  1. Ok, again: You shoot 10 pellets. You have 120% multishot. 10*220%=22. That means 22 pellets per shot. Guaranteed. Every time. It will only be useful for weapons with, say, 8 pellets. Since 8*220%=17.i'm-too-lazy-to-calculate.

    Your fix still does way less for shotguns than for primaries and secondaries.

    K I forgot about pellet count my bad. In this case the old Multishot will be kept ONLY on shotguns and renamed from "+120% Multishot" to "+120% Pellet Count" 

    Two separate mechanics will exist.

     

    The main target for the fix is Split Chamber. (Dual-Rounds too but I don't play AW.)

  2. I agree with this but you forgot to mention scattered justice with its +200% multishot for the hek, making it +320% with both

    That's not really important though since the 200% is guaranteed. The 20% is not and will rarely proc which is the main problem with Multishot.

     

    Funny idea. Tho I don't really see any issue, since 90% are actually quite reliable in my eyes.

    Side note: Shotguns work differently. They shoot a certain amount of pellets. Like, 10 pellets per round. So 120% multishot gives 12 additional pellets. Thus your idea would do nearly to nothing for shotguns.

    It's still a static damage and status increase for shotguns regardless and makes Hell's Chamber worth more.

  3. I believe multishot is a little gimmicky if not broken currently. 

    Multishot is only good when you have alot of it which is partly the reason why secondaries perform much better than primaries.

    They get 180% (assuming you're running the standard Barrel Diff + Lethal Torrent combo) which translates into 1 extra bullet and an 80% chance for another bullet on top of that which means a guaranteed 100% bonus damage and status chance along with an 80% chance for an additional 100% bonus damage and status chance all for a total of 300% damage and status chance on the weapon.

     

    However Split chamber is pitiful standing at 90%.

    Yes you have a 90% chance to double your damage and status chance but in high tier missions this takes on a much darker meaning. You have a 10% chance to deal half damage which is absolutely crippling to most primaries used in high tier content.

    Think about the Paris Prime that only shoots 1 arrow at a time or snipers which are supposed to be one-shot one kill.

    Thanks to Split Chamber's low value, you have a 10% chance of not dealing enough damage to kill that Bombard or Heavy Gunner at 40+ minutes in T4 Survival. Even worse, there are nullifiers to make single shot weapons even more useless.

     

    Hell's Chamber isn't so bad since it's above 100% but what about that 20% left? The chance is so small that there isn't a reason to go above rank 4 on it and shotguns are already known to be incredibly weak.

     

    Yet Secondaries, especially the Synoid Gammacor, dominate high tier content since they are guaranteed to deal atleast double or triple damage with very little risk.

     

    So as it stands now, Multishot is what dominates a weapon's usefulness but it still very gimmicky as it is largely based on RNG.

     

    So my solution is to modify how Multishot works and what it means.

     

    Instead of having a chance to shoot another bullet, any amount of multishot, whether it is 1% or 1000%, will cause your weapon to fire an additional shot, but at a cost.

    (going above 100% will add another shot.)

    Multishot causes your gun to fire additional shots at a modified value based on the multishot given.

     

    For example, Split Chamber would give my gun a 100% chance to shoot another shot; however, this additional shot will have 90% of the original shot's status chance and damage value. 

    So essentially, +90% Multishot = +90% damage and status chance.

    This would be a huge buff to rifles as they are longer based on RNG and can pump out consistent damage now.

     

    Hell's Chamber would cause your gun to shoot 2 additional shots, one at 100% of the original's value and another at 20% of the original's value. This would buff Shotguns and make their damage much more consistent similar to rifles while justifying the need to go above rank 4 on Hell's Chamber.

    EDIT: completely forgot about pellet count my bad.

     

    Barrel Diffusion + Lethal Torrent would cause 2 additional shots to be fired, 1 at 100% value and the other at 80% value.

    This would slightly nerf Secondaries since instead of having a high chance to deal 300% damage they would always deal a consistent 280% damage, but secondaries already dominate the game so this isn't much to worry about.

     

    What this change would do is buff all rifles but slightly nerf secondaries while fixing a interesting yet gimmicky mechanic.

     

    Let me know what you all think about this potential fix!

     

     

     

    EDIT: forgot about Archwings lol. This is important for them too since Dual-Rounds only provides 30% Multishot.

    This means that 70% of the time, the mod does not even work and is useless.

  4. I often play the ones with sub 10% tax, small enough that I hardly notice, while giving me a easy infested farm.. Now, why anyone would play a high tax map is beyond me.

    Remember when ICE had Sechura on 100% taxes? I was curious myself and queued for a group and still got them just as frequently as before. Players are desperate for EXP in this grind heavy game.

    Also i'd love for you to prove how the gun is bad when it's a direct upgrade to the overall best gun.

     

    You do the mission 15 times butt he missions them selves take 5 minutes to complete.

     

    This is just pure unfiltered whining.

    Itzal and Elytron are undeniably better than Odonata but they're so hard to get...oh wait I can buy an overpriced pack to get them! no way! what a coincidence!

    Also Archwings are still affected by mods like Rifle Amp, Energy Siphon, Rage, etc.

    There is a significant power curve that comes when replacing any of the start AW equipment.

    Velocitus still beats everything by a significant margin, heck, even the Fluctus is better than the Vandal. Sure it's an upgrade but it's still bad compared to other weapons.

     

    I could go on and on and on but i'm not wasting anymore time discussing broken content with flaming trolls.

    Mod please lock the thread before this degenerates any further.

