Went to buy plat and through the main website and for some reason I was forced to go through steam wallet to make the purchase . No other options what so ever. Used a different web browser and poof it worked the way it was supposed to. First time this has ever happened in 9 years. Any ideas ? Started doing this after Cross save went active, did not do it before cross save. Coincidence maybe or maybe not.

Ya, I am getting codes now. Tested twice and they both are invalid though.

Depends on the issue, patience is key here. I got a code finally but it was invalid, So i think the system is trying to catch up or they had to do something that is triggering things to start happening.

I know, just wanted to see what others had going on as well. Don't like bugging tech support unless I absolutely have too.

Same, had to reinstall Warframe on my backup computer since my mobo died, still waiting on the 2fa code.

My take on the skip the story ( pay to skip) is that this will create all kinds of problems. Before I get to that the main problem is that the majority of gamers have no patience for the grind. They have become accustomed to the everything given to them or a gradual advancement in weapons and equipment from FPS and other games that are not looters . Majority of players are now so fickle will flit from game to game that will satisfy their instant gratification needs. Warframe is not that type of game. Players that play looters are expected if not required to sink a lot of time and effort to achieve high levels of performance and knowledge on the various systems and equipment that becomes available over time and grind. Now for the main problem that comes to mind. Performance of players that have no grind time and MR advancement will have no idea of the game mechanics, mission mechanics, team mechanics, nor anything at all about team synergy between various frames, weapons, abilities, arcanes, mods, and various other things that will come into play. With all this will also cause issues with public matchmaking, There will be some saltiness that will happen between the vets, the advanced player, the casual player, and the new player. When you get a team with experienced players and one player that might be a pay to skip joins in and has no clue of what needs to be done or how to do it, well I can see the toxic chat flying or the new player leaving squad with a bad taste in their mouth because of the refusal of reviving them all the time because they have no clue of what is going on. Other issue that will happen is the Pay to Skip, regardless of what it is called or named that is what it is. Warframe has always been a pay to look pretty and a pay to help game play, never has it been a play to skip or pay to win. Even in the past where you can buy things in the market for plat to get things to avoid the grind you would still need to learn the basics and also still needed to do the grind afterwards for resources. I have no issues with MR gating or test gating to advance into new content , that should be a requirement to advance. I just don't want to see warframe to go down a dark path that will kill it, but I also understand the issue of getting new players that will be long term grinders as well as retaining those of us that have been long term grinders. It is a hard thing to accomplish for sure because for the simple fact us old time grinders and long term player are not gonna be around forever, me included ( I have for more years behind me than I do in front of me, old age sucks), thus I do not envy DE with choices and solutions they have to try to make and come up with.

I very seldom post for the simple fact usually I am unable to post in a timely fashion due to work or things needing done at home. Also usually everything I want to say has already been said several times by others so I just prefer to hit the like button which can hold as much weight as another post . With that being said my main concern is the timing and price and bundling of junk in the packages. The FOMO is just flat out predatory and comparing the Heirloom collection to founders packs is not a good analogy. The founders packs ( even though I joined right after they went poof) was more in line with a crowdfunding on a start up. With the reward of having the prime packs being exclusive to those that were able to invest with the understanding that the game could fail ( fair enough) as with any investment. The Heirloom collections are not investments in something that may not survive, FOMO should not have even been a thought for a celebratory package. My main concern is no options for just skins and halos, don't really care if it is with real money or plat, just make them fair. Leave the original packs there if somebody wants them that's fine there are a lot of new players that could use what is bundled in with them. The whole accolade thing really burns my biscuits, when those of us that have been buying merch, plat, donating to DE's causes and just willing to keep playing the game and helping new players to better enjoy what the Warframe universe has to offer be considered sub-par when some new player hops on buys the pack and vanishes before they even grind out 100 hours. Really, 10 year supporter,,,, think about that. There have been several Tenno in the forums that have given some great advice and they should be listened to. DE you may be hearing what the community is saying but you are not listening, there is a huge difference between the two. I am getting ready to turn 56 soon and have spent more time in the online gaming world than I should have, Doom, Quake and its kin, AA, MOHAA and its kin, COD franchise, as well and been a part of anti-cheat communities as well. I have seen great games come and go, usually they went poof due exactly what is being tried here. DON'T do this. Warframe has a great past and legacy, has a great and promising future. Personally I will continue to play as well as buy merch, plat, and bundles as long as they are fair and are not artificially bloated.

I did not and will not, I stocked up on some plat for TennoCon because every year I like to gift random people with low MR stuff they could use and I was bouncing around the different relays. Nobody was chatting in the relays. I was planning on gifting the heirloom stuff . When they dropped the FOMO, price, and Steam wall it literally just took whatever enjoyment I was having with the event.
