  1. Auction house could work if using bidding system

    -have a fixed minimum price

-have a minimum max listing price (50% of minimum fixed price or other to avoid seller set the max bidding to minimum fixed price) + a unlimited bidding price

-have your item locked in bidding for the time limit of your choice (1 day , 3 days ...) after a double confirmation system in place (in case you make a mistake in your max bidding price)

-after the time it's up the highest offer wins , that offer can be from the minimum fixed price and up

    example:

    Arcane Vanguard Rhino Helm

    min. fixed price: 500p

    min. max listing price: 750p

your set max listing price: 1000p

    day/s for listing: 3 days

-at the end of the 3 days x player bid 500p , y player bid 600p

    winner: y player

But this might require a lot of work in the setting the fixed minimum prices which should be established with the help of community and the feedback of the current ongoing trade prices , otherwise the system its pretty simple to be implemented

Another idea would be making a separate Trade chat based on categories (like the DE said they were thinking of):

    -warframes blueprints

    -mods

    -weapons blueprints:

         -primary

         -secondary

         -melee

    -kubrow imprints

    -keys

    -cores

    -accesory (helmets)

that could be implemented in a personal ship menu based on active tabs.

(idea is to filter the trade so would be more ergonomic , i think this is the biggest issue)

  2. Maybe just maybe if the all this kubrow thing wasn't such a gamble in first place wouldn't be that bad with the compensation received , i'm glad my quest got bugged and i couldn't take my kubrow out of the ship on that time , because even tho i can't say it was the one i wished for the most , it is my first kubrow in which i invested resources and no one or any thing could take it away from me , so i feel for you guys and hope a better solution gets work out for you.

  3. With hype or without hype it's a good thing.

It integrates the player in the universe , even if won't be anything to fancy at the start it will create that feeling , and the U14 it's all about fitting the players and mostly the new players in the universe they play by opening the path to a new warframe game that will give you more sense and purpose.

I think a lot of players will be glad of U14 for it's the first step in making the player feel part of the environment by opening the door to quests , lore and integration , things a lot of people wanted to see.

I don't expect it to be to spread from the start as i seen some players saying changing the ui and adding a ship won't change much , but it's the first step in the right direction and i'm pretty sure the new player experience it's the main goal of it that will have a greater impact for them than for the old players , but will open the game in a new direction we all wanted.

  4. I don't know why i'm under the impression U14 will be launched on all platforms at once ,or at least pc and xbox one , probably because of the xbox one trailer where we see the kubrows and the player ship tease , unless that trailer was meant for pc originally.

  5. I hoped they will weed out the duplicates and unnecessary rewards out of the void first , as for the T4 ,excuse me while i'm not hyped. Most likely will be the vay hek 2.0 to get those key ,meaning rng grindwall(unless they rewarded as spectres blueprints 100% chance for each T4 type) + incredible hard missions and repeat in the actual T4 mission , at least judging from the last update on sheldon's twitter and i quote:

"Warning.. T4 is not for the weak at heart. They are super difficult.. and you need to earn them by playing difficult missions."

Sorry for the caps it's the original text.

  6. The notorious Eclipse alliance has recently been eliminated from the star chart.

It lost all of its solar rails, and reportedly has also lost many of its member clans.

I'm posting to address the lack of a dedicated announcement.

As far as dark sectors go, this is a fairly significant development, and I felt it deserved its own thread.

(The only other thread mentioning this is "Eclipse Will Never Be Forgotten", and that thread is preoccupied with praising Eclipse's existence and criticizing dark sectors.)

By the way, as of now, the new heavy-taxers (>20% credits public tax) of the solar system are:

VoidStodders: 25%/5% on Zeugma (Phobos) and Larzac (Europa)

    Chrom: 27%/0% on Wahiba (Mars)

Lag Wave 50: 58%/0% on Sangeru (Sedna)

Order of the Dark Sector: 60%/5% on Malva (Venus)

INVICTUS: 75%/1% on Ur (Uranus), 75%/5% on Memphis (Phobos)

I think people who really care or have intrest in DS in first place check very regularly the situation in game and let's not forget http://deathsnacks.com/ which has every info in detail about whole dark sectors and more.

