This is still an issue & very noticeable with 2 tau cast speed shards, as you finish your casting animation well before enemies finish ragdolling and start to stand up. Pull/crush, WAIT for them to start trying to stand, then cast magnetize. It's like Mag has anti-synergies between her own abilities.
