  1. I've had this issue with the Twin Grakatas and the Harpak... But only when I have mods in those weapons... I've done enough testing with those two weapons that I can confidently say my account is not updating after missions whenever I bring in either of those two weapons...

To help rule out other weapons, I've tested this out with other pre U17.0 weapons, and they still update successfully.

  2. I'm going to be holding back on Exilus slots for a while because I use all my Warframes equally and don't really care about tagging on a Rush or an elemental parkour mod on my Ember Prime (which, at 12% usage beats out my other frames by 1%). The new parkour system makes it easier for me to get by without Rush, because with no more stamina all I need to go fast is a wall, and even without a wall I'm still pretty fast.

The only thing I'm considering is Heavy Impact on Zephyr.

  3. I have a question about starting the Natah Quest:

To start it the drone will randomly show up in a mission (or only Tyl Regor boss fight? idk, whatever).

Then after seeing the drone, you unlock the Natah quest.

If the drone was spotted while in a party can only one person, or some but not all the party members unlock the quest, leaving others questless?

The reason I'm asking is because I was playing with my brother and we found the drone but after completion only I unlocked the quest not him.

It's been a couple of days and he still hasn't found the drone again to unlock the quest. Either his RNG hasn't been good enough to find the drone, or potentially - the game thinks because he's found the drone, it will never spawn the drone for him again, even though he doesn't actually have access to Natah.

  4. With Parkour 2.0, if you're sprinting, then you slide, then you let go of Cntrl to stop sliding, you're no longer sprinting if you were holding Shift the whole time.

Before 2.0, you would automatically resume sprinting, which made it easy to make sure you were always sprinting when not doing something else.

Now I need to keep track and make sure I let go of Shift and press it again after I slide.

The button input should be reversed back to what it was like before 2.0, where sliding will not force you to repress the Shift key again.

  5. I'm trying to imagine Warframe if getting items was really easy...

I probably would lose my eyesight to 99% of the population wearing the most powerful shiny Prime gear.

Prime Access comes out for $140, and people complain they can't find all the new prime parts in less than 15 void missions (which assuming each void mission was 60 minutes, which it usually isn't, would amount to 15 hours). Last time I checked no one cries and whines that getting to max level in almost any other game is hard, yet people can get to MR14+ in one week, and they STILL think the grind is tough?

Personally I don't mind the grind, because "grinding" in Warframe means indulging in exactly what I enjoy about Warframe, hacking and slashing hordes of enemies as a badass space ninja. I don't partake in any of that drone-labor camping nonsense.

People choose to camp. People choose to burn out.

  6. I forgot my Amprex exists... Yeah I remember it hitting like a beast. Never understood why though. I don't remember the stats in my Arsenal, but I remember the math didn't really add up for its total damage including the yellow and red crits. It would just hit ridiculously high and I never knew why.

  7. What about a Fatigue system instead of cooldowns or the straight up Energy system?

For example, maybe after your 10th Miasma in 15 seconds (which that scenario already screams #4 to win) your Miasma no longer costs 25 energy but increases to like 30. And after some rest time, i.e. not using Miasma as rapidly, it slowly or rapidly cools back to 25 energy whether you've lessened your Miasma spam or completely halted it.

I'm just making up numbers but I'm essentially saying, make abilities start to cost more energy the more they're spammed?

It makes sense, I'd get tired if I was an Ash doing Bladestorms 10 times in a row, that 11th Bladestorm would require a little more effort and endurance to pull off than the 1st one. That 'effort' and 'endurance' can manifest as requiring more energy.

This system intuitively counters turtle spam 4 win strategies because those just look ridiculous... Warframe gives us parkouring space ninjas, and you just stand stationary waving your hands ad nauseum like an awkward dancer at a party?

  8. Everything loses out to Nullifiers kinda, and why Ancients and Ospreys? And yes, I'm a very offense-orientated person, so I kinda built his skills around what would be most fun for ME, not really going to into detail about making him fun for all. XD

those shield ospreys can give your team +200 shields while also periodically restoring shields to full which will help when turtling and jumping around life striking things isn't an option

ancients, particularly/especially Ancient Healers can heal your health, and if you're downed can revive you back up... When I'm in the Void as Nekros and I'm in either a bad situation myself or I have several teammates down, I make sure to cast Shadows. Because, I probably have a Healer stored up, so he can just revive all my teammates at once, or revive me when I get downed; very cool and very useful

  9. DE has interest in Parkour 2.0 because they think the old movement is clunky, too clingy, and scripted animation based (like derpy vaulting over objects with something like Mirage).

When I use a max (or very close to max) duration build I fly very far because I try to take advantage of that massive mobility. But because it travels in a straight line it - just like Parkour 1.0 - is very clunky to work with.

That's why personally I want to see Zephyr truly become the first flying Warframe, I want to see her Tail Wind either be updated or changed into actual flying, let her float and have full control in the air with badass animations and everything. If not Tail Wind then maybe Turbulence, Turbulence does what it does and allows you to fly - I mean the ability does involve summoning air currents around you, makes sense if those same currents allowed you to fly.

If people fear losing the sheer dashing speed of Tail Wind with such a change, then let the new Flying Tail Wind allow you to move that fast.

With things like Charge, Tidal Wave, and Excal's new improved Slash Dash, I want to see Tail Wind become more than just an omnidirectional dash

I want to see my bird frame actually fly!

  10. sounds like a much more offensive based Nekros you have in mind... Also if the ult became what you envisioned, sure it sounds cooler but it definitely loses out in utility to summoning things like Nullifiers, Ancients, and Ospreys.

