while I did like how Darling in the FranXX started out , the final peace of the arc not only felt rushed but also terible wich ruined entire show

May I ask why you think that the latter half of the show was terrible and ruined the series? I saw this kind of comment on crunchyroll throughout all the episodes, but after watching it myself, I'm just failing to understand why some people think that. I can sympathize with it feeling a bit rushed, but I attribute that to the very core nature of the series itself more than anything. The overall/over-arcing plot was rather shallow, and really only served as a loose thread with which to tie the main characters together and keep them bound to each other and ground their own logic. The only reason why I think it felt rushed (even though I don't necessarily agree with that sentiment) was because it's not a show about the world and the events in it, rather it's a show about the characters and how they react to the events/world around them and grow/change from it. Somewhat naturally as the story starts to reach it's climax it'll start to feel rushed. Also, the show is packed full of metaphors, so not everything that's shown is necessarily meant to be taken literally and is simply symbolic of some deeper meaning.

  2. This argument is actually much older than most probably realize. Oberon was one of the first frames to combine abilities from other 'specialized' frames. I still remember threads discussing Oberon's overall worth as a frame in a squad because Trinity healed better, Nyx CC'd better, Rhino tanked better and quite a few other frames nuked rooms better(mind you this was well before Oberon's first rework). But Oberon's worth was in being able to bring 2-3 frames worth of abilities in one squad slot. Was he an endgame frame? Not really for that time, but Oberon's took kit could get the job done and opened up squad slots for other frames as he wasn't a one trick pony type.

ANYTHING is tame, compared to Kill la Kill.

See. I've never watched it. I tried, but the show pretty much lost me right from the beginning. I may eventually go back and try, but it just didn't seem like a show for me. But that's what I keep hearing, everything is tame compared to it. I love Gurren Lagann on the other hand though, and of course Darling in the Franxx is a new favorite.

The relation between those two probably looks something like this...

Not at all. Zero Two (the girl) isn't tsun.(there's another 'couple' in the show that have that trope covered) Though she does go pretty dere a few times. It's sweet though. They have a rather wonderful and very human relationship. As @AlphaPHENIX said, it's done by Trigger, who are known for the likes of Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill. This is one of only a few shows that actually had me in tears multiple times throughout (damn onion cutting ninja's, haha).

This actually happens quite a bit too:

Personally, it's made by TRIGGER and when it comes to fanservice, I trust no studio more then I do TRIGGER. Mainly because they know how to make it be a part of the story instead of just doing for the sake of doing it...and they do it well.

Fanservice? Oh yes. But not anywhere near over the top like some shows are. I'd say that it was all pretty tame in comparison.

(I think this is about as risque as the show got [bottom gif], well, other than the whole scene in the first episode where Zero Two was talking to Hiro nekkid[see below]. And of course not counting all the bloody innuendos and double entendres)

Just finished watching Darling in the Franxx. Straight to the top of the list of best animes. It's a truly amazing and beautiful series. I highly recommend going and watching it if you haven't already. I may(as in probably will very soon) get on VRV and watch the English dub of it, as it looks to be very well done.

I like energy weapons so finding the best energy weapon is what I want to do (for a mastery rank as low as mine). I like my lasers and the Dera seems to be the best embodiment of the typical laser assault rifle unless someone else knows of something else that fits like aesthetic similarly

The Corpus have a small handful of energy ARs to choose from.

From what I remember, I preferred the Tetra over the Dera, (I haven't used the Dera Vandal yet), though Tetra lacks any slash damage. Tetra felt like it hit harder, and had a heavier sound to it as well, which I liked.  As for an automatic laser gun, you honestly can't go wrong with the Supra. To me, Supra just feels right for a laser gun(even though it's technically an energy LMG, rather than an AR). But at the same time, I'm not a huge fan of the travel time energy weapons in this game have, so I generally don't use them.

  7. I'd simply like a little more control over physical appearance, gender, and breed. Unless some drastic changes have been made since it was first implemented, it's pretty RNG heavy on what you'll get, even with imprints to my knowledge.

Also, I'd love to be able to take more than two imprints from a single adult Kubrow. Make it cost credits or something after the second imprint if need be.

Also, a way to see how the Kubrow pup will look when it's fully grown would be nice. I'm sitting on 4 eggs that I don't want to bother incubating because it takes just a bit too long, in my opinion, to have a pup become fully grown to see what they look like. I actually like using my Kubrows so the time it takes to incubate a pup takes away from me being able to have my faithful companion on missions with me.

Edit: Oh, and a way to compare height of the Kubrow in the preview screen would be nice. I have a Sunika that's really tall, but the build is athletic instead of bulky. It looks great. Some of my other Kubrows look the same, but they're smaller, at least one feels a bit too small to me. If I had a way to see height I may have consigned one and re-bred an egg for a taller built Kubrow.

Earth is still incredibly unoptimized. I just tried to go through it and it shot my memory use up to 90% and, while loading, shot my CPU use up too.
I also went from a solid 40-50 FPS to 15-25 FPS.

I think DE should add a 'foliage quality' option to the display menu. Let us choose how much grass and plants we see littered across the ground.

Pre-remastered Earth, I could get 55-60fps, post remastering, I was barely able to hit 45fps. I haven't tried any missions since 21.0.5, about to hop in and try now, but I don't have high hopes for the tileset if we can't somewhat control how much is trying to be rendered in a tile at once.

