  1. We ask for a Braton Prime buff... it takes.... how long was it, a year and a half? We ask for something else, it takes half a year. Viver appears, and in less than a week DE made a "bandaid fix" to it. Week after, they undo it, and in less than two weeks I believe, we have the Nullifier. They're very, very quick to kill efficient ways of playing, but slow to do anything else. That's the first part of what's bothering everyone.

The bigger problem here is that Warframe is people against aimbot. If you're not the host, then you're not in as bad a situation, as the enemies aim at your position based on where the host sees you, not where you see yourself. But to whoever is hosting, it's HELL fighting an aimbot Lanka. Yes, DE recently made accuracy changes based on how quick you're moving and whatnot, but before that, they'd made enemies be even MORE accurate. Red Text said something along the lines of enemies "not shooting like stormtroopers" any longer.

The problem is that, how we cannot possibly destroy an aimbot that has a shield in higher levels, and how the very thing that made Warframe be different than other shooters, our Tenno abilities, are now rendered useless by a single unit that enemies all clump next to. Maybe the Torid works, maybe we all need to carry a Synoid with us everywhere now, or an Amprex. But as the others say, it means you cannot use your favorite build and setup everywhere you go now. Maybe that's what DE wants, not a 1-size-fits-all type of game. But it makes us use specific, limited weapons anyway, so I don't see the difference.

What I believe is that it's an indirect way to address the reputation/affinity farming methods people have used lately, where you simply spam 4 to win. They're being subtle about it, but that's what it is. And while "spam 4 to win" isn't quite an ideal way to play either, this secondary bandaid fix is causing more problems than it solves.

  2. I am on the same page. Our clan started as a two person group, two close friends, simply wanting to have clan research and a place to just "exist," since at the time there were no player ships. Now it's grown to be a 40 member clan, but we are all well-acquainted with one another. The only strangers are those that disappeared in September, when classes started up. So I do prefer people that know each other and socialize to an ocean of faceless names

  3. I really hope they fix whatever it is. I've seen a lot of people creating threads about this issue, yet it's been a couple of months and nothing has changed. I'm having a hard time loading into missions with friends, that kills the experience for them, and me

  4. I have been experiencing the same. Before Update 15, I had pretty good loading speed. The flying ship would be at 30 FPS, and then 60+ after the majority loaded. Now I get 14-16 FPS, and then 30 or so. I barely am able to see the mission intro cutscenes, as the game seems to no longer wait for everyone to be loaded in. On my friend's computer, much older than mine, the loading is so bad we actually need for her to enter a node alone, and then invite. Otherwise, I just get disconnected from her

Intel HD Graphics 4000 power my computer, and HD 3000 hers.

  5. I don't see what the problem is. This thread is requesting an option. An option is not a mandatory thing. If it does not please you, then do not use it. If it does, then indulge and be happy. "It should not exist because I do not like it" is a terrible, toxic way of thinking. You do not like it, then do not use it.

  6. There is more than that. It seems that our characters actually shrink in size when using melee or moving quickly. The drones in space are not very large, and yet, we appear tiny next to them. When moving slowly and shooting them, though, your size is regular

  7. These maps do look very pretty, for the most part, but it is as you say. There's no point in even looking around in them. I think maybe one of the best, yet also worst aspects about this is the fact that we have a tile set system in play. Instead of an actual map, we have random chunks and pieces of maps, which results in very awkward attempts at sneaking around, or a desire to simply follow the waypoint, since the map changes every time. I'd like to see, eventually... very far into the future (realistically, I wish it were soon) some areas that actually had solid maps. Maybe assassinations, or rescue missions. That is my greatest issue with exploration

Bottom line: Agreed, some incentive to explore would be nice.

  8. Update 15 would be great, but... unlikely. As everyone else is saying, we haven't seen teaser trailers on it. Even Nyx Prime got a teaser, and then it was released a week later.

I'd like to see 14.9 with a lot of balancing and additions, maybe give us that snow tile set or something, unless they want to batch that in together with Archwing. Or just something to make it worthwhile right now, I'm a little... bored...

  9. One of the devs spoke of the Braton Prime buff in a recent stream, along with heavy weapon buffs. I cannot remember which dev or which stream, but I hope that idea does not just disappear into oblivion. I would really enjoy using forma on that weapon, if it was just not THAT inferior to others. The Boltor Prime is literally the "go to" gun against all three factions, even if its damage says that Grineer are the best for it. Braton Prime has slash damage as its forte and is hit-scan, I'd like to see it be worthwhile against the infested, and not out-damaged by a puncture-based weapon.

  10. I hope this is the right section to post...

Anyway, for those of us that were fighting in the solar system back when melee 1.0 was a thing, do you recall the Galantine's sound effects? It sounded powerful, and made you feel like you were really murdering enemies when you hit them. The ones it has right now just make it feel like it's made of aluminum to me, and don't inspire me that much. They are not bad, and returning to the older ones is probably not a good idea, but the ones at the moment... well, thoughts on it, anyone?
