  1. A better way to get a bug addressed is to post it in the bugs forum.
  2. If you're not sure, better safe than sorry. It's something they absolutely could ban you over. Is that a risk you're willing to take?
  3. Every weapon has its fans. Snipetron's unpopularity probably means good riven rolls for it are rarer, too.
  4. I made a mistake with the original post and have corrected it since. I live in Japan.
  5. The sheer number of Pathos Clamps required for all the Duviri-sourced equipment far outstrips every other associated grind. After gathering all the mastery XP gear and effectively "completing" the Spirals, I began primarily playing the Circuit. With a handful of clamps left over from the Kullervo grind, I was able to socket a few of the Incarnon Geneses I collected, but at this point I have more geneses than individual clamps. Doing the entirety of a Spiral mission for only partial credit towards socketing one genesis that I already grinded the Circuit to obtain feels, well, not great. Especially considering that there is virtually no value left in the other resources I can collect within Duviri. At this point I also find the gameplay loop of the Circuit more compelling. So, in brief - why can't Clamps be a Steel Path Circuit reward? Even if we had to elect them over Genesis/Riven/Kuva. The orowyrm fights were interesting the first few hundred times, maybe, but now they're a bit of a slog. Adding clamps to the SP Circuit seems like the best way to create an alternate source for clamps that is 1) still within Duviri, and 2) would not erase the primary/original source. Players who have yet to finish Duviri content will still want to slay Orowyrms; I imagine as well, unless the circuit rewarded about 100 clamps, Orowyrms would still be more time-efficient. But being able to not have to switch between the challenge and compelling rewards of the Circuit, to the routine of Duviri just for some clamps, would certainly help me stay focused and driven. For those of us with nothing else left to gain from the Spirals, this would be nothing but a tremendous QoL improvement.
  6. You all are, I hope, aware that the Chinese government minister who proposed this law was removed from office and the law was only proposed, never implemented. Warframe should remain unchanged for the foreseeable future. source: https://www.reuters.com/world/china/china-removes-official-after-video-games-rules-spark-turmoil-sources-2024-01-02/
  7. Now try to think of your own idea for a cool Guass skin and draw it yourself. Or pay an artist to do so. Warframe's Tennogen system is one of the fairest and coolest ways to encourage and integrate fan art and I would hate to see it fall the way of automation. So many incredibly talented people saw Warframe's high-resolution, high-poly, overdesigned humanoid characters and said, "I can do that too." And they did! They continue to match the aesthetic and technical standards with every new release, and bring so many wonderful cosmetic ideas that the devs never would have on their own. Take what you like about this and channel it into honest, human creativity.
  8. And what more could any of us claim to be, really. It's easy for us older players to take for granted that Warframe is a beautiful game, but appreciating beauty is a good thing.
  9. In my heart of hearts I don't believe Railjack has been abandoned. It's dreaming, not dead. The naive part of me believes one day all the various threads of this game will be spun together into something truly special, but that it's all still in the works, behind the big updates, slowly but surely.
  10. Yes, the presence or absence of a relic only changes whether or not the player gets a reward from the relic pool.
  11. I definitely agree with there being a near-toxic culture of efficiency in the game now. Every mission must be done as quickly as (in)humanly possible. Most multiplayer games I play have one or more players spamming thermal sunder and/or Kuva Tonkor/Zarr/Ogris and zipping through as Wukong/Titania/operator slinging at breakneck speed. It's a little disheartening for an old fella like me, who likes to take things a little slower, and who has more fun when everyone has a part to play on the team. But, nostalgia goggles are a thing. Raw efficiency has been the doctrine of the rewards-oriented since the beginning. At a point the content no longer compels, and players would rather get the rare drop they've been denied dozens of times thus far so they can move on. I recall when I was new, I spent most multiplayer missions just walking to extraction because everything was already dead - more advanced players who had Sentinels killed everything. Carrier's shotgun was enough to one-shot everything so the players did not do anything but maneuver through the map, and the enemies died automatically. So while I would also like for everyone to chill out a little bit, I understand why they don't (to a degree) and recognize that it's not exactly new.
