  1. Favourite colours.

Next time you are customizing, right click the colours you use most often, it will allow you to do most customization without flipping through the clunky palette interface.

This is meant to be a convenient quality of life change. Yes I can bookmark all my important files so I can search for them easier, but isn't more convenient to just put all those files in one folder?

Still have to click 20 times to apply all colors.

    Ditto

  2. Steve took the faction reputation gains and multiplied them by 10. I would say that DE rejects most things that reduce grind, but not all.

But they put in a daily cap which indirectly increases grind.

  3. ...no, lol.

Nobody forced you to potato that item, and pretty much any item is subject to be primed, wraith'd, vandalized or +1UP'd. DE needs a source of income.

It's not that any1 forced me to potato; it's the fact that making my weapon stronger actually makes me weaker...which makes no sense.

Think about it like this. You're going to potato and forma your D.Nikana anyway. What's the harm in having the normal Nikana potatoed while farming for the D.Nikana? Why shouldn't it transfer to the D.Nikana?

20 plat is all that going to be spent regardless. DE is not losing money at all, in fact more potatoes will be bought since they will be a whole lot more useful. You essentially just buy the same single potato earlier thus resulting in faster profit for DE.

  4. Let's say someone just replaced their Rhino with Rhino Prime; however, the player then realizes that their original Rhino is better for one simple reason: it has a reactor while the Prime does not.

Primes should be better than originals but they simply can't if the original has a potato and they don't.

Furthermore, if the player decides to leave their original weapon/frame unpotatoed while farming for the Prime than they will be at a disadvantage. It's a Lose-Lose situation.

Situations like these show that progress is actually punishing the player.

So my idea is to implement a potato salvage mechanic to the foundry.

With this new mechanic you can select any potatoed weapon/frame and initiate a 5 minute wait time.

After 5 minutes the selected item will be destroyed and one catalyst/reactor will be received.

Pretty simple and allows original equipment to, in some sense, be used for Primes.

EDIT: this will also work for forma as well. (thanks to Drunken_Child for reminding about Forma)

  5. What? You're expecting rational design decisions with the player's interest in mind from DE!? HA! Good one!

F2P is F2P; as long as games like Warframe exist, everything in the gaming industry will be focused on grind.

After all why would any company ever treat you fairly? They would lose profit by doing so.

  6. And yet it won't ever be a thing.

    That's the problem with Warframe.

Nothing but ignorant incompetents too frightened to witness any amount of change good or bad.

It amuses me how you rashly rush to end this conversation without any amount of reason to back up your argument.

Proves that you're losing like always.

Dynamic plat discount is indeed a good idea; however, a sizable credit cost rush is quite simply better on all fronts.

The amount of credits you have is directly in the player's control thus being able to spend it on something meaningful gives the player a sense of satisfaction. Plat on the other hand is not in your control as it is much harder to obtain.

  7. the whole reason crafting items takes time to begin with is that it drives the monetized feature of skipping that delay.

If we sink our credits and ducats that means we are spending more time on the game thus being more likely to spend platinum. Very simple concept.

More game time=higher chance of spending platinum.

An additional method of rushing can only be positive.

  8. All I can say is yes. The RNG has become so atrociously dire that nearly any solution, good or not, is needed. ANYTHING is better than nightmare RNG we have now.

The fact that DE does nothing about RNG has infuriated me lately; there are so many amazing feedback threads with well thought out logical solutions backed by reliable scientific data yet DE completely ignores the feedback forum entirely and just lets each and every thread die as they carry on with their "false promise" policy demonstrated in nearly every Devstream.

  9. BECAUSE DE NEEDS MONEY TO MAKE GAME GO VROOM VROOM AND KEEP WORKING. :D

(sorry for caps, but i don't have patients for single minded people)

They already get a large sum from Prime Access, cosmetics potatoes, etc. that are all usually permanent investments unlike rushing a weapon which is temporary as it does nothing more than get the weapon to you faster. Such a trivial mechanic needs trivial funds as well which in this case would be credits/ducats. There is simply no reason not to implement a credit/ducat cost to rushing. it's only logical.

("patients?" Are u a doctor? I find that very hard to believe given your grammatical caliber which so clearly matches your intellectual incompetence, you pathetic peasant.)