  11. I mean... There are two sides to that issue I'd say...

    1) Yeah MR's a bad indicator

but 2) If you really care about the skill of your teammates, what else are you gonna use when fishing through random strangers in recruiting? "I'll invite you if you describe to me in one paragraph how you're a good player."

Some people try to quantify skill in the best way possible, doesn't mean they wholeheartedly believe a MR19 is that much more pro than a MR6. But are the odds in favor that the MR19 is better than that MR6? Yes.

It's like resumes, you might have a 4.0 gpa but all you do is memorize textbooks and can't work independently, or you might have a 3.0 gpa but you work great with teams, enthusiastically pursue ideas and etc... But nonetheless, that 4.0 gpa looks good on your resume and gets your foot in the door.

While not perfect, people use what they can to judge skill, because what else are they gonna use.

  12. I like daggers where they are, if anything I want the dual daggers (or maybe specifically the dual dagger stances) to be buffed... Before Melee 2.0 the Fangs were known as the fastest melee weapons in the game, pulling off as many as 4 slashes in a single [E] press... Now we have Gnashing Payara and idk I feel like a snail when I use that.

Pointed Wind has a fast and (although simple and redundant) satisfying combo that makes daggers faster than dual daggers with Melee 2.0.

  13. "Let people play how they want and don't touch Greedy Pull"

Nope, DE decides how you play - why? Because it's their game. And that's why a change to Greedy Pull is coming... Because they decide how their game works and they don't like people playing in a way so simple you could play with a blindfold... Sound oppressive? Well it shouldn't but if it does, go design your own game.

  14. I like the make Greedy Pull only affect Mag's items idea. Carrier already does that.

When Carrier vacuums up stuff and those items follow you around and you start dragging a junk load of items behind you, other players don't see that and their items are still standing in their original position. So making Greedy Pull like Vacuum sounds good.

And to the people saying this Greedy Pull abuse isn't abuse - oh yeah it is - Abuse is improper usage of something to unfairly or improperly gain benefit... When the ENTIRE PARTY can button mash ONE KEYBOARD KEY with their EYES CLOSED in a game about PARKOURING, NINJAS, and SUPER POWERS and benefits equally or more than a team playing normally, yeah that's abuse. And that's why DE's looking to change it; because the goal for their game is parkouring and ninjas, like cmon U17 is practically titled Parkour 2.0 yet you wanna stand in one place with your eyes closed? I could read The Sound and the Fury while grinding Draco.

And to the people saying Greedy Pull is working as intended, well that has no significance here: it's pulling items to the Mag, there - what a statement. Saying that doesn't justify the eyes-closed, one-keyboard-key playstyle. Many things in many video games get released and get altered after release, sometimes they're bugged and get fixed, sometimes they're working properly but get nerfed/changed, nothing new.

And to the people saying deal with it and ignore it, it's kinda tough to not notice all the Gmag/Mesa infecting the Recruiting chat, let alone the twats that demand Gmag/Mesa in something as easy as a T1D. And it's not that hard to just go on the forums and state your mind.

And to the people saying "we'll just find a different way to accomplish the same Gmag/Mesa thing:" well unless they only copy the changing meta, if there was another way equally as effective as Gmag/Mesa well... they'd be doing it right now... The prevalence of Gmag/Mesa is a sign of its prominence over all other forms of nuking.

  15. Having Zephyr do damage would be fun I guess, but I like her role now. She's great for just being places where your team needs a Frame at... like reviving someone or overall team assistance.

Like, my build on her is a max duration and range build, sacrificing damage.

Only thing I wish was different is to make Tail Wind an actual flying ability, not just your typical dash ability that's just allowed to be used in the air and in any direction... I wanna float man...

  16. Considering how Saryn is a poison, plague and disease Warframe... I'd kinda like to see Miasma reworked into something more living up to that idea...

Rather than just an instant nuke - not to mention being high damage and also using a very effective damage type... I would like to see it changed...

Maybe it slowly spreads outward? It could make it act like MPrime so idk, but maybe instead of just instant overwhelming damage, enemies would suffer a strong and maybe slow DoT...

The debuff could pass on from one enemy to another like a disease, and maybe to ramp up on its disease-like usefulness, maybe it can be more than corrosive... Maybe a mix of all the poisonous related damage types? Causing massive ridiculous toxin, gas, corrosive, and viral procs all over the place?

  17. So I was doing some Syndicate Alert missions that involved the Corpus Infested Hive tileset, and I got a flickering light moment... Readied myself for Stalker or whatelse might be out there... No one came...

So I decided to keep proceeding with the mission, then the flickering lights kept happening and happening. I noticed that the entire ship growled and the lights would flicker at the same time, combined with the infested enemies having a graphic on them like they got hit by a Valkyr Warcry...

One time the growling and lights thing happened alongside scenic environmental destruction; coincidence or not? Idk.

    ---

I may only play Warframe once or twice a week, but I don't remember the Hive being literally alive... or haunted... I missed out on the Juggernaut tactical alert so I was worried maybe I was approaching a Juggernaut, but none to be found... when was this (very awesomely terrifying) living Hive ambiance added into the game?

  18. Lol, one time me and my friends were doing a T3D (back when we were new to Warframe so we were very weak, and T3D was the hardest void mission one could run).

We were picking the Fight vs. Extract, and we were choosing Fight between wave 15 and 16. But what me and my friends always liked to do, was in the last split second, switch to the Extract choice, and switch back to Fight kinda like as a fake out punch joke.

Most of my friends and I didn't do that for this T3D cuz it was like serious business. But my 4th friend thought it would still be funny - but then he didn't switch fast enough... and accidentally bailed on us :( - we lost in like 1-2 rounds lol.
