    What Are The Weapons You Always Come Back To?

    What are the weapons that you considered as the most reliable, most trusted... the weapons you used the most, the little friends you always bring along on missions (when you're not leveling up other weapons)?

     

    Basically your favourite primary, secondary and melee weapons each.

     

    For me:

    Primary - Latron Prime (sniping without a sniper)

    Secondary - Gammacor (if enemies are fallen leaves, this is my leaf blower)

    Melee - Kronen (high base damage and looks cool on the back of my Warframe, what's not to love)

    Depends on what mood I'm in and what I'm trying to achieve.

     

    But if things are going to get serious, 

    I'll go soma prime , vaykor marelok, scindo prime.

    What Are The Best Elements For Different Factions?

    ehem.......so youre running corrosion against alloy targets ?

    even within grineer faction, different units possess different armor types, kindly refer to the wiki.

     

     

    Can someone tell me the best elements to use on grineer, corpus and infested pls.

    I run magnetic+poison(mostly) / corrosive against corpus depends on what i need to achieve. magnetic + poison rekts most corpus units. Corrosive to farm oxiums / Zanuka.

     

    Corrosive + anything except blast if I'm running with a rifle weapon against Void,grineer and infested. Replace corrosive with Viral if u have a 4x CP squad. i use corrosive+ blast/anything if I'm using AoE weapons like Torid.

     

    IMO Corrosive and Viral are the most useful elements ingame depending if u have completely strip the enemies' off their armour with 4x Corrosive Projection.

     

    Edit: I'm looking at status procs that makes things useful, in reply to what Duch99pl said below.

            If u only care about raw damage output then refer to PhantomRUS9's post below.

    Void Key Question

    When you say host, do you mean host of lobby or the host of the key? 

    Host of both :) I'm a host of neither.

     

     and DE made it to consume ur key as long as u pass the 1st checkpoint, forfeiting and all would still consume the key,it's in somewhr U14. so it'd say it's a bug now.

    mine is a 5yo special tailored HP pavilion DV6-6001tx laptop.

     

    i7-2630QM

    8GB ram 1333mhz

    HD 6770M 1GB GDDR5 @128bit

     

    running at medium settings 720p at 20-40fps generally. so pretty good for a 5yo laptop i suppose

     

    Edit: saw some post above about DirectX versions. I tried Dx9 and Dx11 (runtime tesselation enabled), nothing much or no difference at all in terms of fps/performance for me.

     

    I have all launcher settings ticked, except Dx10 and Dx11. I use Dx9 because when i try to Alt+Tab in Dx11 it tends to blackscreen a few sec, and that makes me uncomfortable :) .

    That's what I said. I just stated that no matter which weapon has which mods, the stats will remain at default in case OP had any misconceptions about it.

     

    ya i knw about that, that's y i asked between the 3 weapons' default dmg and firerate trigger type

     

     

    Jk, as far as I know fps does not effect your spectre performance.

     

    so i take it latron p is the highest DPS weapon for specter?

     

    Edit: nvm. boltor p's 10 rounds/sec 55dmg is still higher

    B. I struggled to get to where I am, why can't others? 

    C. You bring them to say Draco or something and show them how easy it is to farm, it creates bad habits for them later.  

    there is a huge topic on helping new players but most don't have the drive and patience to stick around playing this very grindy game.

     

    well, I agree with u on point B and C.

    B is for personal reasons :3

     

    and yes C, "new" players are so used to speed rush things and gained too much support in their game duration. most of the "complains" are actually from them. Threads that "complain" about impossible void drops and such. 

     

    They simply dont have the patience and tolerance of RNG like most players that have at least 1years of gaming duration do.

    They are so used to getting things done simple and quick, they "forced" a list of warframe to use in missions in order to make things go "their" way

    Which in turn causes "newer" players to feel left out in most contents because they simply dont have that certain frame.

     

    patience was not trained in the 1st few mastery rank because they progress too fast. Then later on feel that this game is "so" "grindy" because they always had stuff the "easy" way. 

     

    Veterans / experienced players should help train "new" player's tolerance and patience inbefore they start helping "new" players speedrush thru everything.

    Boltor P (55) vs Latron P (85) vs Tiberon (60)

     

    since Boltor P is fully auto trigger, i figured it might dish out the most DPS for my specter (and my laptop, running at mostly 20-40fps)

     

    So, does fps affects burst fire and semi-auto's firing rate for specter?

     

    if it dont, then clearly the "best" dps weapon for specter is Latron P?

     what is everyones most viable way of getting platinum without real money for this. If you are trading what is it that I should look for to trade to people?

    try corrupted mods, blind rage , transient fortitude, over extended,narrow minded are always in demand.

    just start simple, most of everything is in demand.

    I'd have to go with three.

     

    Higher MR people generally have more time than lower MR people, and time is experience.

     

    They also have or have had every Warframe and can thus meet any scenario.

    what he said, and players can easily reach MR8 without even trying , hard grinding and all that, my friend played for less than a month reached MR 8, roughly 3 weeks, 5 days a week, almost 100 in-mission hours (viewed within warframe profile). he have no clue on so many things. 

     

    That's y i personally view players less than or equal to MR12 as "new' player which have no clue about the game, or most game modes. 

     

    and players with any rank above 12 and still have no clue.. stop farming MR xp and start learning the game pls. I met with ppl with MR19, and have no clue or whatsoever with the "basics" of certain game mode, excluding raid.

    its name is A-series APU 

     

    He has i3 processor

     

    so... like hybrid intel-amd? A-i3? 

     

    back to the point, since he's using "i3" and XP, i'm guessing it's at least a 5yr old pc, which might be using intel intergrated graphics series 2000 or earlier. which cant support warframe. even intel HD3000 have a hard time running it.

     

    so it's only this , nothing can be done.

     

    If the game is giving a message that their graphics device is not supported, then there's nothing that can be done. They will need to purchase or obtain a computer that meets the game's minimum requirements in order to play. It isn't a software issue, it's a hardware one.

    Warframe's Slow Responsiveness

    ^ as in the game itself

     

    TOday my warframe takes a long time to load chats(some random chat dc), creating sessions, and log-out when i'm trying to search for a game in draco. And i went to help a clanmate for mesa quest , ( appears to only able to join invited sessions) and still i would repeatingly dc from his session.

     

    Even the forums appears to take a long time to load (had a hard time trying to post this edited version)

     

    Just wondering if it's just me and my old laptop's problem, or is anyone else experiencing the same?