  6. The game is been out 2 years, has changed completely once already, and has the same game depth as a kiddies pool. You can pick everything you need to know in a couple of hours.

     

    Try doing that with EvE Online.

     

    Come on. This is one of the easiest pick up and play games I have EVER seen. I can teach someone how to play an entire Frame in a handful of play session. Do you have ANY idea how long it takes to teach players just to fly around in EvE without getting their asses blown up at gates every 5 minutes?

     

    Knowledge is also based on complexity. Knowledge in pac-man is rather meaningless compared to knowledge in chess mechanics, or GO for example.

     

    The end line is, people here do not "deserve" anything special for long time play, especially because of how easy everything is, and the fact there is ZERO consequences for screwups anyway.

    Game Knowledge is knowledge regardless of how little it is.

    I can tell from your past posts that you're a troll so off to the ignore list you go!

    Go away and play EvE and Chess if you like them so much.

    This frame is THE true masterrace, capable of everything at any time (assuming Loki has enough energy to do its magic), it's a god tier frame, not overused toy like Rhino.

    Actually let's give it the Mega Rayquayza treatment and give him his own tier.

  8. Trinity is definitely Never Used even though she can go Godmode and effectively decide the course of the battle with massive heals and free energy...yet I have not seen a single Trinity in a Void mission other than myself.

    Trinity is SO unappreciated.

    Every-time I heal a noob Rhino at 10hp and give him 99% damage reduction after face tanking a horde of Gunners and Bombards you know what he says? "omg noob trin isn't using EV so noob I coulda used Iron Skin so bad go uninstall why did you pick trin you noob."

     

    Nova is Over Used without a doubt. M.Prime is just too good.

    Frost is OU by default for Defense missions.

    Ember is RU

    as for NU...."what's a mag?"

    You know what I think would be neat? If we can use excess amounts of resources to boost the crafting speed by 25%. Let's say you need double the amount of resources to craft the heat dagger. You start crafting it, but you have too much of the resources. You can then pour it into dagger while it's crafting and the time taken is cut down by 25%.

    I actually really like that idea, but it should definitely be higher than 25% though. Atleast 75% if not instant.

    BUT

    Slight problem there. DE makes money off charging people plat to speed things up.

  10. We will never have "endgame" because...well its ENDgame.

    If the game "ends" then DE won't make money because players will stop playing once they've hit this theoretical end of the game.

    Besides what would secret bosses reward? 

    Fusion Cores? Nope, it reduces grinding

    Forma? If it helps you grind faster than no.

    Potatoes? Ditto
    Anything that results in less grind means less money spent and less money is a big no-no for DE.

  12. The concept of Void Keys is just broken in general.

    Having to grind to farm a key that will allow me to grind to get better at grinding and then having to RE-UNLOCK A MISSION I'VE ALREADY RIGHTFULLY TRIUMPHED OVER AND UNLOCKED BEFORE is just hilarious.

    Void missions should already be unlocked and start at T1 and after each tier you unlock the next. It just makes sense...except in F2P games where greedy developers need to create ludicrous settings that provide an excuse for more grinding.

  13. Considing how trivial the investment is, it's certainly worth it.

     

    Balor missions came down to only a few minutes a day for about a week. Gee, that's some serious time investment. Not.

     

    What I am seeing is a serious sense of entitlement and it's unwarranted.

    Some of us went through this horrid, unbearable, P2Win content called "Archwing" 15+ times and what do we get? More useless S#&$ that does not properly rewards us for the sheer utter hell those AW missions were. Seriously, an emblem or even a pat on the back is more satisfying than 2 S#&$ty mods and a S#&$tier gun that is nothing but mastery fodder. 

    Oh wait, leveling AW equipment take so @(*()$ long (even with boosters) that you can't even use it as mastery fodder.

    And don't forget about the numerous bugs, connectivity issues, arc net bullS#&$, times where we loaded into the mission already dead, etc.

    ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS EVENT.

    I do believe it but i'm still playing because I bought the Prime Access and if I don't play while the boosters are still up then I feel Buyer's Remorse QQ

    Although veterans are mostly ignored, they aren't being punished too hard...for now.

    Even If I wasn't playing I still feel the urge to warn others about the game.

    I've already addressed  posts like yours in multiple threads: If I was a free player I would definitely quit, but I was silly enough to waste money on Prime Access so might as well enjoy all the P2Win aspects before DE really screws over the vets.

  15. OF course, if this is so, DE is shooting themselves in the foot. They're sacrificing long-term player-base for short term monetary gains. I thought they were smarter than that...

    Current trends in the gaming industry prove that short term monetary gains are the best kind of gains for developers.

    As I said before, developers do not need a long term player base to make a profit anymore now that F2P exists so catering to new players and tempting them to spend money is not only a better alternative but it is easy, efficient, practical, and monstrously more effective than caring about veterans.

    After all, newbies have no clue about the flaws of Warframe that would prompt a veteran player to leave so they're more likely to spend money before they realize it's too late.

  16. DirectX11 and 10 cause the game to be incredibly blurry as they can't seem to anti-alias, super sample, or load Warframe's unique textures.

    This is frustrating because using Directx9 is inefficient and causes performance drops but renders Warframe's textures perfectly fine.

    Dx11 needs to be fixed ASAP

     

    EDIT: Text is blurred too so it's not DoF or Motion Blur

     

    EDIT#2: it seems to be random. I turned off all outside variable (Nvidia Control Panel and injectors.) and it worked fine for one session and than the problem came back when I re-launched Warframe when I had not tampered with any of the settings.
