  1. Zephyr main here! We've had the update for a couple of days now on console, and I've had the chance to play around with the changes. Overall, I'm very happy with the direction you've taken. Combining Tail Wind and Dive Bomb and making a new ability is exactly what I wanted to see. That said, there are a few things I would like to see adjustments to.

    Tail Wind

    PROS

I love how the ability feels now. I think there were some issues with this ability before where she wouldn't continue moving with the same momentum as she was intended to. I think I remember hearing about some air friction related issues early on. The longer you tried to stay in the air by spamming this ability, the heavier you'd begin to feel. Now, momentum is maintained, making you feel much more light and agile as Zephyr should always have felt. It also means that it's not necessary to recast as often when flying across the Plains, leading to greater efficiency. It's great. It's a bit more unwieldy, but I'm getting the hang of it. Clean landings are still possible, which is great. Any negative feedback on this point I think will dial back as people continue to get the feel of the new mechanics. Dive Bomb is also easy to pull off, and I'm happy with it.

    CONS

I'd like to see a reversion to having Zephyr shoot upwards when casting from the ground, instead of how she currently shoots where ever she's aiming. It allows for a quicker, more reactive response when escaping melee enemies than aiming upwards, while still allowing for aerial retaliation, rather than putting you on the other side of the map. Zephyr is extremely squishy without the protection of Turbulence, and she needs to be able to respond quickly to melee enemies sneaking up behind her.

I'd like to see the charge time for the hover either reduced, or have it affected inversely by Duration mods. She's too vulnerable to melee attackers this way, and not getting a full charge can still leave her vulnerable while she hovers, especially to AoE damage. I'd also like to see the energy effects turned way down. With bright energy colors, it can be nearly impossible to see what's happening on the ground, especially when layered with Turbulence's effects. Its function as a sniping perch is severely reduced in this way.

As for the augment Target Fixation... Frankly, it's useless. Tail Wind is just not accurate or powerful enough to be used offensively, and with most targets on the ground, it's essentially impossible stack enough damage buffs before landing and having to start over. Perhaps changing it so that your weapons would receive a stacking damage buff for each target hit while hovering would work better, giving her kit some damage that she otherwise lacks, and

    Air Burst

    PROS

I absolutely love it. It fits so well into her kit and compliments her playstyle well. It also serves as as an adequate replacement for what I called "the Zephyr stomp": jumping but a short distance before casting Dive Bomb for quick and dirty CC, which isn't as straight forward to pull off now. Not that I've needed to even attempt it.

    Turbulence

I don't have enough to say for pros and cons, so I'll keep it simple. It works great, but the fact that the animation stops her dead in her tracks (and always has) is sacrilegious for a Warframe centered on her mobility. I love the new animation, but her legs need to keep moving. I'd also like to see a pushing mechanic similar to Gara's Splinter Storm, but maybe I'm just getting greedy.

    Tornado

I'm extremely pleased with the changes. My only suggestion would be to crank up the suction just a tad more to keep enemies in the tornados longer. I've noticed this has already been improved some from the original iteration, but it think it could still come up a bit. The steering is also iffy right now, so additional functionality there would be helpful. Additionally, now that they do physical damage instead of magnetic by default, change them to match your energy color until given a new damage type. This would grant additional viability in the end game (Captura).

Pyrana Prime and Attica Prime. Melee doesn't go too well with the "death from above."

It's always a Primary OR Secondary AND a melee weapon, so there's gonna be a melee. And, I mean, one of the weapons Zephyr came out with was the Jat Kittag. There are aerial melee maneuvers, including a slam attack, and I'm not sure how that isn't literally "death from above."

  3. She's really not a bad frame at all, but she does need some work. Divebomb isn't awful either. It's a good knockdown, and since it's damage is lackluster, there's no reason to worry about height. Just small jump is fine and you get some CC. None of her abilities do great damage, as she's more of a CC frame anyway, so I'm not sure what people expect out of Divebomb. I do think Divebomb could possibly be put into Tailwind and a new ability added though. Which, while we're at it, Tailwind is fine too. It gives you much greater speed than a normal bullet jump and can be chained with bullet jumps and glides and every other movement to cover more ground more quickly. Turbulence is great, of course, but Tornado could use some love or maybe a replacement.

No , infested summer that was there olive branch to Ps4 and Xbox well dang son DE sure loves us how about more story missions oh right there splitting warwithin into 2 updates so October here we come warwithin. No same DE same excuses

Then delete the game and move on with you life if this game and DE is so terrible in your view. They can't help how the certification process goes, and PC had a lot of bugs to get ironed out this time, thus the delay. You'd be whining about the game being broken if we got it prematurely. It's clear from your 2:20 liked post ratio that all you've ever done is complain about things that cannot be helped. They have no choice but to bundle smaller updates together and give us larger, but less frequent updates for the purpose of going through certification less frequently. We got Infested Summer for the sole reason that they understand that it can be hard waiting for these updates. An olive branch means that they do care about the console communities. Just calm down.

