  1. I won't mention the snipetron for fear of exclusivity haters, but I'm sad that the grinlok remains unbuffed. It is weaker than its own mare's leg version. How exactly do you make a gun stronger by chopping off half the barrel, tossing the stock and painting it orange?

  2. I simply call this large spots.

Also, unlike what some people believe, face pattern is tied with body pattern. You will never find a Lotus symbol with tiger stripes, or X splotch with hyena apots.

On the wiki there is a list of head and body patterns that appear together and ones that cannot.

@op, my kubrow has the same pattern, so the head and body might in fact be linked.

  3. You can roll to avoid it or parry it with your melee weapon. These are just some ways to get around it, but I still do think pulls from ancients are a bit excessive.

They need to fix the thing with ancients still doing total drain. I'm sick and tired of it. I can deal with the occasional pull, but the drain is too much.

The drain is actually a magnetic proc. In addition to this proc disrupters leech energy with each hit and give the ability to leech energy to all infested around them. This is the definition of overkill.

  4. Kenatsu means, if I recall correctly, "sword pressure" in Japanese.

You ever remember those badass anime swords where the character has to slash only once to cut a million bad guys? I do. Each swipe of the sword produces a crescent of energy that proceeds to slash everything to bits. I want to be able to do that in warframe. And the best thing is, it doesn't have to be contrived anime nonsense because we have the channeling mechanic.

So here's the idea. To some/all of the sword weapons' stances, add the ability to project kenatsu when channeling. This can be limited to some stances that are designated as wide, multitarget stances if necessary. Since we're channeling warframe energy into our weapon it only makes sense that we could let out some of that in the form of... Idk what to call it, so I'll just say awesomeness.

Heck, I don't mind if this is made a mechanic innate to a certain weapon either. Or maybe in mod form, as an alternative to the reach mod.

What do you guys think? Leave your thoughts below.

  5. Balancing can only be properly done when all weapons are present to be balanced against each other. This game isn't even feature complete yet, so balancing cannot really be approached.

So yes, you're correct. Balancing isn't a priority right now. However, complaining about the lack of balance in a game this unfinished is not getting you anywhere.

DE has reached a point in its development where new features are taking the place of content. Warframe will likely stay feature-incomplete for years to come, simply because once DE stops adding new features players will realize that all else they are capable of adding to the game is just dozens and dozens of variations on the same grind.

So they've got to do it now, or pretty much never.

  6. I've stayed around these forums a looong time, and there's one point I've noticed since U6 when I joined.

DE's system of receiving and dealing with feedback is slower than a Rhino coptering with a fragor. Though they have put in place a means to acknowledge issues (community hot topics) their actual responses are extremely delayed. IDK why but they simply can't make up their minds and they're also completely fine with many of the absurd inconsistencies present in the game.

I don't know about others but I've just learned to live with it.

  7. They require significantly greater investment than other weapons and are weaker as a whole because of this. It's not a matter of whether a buff is needed, it's a matter of priority. The thing is, all the heavy weapons in the game have had their heyday already, and are basically stashed away in the attic. DE pays more attention to the newest releases because they are the most used at the time.