Edit: Okay, I played a mission or two on Earth after 21.0.5, the smoothness of moving on the tileset has improved, but I'm still struggling to get to 45-50fps.

  9. I like the idea of allowing the idle stance to be enabled, but being able to disable the idle animation.

    +1 OP.

Edit: To add to the list of annoying idle animations that don't fit other frames, Nekros Noble idle anim. Love the way he stands and holds weapons, very much dislike the animation based on his ult.

  10. It seems that Scourge's beams are now passing though enemies in certain instances.

Yesterday I was farming Javlok capacitors on Ceres and was using my Scourge. Everything seemed fine, so long as the dot on the crosshair was on the enemy(not accounting for lead when they were moving), the beam hit and did damage.

Today it seems, as I was continuing to farm Javlok capacitors, the dot on the crosshair had to be almost exactly center mass of the target for hits to register. I couldn't seem to aim for headshots, and shots that should have connected at the shoulders or legs simply seemed to pass through. It wasn't lag as I play solo, so no host connections to deal with. I've only seen this happen with Grineer, as I've only played on Ceres a few times today with Scourge. I'm unsure if this extends to other factions or not.

Is anyone else noticed this happening since the latest patch, 21.0.4?

Actually quite the opposite keys were about ~24 keys but with relics you are almost triple that(without unvaulting ~58) but triple or more with unvaulting ~64. Even though they can keep it in check the relics is saturation in a different way, as in the more stuff are vaulted/unvaulted(until last prime that has no relics comes out) and new primes are made we will continuously have new relics coming out the wood works. If they werent attempting to be more forth coming with the info on relics and many other rewards, i hope, this would be an utter mess, if it isnt already, keeping track of every single relic and its tables and where they drop.

Everything else i agree with you.

I'm not sure you understood what I was getting at with my comment to relic saturation. I was referring to the saturation of rewards from the relics/keys, not the relics/keys drops from the solar system themselves.

The relics each hold 6 loot items that can drop. The old keys system, some keys had upwards of 10 different loot items, maybe more if I'm not remembering correctly. It was really silly.

A good example of what I meant would be the old survival keys. 3-5 drops on A rotation, 3-5 drops on B rotation, and 4 or so drops on C rotation. Now, it's only 6 items per rotation and we have some control over what 6 items are in the loot table, you just have to have more than one relic to run a full A/A/B/C rotation and you're guaranteed one of those six each time you select that relic. Want something different? Select a different relic.

The only way to get loot drop tables like the old key system now would be to run a pub fissure mission, where you don't know what relics are being brought into the mission. Otherwise, you'll have up to 4 chances at the 6 loot items per relic because you've made or joined a squad that is running a specific relic.

  12. The Sicarus Prime still sort of struggles against higher level enemies. I've been playing around with mine a lot more since the most recent buff. While my builds are far from optimal for the meta and/or conventional, I've tried maxed out damage builds(minus rivens, as I've yet to complete The War Within) and others(like crit, etc.) and it still isn't near as powerful vs. high level enemies like Lex Prime can be.

Of course, this is just my experience with Sicarus Prime.

  13. Just now, Aurea_Hiigara said:

With relics, why are we still vaulting primes in the first place?

Because the drop tables for relics are likely just as saturated as the old key drop tables. Swapping relics in and out lets DE keep the drop table saturation in check, it also allows access to the loot even if the relic can't be obtained in-game due to being vaulted.

Plus, vaulting and unvaulting primes is a way to gain revenue for DE. It's far from the worst business model out there for a free to play game, especially with the way the relic system works.

  14. If the only way to collect the vaulted relics is by unvaulting the prime for direct purchase, then I say yes, they should.

Not everyone buys the unvaulted items, and I'm sure there are plenty like me that would rather grind for the parts than just outright buy them/it. Alternatively, it allows those that sell sets and individual parts to replenish their stock.

Edit: While the current situation with relics isn't the best, in my opinion, it's sure as hek better than the old system where primes were vaulted and completely unobtainable until an unvaulting. At least with the relics, you can keep them after they've been vaulted and still get the drops from them.

  15. I think it'd be nice to have the option to use the old look of it. The druid inspiration in Oberon's design never really clicked or interested me all that much(plus, he's pretty much been paladin themed from day one, with a bit of druid in his powers sprinkled in), so grass/plants for the hallowed ground ability just seems really out of place. (unless of course you can use the old Hallowed Ground effect, I haven't used Oberon since the change, so I'm not 100% sure if you can or cannot)

Also, DE needs to add a foliage quality setting in game. The new Earth tileset has caused my FPS to tank when on those tiles with all the plants around. Used to get 55-60fps now I'm barely hitting 45fps on Earth.

  16. I like the first two.

A roar CC for spectral scream, like when using his ult, could even be tailored to the element you're using. Fire elements cause a fire DoT/CC effect, ice causes a slowing CC effect, electric causes the electricity CC, and viral/toxin does... something... yeah... that's the only one I'm drawing a blank on for a CC effect.

  17. Dear lord, the nostalgia from some of those sound effects.

I wasn't in CBT, but a handful of those sounds carried over into U7+, I remember a few. Particularly the engergy pickup sound, that one was around for awhile.

On topic: I'd like to see larger tiles, like that one hangar tile on the Corpus Outpost tileset. I think that's the largest tile we have in game right now and I'd love to see more like it. Most of the tiles feel too congested and/or claustrophobic, especially at the speeds we can move around with.