I been playing this game since it came out for PS4 I'm NOT grateful , the waiting for new content in this summer of lackluster updates is sn insult to there Ps4 xbox player base . So no tell me just how it is i should be. I've playing longer i went through the 3month kubrow update dryspell. No content . Which was very very wrong. So tell me all knowing one

I've been here since u11. This is how it has always been and always will be due to the nature of the console update process. Just be patient. It's Friday. We're getting the update sometime next week. Literally no one will die as a result, and this game is not intended for school children, so that's really not a consideration. They provided us with the Infested Summer event-- which PC never got-- as a nod to our wait for content. They aren't insulting us. They're doing the best they can with the circumstances they've had. So yeah, we already know that you're ungrateful and there's really no need to point it out.

    Update for you all:

"Console Tenno: We are aiming to submit Specters of the Rail to Cert by Monday Aug 8th at the latest. Stay tuned!"

    From: https://forums.warframe.com/topic/683384-thanks-for-watching-prime-time-129/

I'm glad to hear something, even if it's not happening as soon as we were all hoping. I guess there must've been some unexpected roadblocks, or Drew wouldn't have likely have made this thread when he did. Still, progress is progress!

Is there ever going to be an option to keep the older navigation style, because the newer one doesn't seem too console-friendly.

    Other then that, LET'S GO!!

This newer version is much more similar to the original, which worked fine on consoles if you weren't around at the time. This will be far more sensible and easy to navigate, and just plain cooler looking.

So those pc players you know were happy over version 1 rail conflicts being deleted instead of being fixed? Those same pc players you know were also happy over version two rail conflicts being deleted instead of being fixed ? Thus at one stroke dojos , clan and alliance vaults were made useless.

Instead of de fixing rail conflicts bugs and providing taxation balance fixes they deleted game mode.

The pc players i know are never happy over game mode deletion instead of fixes.

And this ''update'' 13 hotfixes and still more bugs so no praise from me or anyone i know .

Focus fixes? Nothing, fixes to reduce grind? Nah more grind now with lowered credits earning , less xp earning , less syndicate standing earning , less prime parts earning ,

Dark Sectors were a disaster full of exploitation. They had no choice but to stop the bleeding and regroup, and they are working on a new system to replace it. It's taken awhile, but you'd have been whining with the rushed version anyway. From recent statements from Steve, it looks like they've finally settled on a direction to take it, and he's confirmed that it will bring back importance to clans and alliances, but I guess you can have an awful attitude about that too, since salt is all you're capable of tasting.

Those previously mentioned players would make completely different arguments about how easy it is to farm for void parts now. It might not be as direct, but there's now a system in place to allow you to make the harder parts easier to obtain instead of running 40+ minute survivals countless times a day to no avail, and you have a better understanding of your odds, but hey, if feeling vilified is why you can get out of bed every morning, have at it.

Idea: delete your PS4 version too since the game is so terrible.

Soooo you have no clue despite it being a free download on pc.

I rather try something myself and decide for myself instead of depending on the word of someone else .

The de  whiteknight is strong in you.

I do have the PC version, but I haven't played it much because I don't see any point in starting over, nor do I have the time to get that account to a place where I can try out every new system they introduce. The experienced PC players I know, whom I trust more than the people who consistently cry every single time DE changes something, weren't upset and were far more pleased with the new void farming system than, say, the changes to Archwing. Having played this game since U11, I have seen that players create monstrous threads full of whining every single time DE makes a major system change, and I've never felt that it was deserved when I've been able to see the changes myself. It happened with melee 2.0, with movement 2.0, and literally every single other thing that has seen change and months or years after the fact, no one would willingly go back. People are incapable of understanding the difference between a bad change and simple growing pains and a learning curve. Void fatigue is a real problem with this game and they are tackling it with these changes, and have already made adjustments since its initial debut after receiving all that feedback. Dismissing me as a "white knight" doesn't make you anymore justified for having a terrible attitude, and deleting your PC version over bugs is an entirely separate matter. You can't make every one happy and I fully understand that.

That's just the magic of art programs these days, pressure sensitivity, directional brush strokes, bristle textures ect.

Oh, now that you mention it, I think a friend of mine uses that Corel program you mentioned. I've been wanting to get into digital art, but I don't have a tablet yet, and there's no way I'm going to come up with anything halfway decent with a trackpad and my finger. I'd definitely be interested in a program with those capabilities, since acrylic and oil is what I'm most used to.

  11. Interesting concept. Sounds like a great farmer frame. I think the concept needs a more thorough explanation of luck beyond its impact to Dice Roll results. Also, the name is terrible, and looks like an attempted reconstruction of a Latin root for "gamble" though "gamble" is purely of Germanic origin, and thus no such word exists. If a Greco-Roman origin is preferred, I'd suggest the name Caerus/Kairos, the "personification of opportunity, luck, and favorable moments.