  12. It appears I was victim of a long-lived bug wherein I queued a bounty from the hub area and was added to a non-bounty SP mission in progress. I have only ever tried to do bounties, but on the SP chart I have Munio completed and no other nodes. Point remains that it was SP and only one defense of two objectives. I don't know exactly how much time it took. My Lex has a bog standard build.
  13. Who said 4 rotations? We defended each objective once. It was a bounty. This was steel path so I charged my Lex very easily. 47 kills out of 373 is 12%. May as well have been accidents. The entire playing field was saturated with thermal sunder the entire time and the sound effects never stopped for any significant amount of time. There were still some enemies on occasion, so I was able to consistently charge and expend the charge of my Lex, but even hitting more than 3 enemies per shot on average was not enough to keep up with thermal sunder. "Damage is not indicative of anything needing a nerf in any capacity" is a wild and very wrong claim to make. Surely it would be fine, then, if they released a gun that did one billion damage per shot because damage is never indicative of something needing a nerf. And again, all of you who do not play in SEA servers should not cite the build's rarity as a reason to leave it alone, because it is not at all rare here.
  14. The fundamental flaws with this ability are yet to be addressed. In my previous mission, a Gauss player who did nearly nothing but use heat thermal sunder (47 of their 373 kills were melee, no gunshots fired) achieved 54% of player damage against a Harrow with Incarnon Lex and 384% weapon accuracy, a Mesa with Tenet Envoy, and a Wisp buffing us both while not contributing much to the thermal sunder spam plan. Granted, I was still able to keep myself occupied because spawn density in mirror defense is intense, so this wasn't an issue of thermal sunder actually ruining the game. But thermal sunder spam outdid Mesa - which one vocal apologist for Thermal Sunder in this very thread insists is far better and more unfair - and incarnon Lex - which another vocal proponent here insists is far more powerful than any melee weapon in the game even when equipped with only half a suite of mods. I can't speak for Mesa beyond knowing what their equipment was, I didn't notice very much Regulator fire, or Envoy explosions for that matter. But a properly built incarnon Lex with what I would say is at least average player competency was unable to score half as much damage as someone who picked Gauss and pressed 3 a lot. This was in a Munio bounty - far from level cap, sure, but also rather far above the point at which an ability 3 ought to be independently sufficient for mission success. Originally I wanted its functionality on Gauss to be perfectly preserved, but I see now that the cutesy subsume builds were far from necessary and only made the loop somewhat simpler. Thermal Sunder remains too powerful, even on its base frame.
  15. So mod and/or learn to use your secondary and melee better. Again, either contend with the drawbacks of launchers, or use something different. Countless other players have no issue clearing an entire game with launchers, so it's clearly possible if you use them correctly.
  16. What needs saving? I routinely have entire missions carpet-bombed by Kuva Zarr spam, and at the end the Zarr player has gotten 90% of kills and damage. Use the myriad options available to you to mitigate the downside of the weapon, or choose something else that better fits your playstyle.
  17. LR3, will probably hit 4 with the next update. It's really as simple as acquiring and leveling new gear as often as possible. Mastery rank has always been my primary gameplay driver, so I've always been motivated to do whatever gives me more. Build the weapons and get them to 30. I haven't even done all the SP nodes and I think I have a few more Plexus intrinsics left to get.
  18. Plenty of cosmetics conflict with certain Warframe designs and/or animations already. So long as players could thoroughly preview the item before purchase, it would be fine to make them a separate item. Some people don't mind clipping. (I do.)
  19. Bishamo looks infinitely better on fem operators, so at least there's that. Maybe not "cute" in all senses. If I were to guess, it would be that classical cuteness or beauty in fashion goes against the aesthetic of the game. The operators were not given much opportunity for expression aboard the Zariman, and the entire system has been reduced to military-industrial complex since. Of course that doesn't at all necessarily preclude something upsetting that in the future. The operators themselves were a massive shock to the players, so I can see a world where space-Harajuku fashion becomes prominent. Maybe from Baro...