All i see in this thread is the big bad eclipse is gone , these are the new people to hate on and bash because of their high taxes , basically lets go round again in same poisonous attitude about something not worthy besides to the people who do invest time in it (in order to control a node of DS) and i think those people are free to manage their taxes as they seem fit since they own a node as the others are free to challenge them if they want to take over.

Bottom line: The Dark Sectors should be played in game by those who care.

P.S.: and if you really wanted to make your own update on Dark Sectors (even tho the above mentioned website has all the info) you should have bother posting whole nodes with their respective owners not just "some" and also add for each node what resource drops (e.g. X nodes drops neural sensors) since those nodes suppose to have better drop rates for rare resources like that , if you want to be helpful in a good way.

  7. I'll have to disagree with you about unpotatoed weapons being useless in mid levels (or as you said: most of them) as most weapons are designed to be viable for low-mid content, the reason why ppl keep saying they suck is because they can't bring those weapons to, lets say, T3 void. If its not OP its cr@p.

I didn't refer to all weapons or especially being unpotatoed as the biggest problem but the basic mods which seem way harder to acquire for the new players and the dmg 2.0 which isn't making the life any easier for them.

Still, to be honest i believe there's a big chance we shall see those mastery ranks gates implemented in the future as the game is still beta and a lot can and most likely change.

At the moment i don't think it's a priority for DE since game is labeled beta they want the players have access faster to whole content in order to get feedback faster.

  8.

edit 2: since people of the alliance or clan do not get battle pay for supporting themselves, they would of course bypass the queue

As far as i know people of the alliance or clan do receive battle pay now.

As for your idea seems nice ,  tho the whole fun pvp concept shouldn't be for material gain tho,

The whole system seems broken as it is , should have been just pvp for the sake of pvp with rewards like titles, ranks , having your alliance flags allover the map , maybe some special emblems and/or a syandana for reaching max rank in pvp and other symbolic things like that.(besides the flag rest being individual rewards)

As for choosing whom to side with maybe give the occupant and the contestant  the choice of setting the enemies of the map on deployment or something on that line , making all sectors with same credits rewards when not in conflict and let that be the only credit rewards that can be gained.

  9. (Keep it clean peeps)

Ok so, as much as i try to get my novice clan members to try more weapons rather than the OP stuff, i've failed. Unfortunately there's the wiki, youtube, forums and random ppl in the game telling "skip all this content and get this weapon/warframe"

Im telling this because some of my novice members have been playing for like 2 weeks and they are already bored, they spent the 1st week farming boltor prime and rhino prime and the 2nd week smashing everything, now i see them in the chat saying "what to do? im bored" and their mastery rank is 5-6.

That's the level of fun this kind of people have in this game , forcing them to go through stuff they obviously don't care or find fun will lead to same result only slower.

In my opinion (and ofc its my opinion, so if you dont agree pls keep it clean) the top DPS weapons, such as boltor prime, should have a high mastery rank lock or (and i kinda like this idea) the Void itself should be locked until you complete X planet or X number of planets...Or, each void tower having its own rank requirement (like, MR 3 for T1, MR 6 for T2 and MR 8 for T3) This will not only prevent low rank players getting OP stuff and getting bored, but also high rank players having to babysit low rank players through 40min T3 survival for X prime part.

I was under the impression towers are easy since all the nerfs which was making them completely walk in the park so what's to babysit or the high rank players are newbs themselves or think they entitled to master race label and the rest are not worthy of their attention or help.

Most of the game content is always skiped, yes i know you are going to say "because there are better options" and i agree with you, but you can do perfectly fine with most weapons in low to mid levels and if you are a novice player these are the levels you are going to be playing.

Unless those weapons are at least half modded and/or have a potato they completely useless on those mid levels (or most of them).Considering people actually sell basic unranked mods for frames/weapons i'd say the new players have it hard already in going the long walk of grind and rng.

