  1. I'm kinda unsure to ask you again DE (like I did years ago)... but you've got to change Volt, so it's kinda related (but it's much more level design than character one):

    Can you finally make Volt's Shock ability not fail if directly aim-casted into environmental water (It just do nothing to enemies nearby ATM)? It's definitely a bug. Make it trigger electric proc to every enemy that touches (standing) in water, that will make a real sense and usage. OR at least make it work properly: same as if you hit the floor with it.

  2. yea it's not so maybe that's something they could improve.  Since we can bind multiple things to a single button they could just split all the behaviors in each of the 5 Actions out to their own methods and let us mix and match how we like.  And, while at it, an API method to open chat and open the keyboard in one go under all contexts + a method to close chat tabs would be nice since expecting controller users to have to press start to be able to open the chat panel to then activate the keyboard is slow/dumb.

     

    You on the Steam Beta? If so, I'd get off.  It's too buggy ever since we got profile saves to the controller.  For days I've been losing my binds either entirely or partially while in game.  Now it's pretty solid.

    Yes, I'm using Steam Beta. Got some bugs too, re-personalized my controller a couple times and now it works ...okay. Why Valve just didn't add an option to upload configs OR just keep it totally offline on the old cozy hard-drive for ppl who doesn't need to move their controller from machine to machine, meh(?) I also think that community configs can do the same job: you upload your config, move to your frined's place, DL your config via comm.section, ????, profit!

    Feel free to add me on steam by the same name or ingame!, if you have an intention, will be glad to speak out ;)

  3. Please Note: We are currently aware of issues with enemy spawning in Exterminate Missions and are working hard to get this and many other problems resolved.  Expect additional fixes to be released as soon as we get a solution, and thank you all for your patience as we kick off 2016.  

    First thing coming in mind, can you trace the line from entrance to exit point (towards extraction) of the tile and make enemies spawn somehow forward-ish, slicing it with some clipping plane on this line, maybe. All enemies remains just pack to the last section (rushers might face a heavy resistance in the end), especially for Earth tiles where is no "dualocks doors", and utilize only the last two tiles to spawn enemies for special cases.

    I'm just saying, because I have no idea how things actually works. Wish you an inspiration out there.

  4. you want to "Action 2" in the Menu context.  It should be button Y by default...

    Yeah, it's not quiet obvious, is it??

     

    I've just started WF to play a bit, cuz I have finally get config to work yesterday (and had some fun with) BUT it's not working today, even DE's recommended config don't work either... •Sigh•

    UPD: Now recommended config is working but only it, if I change it to something else it's still recommended active. But it might Steam screwed something up again.

    Just tried to reconfig some stuff your way, phew it works. But yeah, I've turned R-TP to mouse and gonna deal with it for now till some fixes will be implemented.

     

    Also, When using legacy and in-game on the same button or same set it won't showed up properly, but it's steam problem so far.

  6. I've API support menues, I canswitch between legacy and ingame settings.

     

    Can't use Xinput+Legacy mix for my config, cuz Evolution will overrinde my XYBA buttons and other from Legacy back to Xinput ingame bindings whenever it registering any XInput input. When I'm using "In-game" method only I can't hack consoles with cyfers - no action for this, can't scroll profile menus (no action for that as well) and god knows what else... Digital Extreme, there are not enough actions in your list to set. And if I will use any legacy key game will show me the mouse cursor in any menu from that point which you can't move away, unless you set mouse input as well.

     

    Also I wasn't able to pick power use actions without so called Power Menu, but now it works, gladly.

     

    Well, I just want to have FULL controller support or regular KB/M without XInput intrusion at all, where I can setup my SC the way I want. DE ahven't even tested the thing, just did a quick setup with their default gamepad configuration, which I don't like because it has so much bad binding decision where you need to choose between the actions. I don't want to let go my camera control to activate powers, for example, this is ridiculous! Poor PS4 gamers I suppose, they will never use much powers where precise targetting is required, so RIP Ash, Loki, Trinity, Ivara... ah pretty much anyone, they ain't ninjas anymore. But we have more inputs with Steam Controller, so give us the ability to utilize it, please.

     

    That's why I'm calling them to take a look. I believe that all this things can be solved in a couple of hours, with actual testing all menues and modes in the game. Or just poke me if I'm wrong and tell me where exactly.

     

    PS: Almost there, just need some extra action to choose from and, beg, do not disdain to put more functionality from API, don't cut it off for just enough. Or again, make no Xinput intrusions to KB/M input style. Thank you ;*

  7. Oh, mr.Calculon remember that your GPU, sometimes it can be CPU tend to prerender a bunch of frames, before you move your camera around. Liset isn't the most optimised shid since it was introduced to the game, and in U18 it apparently got some additional stuff to render. I wonder why do they still support x86 systems, cuz hardware, that often happens to run it barely can handle that new buildups... Sigh. You are just lucky to get good machine that gives you so tiny input lag, believe me, on middleware it's ridiculously high! I've already crank my video clocks and force my GPU to not prerender stuff just to have it playable somehow.

    PS. Also, forget about motion blur if you want it responsive [for the same reason].

    It's an old issue, and we weren't seen any fixes to that yet. So, lasciate ogni speranza, voi chéntrate.

I'm sorry for making up yet another topic about that, but DE, please, PLEASE, I'm beging you to implement the feature where you can turn off any incoming XInput, let it be just mouse and keyboard, add it to settings, I don't care If I need to restart the engine after that. Your Xinput autopicker won't let us make our own setups, how many people suffering from that.  Please, don't be ignorant, I've been playing this game over 9000 hours with faith that someday I can use my gamepad the way I want it to! Make us a Xmass gift, please. How many people asking you to do something with it? We will kudos and bath your coders in plat for that!

    Just let us turn off XInput recognition and we will do the rest. That's all we ask.

    Void keys as reward in the void - such a slap in the tenno's face. DE just checking players reaction, if they are okay with intense grind or not...

     

    Seriously: There are more sources of T1, T2 keys than can be demanded. Change it at least with credits rewards or T3 keys, or let us sell the keys for credits from inventory.

     

    Run T1E to get T1E key! Universe remains balanced!!

    Almost everybody had a dream how they were running still :) That's a nightmare.
