I mean anyone who actually readed my post and not their own thoughts would get that this was the point, slam a braton on a escalibro or volt, release the player on mercury and you get Helldivers2, but man, the hostility and the metacomplaint, back in the days these forums were far more dangerous too, half of the coments in this forum would have got you oneshoted right away by the nearest admin, damn these were the days, everything was harder no pun intended.

When warframe was tactical coop shooter i mean, except the open maps, it was all about keeping you and your teams alive and having enough ammo

Helldivers is basically Classic warframe 🙃 please dont ban me

Aint that a non sequitur tho? Like what is the concatenation between profit and dedicated hosting, the pve side of the game has been pver p2p for literally a decade now

that was the only reason for their map design to have a value, soon as you make it dissapear and become just another room, from what you say it sounds to me like you never felt the thrill of finding a parkour challenge room and trying to make it to the end of the room this time, that S#&$ was amazing

Actually, when one looks at warframe´s meta story so far, the success of this game comes from the community built around it by reb and steve plus(and with no disregard for) a competent team of artists and devs, everything IN the game could have been done in many different ways and quite probably the result would have been the same player population as far as i can remember, every mayor rise in active players comes after an outstanding reveal/release for which bjump had little effect in comparison, at that time people just wanted to let coptering become something that made sense overall, but it wasnt a relevant player attraction ever notorious bumps in population were archwing, cetus and railjack, bjump feels good, but it didnt move a wave

for me map design had two shinning stages, one was during vanilla parkour, acquiring navigating coords in void tilesets, climbing to hidden spots and learning to open secret rooms, then there was a time when they added syndicates and it took us to wander every secret corner or every map, after that, bullet jump happened, which surely added a lot to warframe´s personality, but i really dislike how it killed the thrill of discovering the secrets of every tileset im not naive about this, warframe thrived and DE took steps that led to its success, probably theres no way to reclaim that experience at this point

Am just a grandpa with pink colored glasses or someone agrees with me? DE burned his brain trying to make everyone happy but in the end they made so much exploration trivial, made everything easy and turned amazingly designed maps into a flat surface.

I just saw a HUGE patch notes list, then i spawn into Duviri mission, and i seem to be in a depressive adulthood loop, "working for someone elses dream" cosplaying as Pedro Pascal, all wouold be cool if it wasnt because the previous two things sum of for a full progtressive commie point of view of the world (Pedro Pascal + Debasing blue collars) sounds a bit too "coincidental" for my taste. As for the combat, its like a warframe take on souls systems, not bad, but why the hell should i9 continue playing if it is someone else´s dream? I should plain out stop gaming, is this another version of get woke go broke?