You might be thinking "you can level the cr@p out of all weapons in Sechura and get a high mastery rank", yup.

That being said, i think Taxis should not be allowed, you can literaly go from Terminus to Outer Terminus and there's basically no point in having the solar system.

Most new player have no idea of dark sectors and i still see some just joining for 5 waves on DS defense then extract just like any other map you unlock , now those players might actually care to discover the game and how they do it shouldn't be lock anyways.

    My experience with warframe:

Spent the first 2 weeks unlocking the solar system, then after that i started to play void missions (because i didn't even know how they worked, i wasn't in a clan), and i can tell you i had lots of fun doing it, i still do (1000+ hours played)

I tend not to use strong weapons unless im playing a long survival/defense because the mobs are weak anyways.

I did exactly the same ,  first thing i did was unlock entire solar system , but back then was a bit easier for new players even to solo their way ; maybe even more fun , but what's/or was fun for me or you doesn't mean it's going to be fun for others.

    My suggestions:

1-No taxis (better encouragement to unlock to solar system in order to have access to alerts/invasions)

2-Mastery rank lock for the void or having to complete X planet to get in the void (Like having to kill Alad V or another corpus boss in order to get access to the void since they can actually get in the void, right?)

3-High mastery lock for top DPS weapons (Ogris, Penta, Soma (rank 6 is a joke, unless they do something like suggestion 1 and 2) Boltor prime, etc)

You may agree or disagree, but i think this will lengthen the game life, allow novice players to explore the game content and even have more fun.

I know what you are going to say, "what if they have fun doing it?", i know ive seen it in other threads, but think about the new players, with lots of hours of fun ahead exploring the game content, getting materials for them, and then another guy taking them to the void to get the top DPS weapon in the game when they havent even maxed their MK-1.

As the leader of a mountain clan with quite a few novice players i can tell you that this (what i just wrote) is a problem.

    Thanks.

    Final conclusion:

let those who are dedicated be dedicated and discover the game their way as long as they seem fit and fun , and let those who just passing by to pass by and move on , on other games that might fit them better and are more fun for them.

Until DE actually implement a story a progress line and they will in due time(U14 seems a start) there's nothing to encourage you to go on that dedicated way , unless you have fun doing so even if there's no "narrative line" for it for you do so, and let's be honest new player nowadays have it bad than the rest who started way back , personally i think the dmg 2.0 kinda didn't include the new players in the equation.

P.S. : most of the skippers are kids.

  10. I think the problem is the Dark Sector part altogether ,  if anything that has been proven so far , is the the fact that most people just don't care that much about conquer/dominate thing system.

If i was in DE place i would remove the dark sectors and replace it with permanent infested maps and work on different approach of pvp , like implementing other game types like quake arena, maybe quake wars , fast paced pvp with only the element of fun , i find the more suitable for the game type Warframe is , maybe melee only type of pvp modes and knowing dedicated servers might be a problem they could work on ai enemies to substitute the player element , it wouldn't be any different than is now since there's no actual pvp on dark sector either.

Dark Sectors seems more of a strategy game which this game really isn't.

  11. well can hope the update that is coming actually fixes the main issues that allow permanent monopoly on rails without any kind of drawbacks - like every new rail owned increases the maintenance costs. Natural rail degradation  - so they do need to repair even if they wont get attacked (if the same rail has stayed up for a long time).

Its a completely locked system - once you get a rail or two and set a tax, u wont lose it - instead u get more funds to expand. That's how things would work in real life - but its a horrible system for a game where you are supposed to have fun.

But the dark sectors as any pvp game type it's about dominance and those solutions i see them in making people increase taxes even more or those who didn't had tax to actually make tax , but maybe that would be a better idea because will make everyone would have tax and make the dark sectors more competitive.

There is drawbacks in having a monopoly everyone will attack you and having to deal on multiple fronts at same time.

I think the problem is the pvp/type of pvp just haven't fit Warframe that good yet.I would like to see how many people actually like and don't care/dislike pvp from the current players base.

and i found this in another thread , thanks to @Azawarau

  12. Are you guys been reading the messages on from both sides seems more of a passive attack , not being serious about it and just to stop others that might be actually serious attacking there.