  20. They spammed it far more often than every 5 seconds, is how. Bots can do it remarkably fast. Low level fissures should work exactly as they did before the nerf; the recent change only affected the functionally infinite scaling. So if you wanted a fissure speedrunner, don't lament. I'm also not trying to deny that option to anyone, but I feel that at Axi it should begin to be less than perfectly efficient, and it should not be a viable 'strategy' in SP at all.
  21. I agree with the entire first half. Eidolon hunts could use a rework. I don't do them anymore, but when I did there was still a team dynamic. I would play support Oberon, my brother shot limbs with Rubico, and our friend set up Volt shields for amp fire. It was a good, fun thing that our team was able to defeat the Eidolon quickly, because we each had a part to play. As opposed to watching someone solo all three of them. While that would be nice for getting the Eidolon-exclusive rewards efficiently, for someone who actually enjoys Eidolon fights, it could be disappointing. Can't agree that leaving TS as is would be fine. The fact that imbalance exists does not mean we should abandon all efforts for balance. The fact that bots will always exist doesn't mean we should just let them be able to do what they can do now. If the bots are at least made less efficient, it hurts the IRL trade market bottom line, and that's the only real and effective form of policing the devs can do. Even if the power level is to remain exactly the same as it is now, making it more difficult (or ideally impossible) to automate would still be a great improvement.
  22. The only explanation I can conceive of for it being intentional, is for the two mods in tandem to technically be an option for a newer player, before they can acquire Primed Ammo Stock. I agree, however, that corrupted mods should be better than at least base mods at the cost of more drain and a drawback, if they can't all be better than Primed mods as in Creeping Bullseye.
  23. If I made a list of everything I dislike in the game it would be much, much longer than just "thermal sunder". But not even Kuva Tonkor or Bramma or Mesa or Saryn reduce the game to literal unplayability the way thermal sunder does. I am honestly getting very, very tired of reiterating that. There is a notable and relevant distinction. I hate the Kuva Tonkor. Shouldn't work how it does. But I am not asking to get rid of everything I don't like, now, am I? No. Just asking for Thermal Sunder to stop being one of the most overpowered abilities in the game, and one that helps facilitate the illegal real-world item trade that is running rampant on the server I have to play on. Abilities designed to do nothing but obscene amounts of damage do not invalidate the game the same way. It's bizarre that you can't see this. Or that you are an apologist for it. Would I be upset if Mesa or Saryn were tuned down some? No. (Maybe Saryn, I honestly don't truly think she deserves it with how poorly she fares in SP, but a change that made her less obnoxious in star chart without ruining her would be good.) Clearly they are also imbalanced, just not to the same degree Thermal Sunder is. That is why it is appealing to "players" automating the game to get rewards - raw efficiency with no chance of failure. Why don't the bots use Mesa? Why don't the bots use Saryn? Why don't the bots use Kuva Tonkor or Atterax or Incarnon Lex or Aklato or Stug? Do you see my point yet?
  24. The latter half of this post is unintelligible and the former half is stupid. Games are made and played to be fun. I can have fun with a Mesa or Saryn on my team. I cannot have fun when the game is devolved into one or more squadmates blasting through the map as fast as possible, farting thermal sunders every half a second and leaving absolutely nothing left for me to engage with. You people defending this garbage are patently insane. Is that merely preference? Sure. I want it nerfed because I don't like it. Because clearly none of my arguments about why it is imbalanced and unhealthy for the game resonate with you, so I'll put it in terms you can understand / want to hear.
  25. The most important thing is survival. Bring a tanky warframe (Atlas) with a mod config for nothing but survival, including Rolling Guard to not die to napalm. Weapon choice didn't seem to much matter, I brought a heavy blade Dokrahm, without a bane or corrosive, and pretty much just mashed E to victory. No secret build tech or heavy attack reliance.
