  1. basically this bug starts when selecting a mission and it does the whole searching thing.

    but, it takes alot longer than normal. notably 30-45 secounds.

    after it finally ends with the "can not find" message, i click on a new. and rather than try to search. it immediately pops up that pop up again, no pause or delay.

    i keep going to other instances, and they all pop up with this instantly.



    so, i go to dojo.  and heres where i notice i'm affected by the bug.   i click dojo and normally it would immediately launch.    but in this case, it doesn't respond.

    i keep clicking, and still no response.


    i go to every mission, it either doesnt respond(mission hubs or solo start),   or says can't find (regular missions)



    only way i've found to break it is to restart game.

    edit: quick note, if i go into a non railjack mission, it instantly enters, skips the searching for party....

  2. thanks for Ember rework. finally, Ember is once more, a pyromaniac burning the house down, while swinging a fireman's axe wildly, laughing insanely, and dragging your ass out of the middle of the fire. woot woot she is back ❤️

    hope doozie returns one day to see Ember getting her card back. 

     

    that said, i do wish her 4 skill was an aoe around her.  outside of that, i love this skill.  augment is also nice

    her 3 skill, was meh to me at first, till i saw the augment.  oh i love self heal, though i'm still a bit confused about it lowering heat guage as it seems to go up so fast after, making me wonder if its better to just click 2 twice to reset it.    still, for a heal i love it.

    her 2 skill, yes!  she's needed durability ever since overheat got removed.   the scaling on this could use some work, but the angle this skill is aiming at is epic.   augment is...i guess good,  but right now its hard to judge how to get to max DR when needed.     the speed the heat ramps up could use some work,  maybe letting mods affect it (like how high it goes before it speeds up growth)

    1 skill, eh....its as eh as ever. no complaints as it has a role.  but no praise.

    passive, love it.

  3. is there a spoiler option? no?

     

    then prepare to a collections of pictures of how the matchmaker is failing to make groups and leaving everyone stuck in que.   need a fix and soon

    basically,  this is when the matchmaker dies.  and instead of making groups leaves everyone sitting waiting for one until it times out and throws everyone still waiting in alone.

  4. so for the past 4-5 days. i've had alot of network disconnections while in missions.  and at times it will be instant.  like no pause. no message.   one sec i in a mission with 3 others, the next i alone.  just poof

     

    i looked at pingplotter.  not sure if this is the right IP....but i'm not sure what to do with the result

    any advice for what to do. i read the article they have on their support page but nothing helped.

     

     

    up until 4-5 days ago i wasn't having problems at all

  5. so this Sentinel still has issues related to its codex ability.

     

    while sentinels like wyrm, deathcube, shade, and carrier all have working abilities.  Helios is a bit of a drain without payoff.

     

     

    what do i mean?

     

     

    Failed Scans on enemies(they die as scan begins) uses a scanner. -no scan gained

    Failed Scans on objects(lose line of sight) uses a scanner. -no scan gained. 

     

    Earth Specific Missions(main reason i got this thing)

     

    In addition to failed scans on objects, once an object has been scanned so many times, it stops scanning them. this is good as you don't want to waste scanners on those anymore.   except this means it wont scan extracts on earth.   if you want them, you literally have to hope you've never had those scanned before.  or do it yourself.

     

    to compare this to other sentinels

    its like a Wrym AoE stun not working if the enemy is blocked by line of sight

    or death cube inceration not working cause it has to charge before doing dmg.

    or carrier not picking up items cause it already picked them up before(like its picked up a mod before. so it doesnt pick them up ever again)

     

     

     

     

     

    Solution:

    1. Make Helios not consume a scanner unless scan is successful.

    2. Make Helios continue to scan specific items(extract stuff on earth) provided item gives an item for being scanned.

     

     

     

  6. It's PBR, it makes some things look glossy or desaturated in certain tilesets. Not sure why DE hasn't changed how PBR interacts with their lighting, seems like most things in PBR look good on the liset but then look super different in some tilesets. A few other weapons and skins have this problem as well.

    aye. Valkyr used to have this problem before

     

    and they thankfully managed to fix it. heres hoping they can fix it again =)

  7. sigh....when valkyr first came out she had a bug where the color you picked for her armor wasn't what showed up

     

     

    the bug for her gersemi outfit is much the same

     

     

    except, while it shows correctly in the ship. it doesnt in missions

    and Rhino had a thing about t-shirts. (oh and the paired the frames up)

  9. to be fair, better flying ability might have broken several parts in the game like when you need to wall run.

     

    and it might make places in game you shouldnt be able to get to exploitable

     

    plus...it would be hard to hit a flying thing. thus making you nearly invicible..though its hard to hit when flying as well.

    Stop suggesting buffs to enemies when we're already trying to get used to the new infested. Just because you haven't played a high-ranked mission, doesn't mean the rest of us aren't.

    ok heres the thing.

     

    1. i HAVE been doing high ranked missions

    2. i have NOT been getting hurt by these, or staggered. i already explained its like the stun/stagger from paralysis and accelerant. seems to be host only. (and considering i melee them, its even stranger i'm not stunned)

    3. i'm tired of them all just blowing up and denying me kills

  11. Their purpose is to stagger lock you, while chargers do the real damage.

    sorta hard when the runners block the chargers even while they explode.

     

     

    and when you stun them and they STILL explode while stunned. it sucks

  12. what is the purpose of these?

     

    these make up roughly 40% of the infested i see, but never do much other than die when i walk past.

     

    can we make these spawn less and give us something that we can kill instead of getting mad when it blows up in our face for no satisfaction?

     

    or make them act like chargers and explode when they die.

     

     

    cause right now..its just not fun to run into melee the infested and then find that most of them are dead...and not by your hands...

     

    P.S.  right now when they explode. they dont do dmg anyway. or stun/stagger. might be a host thing (like how paralysis and accelerant only stun for the host)