And being eclipse attacking there will actually help the owner free the rail faster considering the other attacks on free nodes , starting to think it's all a big conspiracy theory all along.

  13. What i'm finding surprising is how long this circus is allowed to go on,in other games mentioning all this and other posts and threads i seen on general forums about anyone , may it be one single person or a guild , it's considered harassment and gets the thread or posts closed/deleted.

This is not healthy for the game or its community in any way you look at it.

This would have been and is an actually good suggestion and should have gone in the suggestions thread without that extra "hint" in the title , as far as i know DE is in charge of developing this game not some x or y regular players.

If you have proof of someone breaking the rules in any way then you go with that information and report that  party to people that can take action via tickets and actually make them pay for it.

  14. The dark sectors are mostly for experience and resources , i mean how many time you can spam 5 waves for just some credits before you get bored.

And just tax on credits there's no real profit there for the any alliance that holds that rail , cause those credits has no way to go than back to the dark sectors , you don't take it home with you that's for sure.

    And either way you look:

it's all about the credits be it 0% or not tax , cause after all your statements look we don't tax get free credits while the others look we tax you and give you decent battle pays and still can get credits from their tax rails also ,unless they have a really insane high tax (more credits again ,big deal, soon there be so many credits spread out there they won't count for nothing but ofc people will still do it for the credits - better to have than to end up lacking,no?), so unless someone start to tax resources you all stress yourselves for nothing.

  15. Also

-Why not adding more warframe power mods sets with the condition that you can't combine the sets with each other or no 2 powers of same type(e.g.: can't equip x2 ulti or x2 power a , b or c , instead of chopping the less we have ,that will make builds more versatile and also fun.

Tho this kinda adds to this point just more elaborated but it's also a solution for all frames:

-Offer more build option like a "battle cleric" with less heal or mostly healing just yourself a bit and do more damage , i'm sure most will say darn heal and support the team let's have a blast.

I'm for balance not by cutting off but adding more,i'm sure that will solve seeing same build over and over ,just like spreading the drops to more enemies so you don't do same map over and over fighting the rng and end up getting bored about it, there is constructive solutions let's use those instead.

  16. -For those who want bigger challenge : go solo! there's no bigger challenge than that.

-Look at all the other games that have healers , they can keep you alive forever with a pure healing build the only difference is they spam more the x or y or a chain of powers instead of one like here , now why is just one here because that's what fits this type of game or at least how the game is now , unless the DE comes up with a total rework of trinity skills and be viable solution to the ability to keep your team alive endlessly like a pure healer will do (tho the result would be pretty much the same as it is now) , it's not something unheard of.

-Not everyone plays trin + ogris or trin + castanas or any other weapon combos,it does require a lot of focus to keep an eye on the bless time in the intensity of the fight, may it be just to many enemy may it be the life support or pod health or any other things you have keep an eye in a mission. The game is not about lasting longer it's about killing faster but you'll never kill that fast enough when the enemy can one shot you and yes not all have your uber weapons builds or what ever , so it doesn't really matter how invincible you are you still gonna get overrun and you can still fail the mission.

-Offer more build option like a "battle cleric" with less heal or mostly healing just yourself a bit and do more damage , i'm sure most will say darn heal and support the team let's have a blast.

-Remove the aoe of the blessing let it affect just trinity if it just kills the fun for other because they feel invincible. /sarcasm

-How you play and with who you play it's entirely up to you , public party as been said are random if you chose that was your choice as is the lag it might come with it , as is afk ppl that comes with it and so on , the only one who really benefits from those parties are the new starter players and the more is your frame modded the more helpful will be for them to advance through the game.

-Why is never a pool or a thread or both from DE when they decide to change , nerf , balance a frame ability or whole set and spam a link in game to get all player come forward and state the opinion or solutions. What am i to think they just take decisions based on few or some who don't like a x frame or a x power while the rest of community it's left to hang and see what they will end up with and like or not.
