to reach zero seconds. I suspect this change was made to prevent more "infinite 12x Heavy spam" builds from popping up, which I think is a fine way to attempt to squash those bugs into the future. That said, a side effect, maybe unintended, of this change is that Warframes with Exalted weapons can no longer benefit from using Melee Guidance to build Combo with a melee weapon that has Combo Duration modded onto it to make holding combo easier. This interaction allows Baruuk and Excalibur to more easily keep up their Combo, but this undocumented change breaks the interaction if you hit an enemy with the Exalted Melee itself rather than with just the waves from them. This interaction was really the only use case for Melee Guidance, besides the aforementioned "infinite 12x Heavy spam" setups, and it's a real shame to see it gone.

My simple suggestion is to remove the 0.1 second minimum Combo Duration stat from Exalted Weapons.

  2. I just experienced this bug myself. I didn't notice it at all until my redeemer stopped being able to damage reactors. My combo counter got to be 86x, and damage numbers on enemies were displaying an integer overflow. The enemies still died, but I couldn't deal damage to objects.

I think it also triggers on entering crewships, asteroid bases, anything you enter from your archwing.

  3. The Cobra and Crane appears to have some kind of visual aura around it that makes it look fuzzy. It extends very slightly beyond the actual visible model and it also makes things seen through it, such as a warframe's hand, appear fuzzy. Video of this below.

  4. I was using the Larkspur the other day, and suddenly the Held fire mode began using the visual effects of the Charge fire mode.

I recorded a video of this:

I am unsure what triggered it, and have been unable to replicate it since. But it caused noticeable audio/visual lag when I used my rapid-fire macro that just taps LMouse 20 times a second, and even just when I clicked quickly.

  5. I have nothing to add to this. You perfectly summarized my feelings on this nerf(let's call it what it is) that Ember received. A WoF build for Ember certainly does trivialize low-level content, but what doesn't? Many frames, built properly, make the content that Ember was intended for brainlessly easy. All this nerf serves to do is make a frame with a clear niche almost useless within that niche. I'm all for reworks that make the game more fun or balanced, but the only thing this accomplished was to remove Ember's most viable build from the game despite it not really being an issue of any kind.

I really hope DE reconsiders this and, at the very least, partially reverses this nerf.

TL;DR I'm salty about an unnecessary nerf that makes a frame I enjoy even less useful.
