So I got this thought recently.
How do you like this idea to wear shields instead of Melee-Weapons?
DE could give them special defense and offense abilities, such as a charge or a block, so you could keep an amount of damage away from your partners. Also it would be a great style-improvement. I would love my Rhino with a shield!
Mods could improve the damage or the blocked-damage amount.
Give me your suggestions, please!

This is an interesting idea, alternatively a shield that takes your primary slot and you wield an off hand weapon? Or a sword/axe/whatever combined with a shield? They couldn't cover too much though otherwise they would probably be pretty OP.

I thought this at first, then I learned I can just jump when they do the shockwave and kill them almost instantly before another stomp.

Relogging normally fixes this.
We had to wait a while and then I had to relog about 10 times, it's fixed though (for now).

All of a sudden today I'm not able to join my friends game, and he can't join mine. Also, parties on the map when I select a planet are nowhere to be found.

This rarely happens to me, It's very noticable near the end of a mission though when I get to the escape ships; enemies in the room you exfiltrate in often just stop and let me kill them, generally the AI seems pretty good though imo.

If you have a strong armor piercing weapon or AP mod you can actually shoot them in the head, I use the snipetron to do it all the time.When I try to shoot them in the head my bullets completely miss. I don't get a number come up or a headshot it just phases through them. I'm aiming perfectly fine at their head area but it always misses so I can only do body shots on them.
I understand another thread said you can't headshot them because of heavy head armor? That is fine but the problem is my bullets are not even registering at their heads. Meaning...I'm not getting a bullet hit, or crippling them, stunning them, knocking them back. I'm not getting a number show up for damage, even if its 0 if the damage was blocked it should still show that I've hit them but the hitbox seems to be too low as my pullets phase through their head area.

I noticed this bug just earlier when the Jackal would actually walk on top of the drones flying about, lifting it off the ground for a couple seconds until the jackal walks off of it.
i thought it was quite humorous, I would of taken screenshots but I was a bit to pre-occupied xD
I can attest to seeing the same thing, although it doesn't always happen. It makes it very akward trying to shoot the legs when it bunny hops up and down off the drones rapidly.

Agreed with all of this, I've mentioned Executions before also, they seriously should be added.

There's a red effect on your character once your shields die, and a blue one once you start charging them back. Look better ^_^
While that's true, knowing that your shields have just broken right when you're surrounded or in the middle of enemies is very VERY inconvenient. What people are wanting is the ability to see your their health and shields to prevent them from getting broken in the first place, see the problem here? The UI isn't the worst I've ever seen, but it needs a few tweaks to be more acceptable for everyone.

Ok, I'm not sure if this has been posted before or not, but I really dislike the colors of the health bars. I've pretty much gotten used to it by now, but sometimes I need to look up at the health bar to see how much remaining health an enemy has (this isn't just about UI scaling); the color is far too dark and I feel I wouldn't need to look up to see the enemies health, it needs to be brightened imo.

I agree with you, although, I would rather it just be a bit different in its abilities than the normal excalibur and not just an upgrade.

Mousing over planets should also provide more details, like a mission check list or something that you could collapse and expand (not enough lists in this game lol.)

Hey, two short and sweet suggestions for improvements to the UI.
First, and most importantly, make the UI elements moveable (and resizeable!). It's a fairly simple (I think) thing to implement, but it makes a helluva lot of difference for players to be able to put stuff where they want/need it (I, for instance, would immediately reposition the minimap to either bottom left or bottom central, and the Warframe unitframe to bottom central/central).
Second, it'd be cool to have an optional HUD, displaying your health and shield around the centre of the screen. You could even have different optional skins for it. I suggest this, because many people like to play with HUDs (whilst I can and do play without on several games, I do like having it if I can).
But mainly, moveable and resizeable UI elements!
At the very least HUD scaling at this point, it's kind of a needed addition imo. I like your ideas though, how about different hud skins unique to each frame? I think that would be a cool and interesting way to add more flavor to each one, give them each their own touches in every part of the game.

When using bladestorm (which is the only way I've been able to kill Jackal solo with ash) sometimes enemies run against the door leading into the boss room where Jackal is and then I get caught on them when I target Jackal; this often causes me to teleport onto the other side of the door getting me stuck outside the boss room :C.

How about an audio cue also? Like your character saying your shields are down, or lotus telling you to take cover? Also the red effect that surrounds your character when you do the missions to retrieve an artifact is really a terrible idea since it's the same color you turn when you start to lose health.Yes, but there's pretty much no prompt for losing health. At one point, I thought I was doing great, then realized I was down to two health. If I hadn't looked at the number in the upper right-hand corner, I would have never known. There needs to be a more overt prompt, maybe via character animation or blood appearing to leak from your warframe?

This is true, but it really should be toggleable.You can press Z to bring up the player list, and their health is all displayed in red bars underneath their names. Would that work?

It's not just a regular old shooter, you have the melee mechanic which I think would not work nearly as well in first person, and the platforming and movement would probably not transition well to first person; if anything this game would probably be more clunky in first person.Because it's a shooter... What does it matter which camera angle is used? That is all just preference. I really don't get why people don't understand this... Besides, we are asking for an option, we're not asking for the game to be changed into a first person shooter. Look at Firefall, a third person shooter, marketed as such as well, yet you have the ability to go into first person mode if you so desire. What's wrong with that? Absolutely nothing! All it does is make the game appeal to a wider audiance, how is that a bad thing?

How about starting with some interesting ideas like they had for Dark Sector, such as the mode where one person plays as Hayden and the rest have to hunt him? Maybe have some sort of function where people could jump into others missions for some reason and compete for the objective? There are all sorts of possibilities that don't have to be limited to the staple game modes of other multiplayer shooters; I believe digital extremes could think of some cool stuff to implement for pvp, I personally think a pvpve gamemode is a cool idea.

It's a little annoying at first, but they're not completely immune anyway. They're a good thing to mix in when you're used to headshotting grineers, they're sort of the opposite to the marines in their armor. They're really easy to kill if you aim for their bodies anyway, it's those darn shield drones that are the issue with the corpus lol (those aren't too hard to kill by themselves but it is really annoying when there are multiple shielding each other.)Being immune to a headshot is utter bull***. Just jack up the Armor value on the Head hit-box to the point that they are nigh-invulnerable there (Similar to how the Jackal Boss' head is protected) so that at the very least, the Armor-piercing stat has more applications in game-play.

I'd really like to see some sort of function to do executions on enemies with low remaining health; I also feel annoyed when an enemy is knocked to the ground and I can't just use my sword to end them there... thoughts?

Ah alright thanks, I didn't realize this.Just like the newly added items to make your frame or weapons get new upgrade slots you can get those artifacts by going into alert missions wich have a "?" in their reward slots, the resulting artifact is completely random tough.
