  1. Im not responding to these bad faith essays. Yall know exactly how overguard is functional invicibility. Stop. Warframe is already the easiest game on steam, overguard makes it so much even easier its becoming pointless to play
  2. While it is nice to be functionally invincible, part of the fun of any game is challenge. Simultaneously, invincibility is most fun when its a temporary reward for accomplishing a certain task, or when its at random, offering a limited window either way of pure power. With Styanax, Dante, Frost and Kullervo running around, basically every pub game now is effectively a full map simulacrum, allowing the player to just spam weapons and abilities with no consequences. While that may be appealing on paper, in practice it robs each frame of its identity and playstyle by no further virtue than eliminating half of their gameplay: survivability. Mesa’s peacemakers are only as fun as managing to stay alive as mesa with an eximus butcher running at you allows it to be. Ivara’s big pp damage from prowl bonus is only as fun as avoiding nullifiers and acolytes who can see you allows it to be. Nidus’ dance between tanking and pumping out huge damage from his abilities and weapons is only as fun as managing your stacks allows it to be. In a word: macro. Macro is what makes games fun and overguard kills macro. I dont know what the solution to this problem would be and indeed, i dont think sharing overguard should be removed outright, but power isnt really power if its basically free, and overguard makes that abundantly clear.
  3. Yeah i fr dont get what de’s problem is with giving power to frames who actually need it meanwhile meta frames get buffed routinely lol. Even in pvp games, its better to buff weak things rather than take away strong things. Theres no reason chroma cant be broken like most other frames in the game but de wants to have their cake and eat it too in the form of “designing around the power fantasy” but also nerf stuff if pablo doesnt personally care about/like a frame. Consistent disappointment from DE, as always
  4. Nah its dog S#&$. No where in the game does nidus need 4k extra health (assuming at base he has around 1000) except content where he needs more armor/dr, which he doesnt have access to if hes linked to an ally rather than an enemy. 5k health is cool but enemies over lvl 500/1000 (which, again, is the only place hed benefit from extra health as anything below that level is tankable with just adaptation) is nothing for high lvl enemies who will shred that health instantly. Only exception here would be linking to styanax since yoire getting overguard but even then at that point the augment is useless as your health is irrelevant when overguarded. I love nidus but this augment is trash
  5. Title says it. We have i think like 4 floating animation sets but none of them work beyond idle animations, which while fine for social hubs, is a little disappointing in mission when you go from floating to just regular walking. Thanks
  6. Alright i have no idea how to describe the problem because the problem is so confusing its incoherent. Controller support is seriously f’d up. Im using a switch pro controller and none of the abilities correspond to the buttons theyre assigned to, and this is true not only terms of the ui labels for each button, but the position of the buttons on the controller and on the screen. Again, if what im saying doesnt make sense, thats for a reason: controller support makes absolutely 0 sense to the point that the game is literally unplayable with a controller (also, how are people supposed to aim and move at the same time on touchscreen lol?) Please keep in mind i tried everything from manually remapping buttons to where they should be, to switching from “auto detect” (note, it thinks my pro controller is an xbox controller) to manually selecting Nintendo Switch controller and literally nothing works. Im glad mobile is here but man this app is no where near ready to be released but i guess thats the DE way. What a let down
  7. *make an ios account first, then go through the website and use the cross save for ios DONT USE THE FACE ID sign in with a different account then put in your normal apple id info in then it should work*

  9. Still getting “log in failed” everytime i try to log into this website anytime i use my ios account (trying to cross save onto mobile). Have already merged my account to a pc account. Dont understand why i cant log into my ios account in the website when others have apparently been able to already
  10. Making it a toggle ability would more or less ruin the theme of the ability and make it functionally indistinct from an equinox ability, which while fitting for equinox is not fitting for mirage. Instead, make it a tap rotate ability (ivara quiver, vauban orbs) and whichever its on, youll get the associated bonus if in the correlating condition but if leaving the dark/light area, retain the buff for 5-10 seconds which scales with duration (so if you leave a light area, youll retain the damage buff for 10-20 seconds with 200 duration etc). This allows the buff to still be conditional while allowing for greater player control of the ability without just turning it into an optional buff that has no condition, something which effectively breaks the ability in favor of damage or dr indefinitely. Eclipse should be conditional for how strong it is no matter what.
  11. Yeah i dont think it should be an adapter incarnon at all. With few exceptions, the adapter series is largely disappointing so while daikyu incarnon could use some love, again id much rather have a zariman incarnon bow rather than just an adapter slapped on an existing bow. The bow changing into a crossbow (rather than just getting tendrils that invalidate your skin like on adapters) is just esthetic of course but a huge part of the appeal for me Plus, theres already too many incarnon adapter weapons and so short of just making it where every week you can just choose any incarnon adapter that you want instead of waiting 2 months for the rotation, i think a zariman incarnon is just plainly the better idea in every way. I dont want another “this weapon does aoe heat now”, i want a bow with decent stats on par with phenmor/laetum that on headshots turns into a crossbow on par with those weapons incarnon forms, so not gamebreaking but a healthy side grade alternative like the rest of the zariman incarnons
  12. Title says it. Paris and Dread are just discount Nataruks that still pale in comparison to it, and unfortunately, these are the only bows we have. Weapon could go the laetum/phenmor of non crit 2000% damage etc, but it could also be a crit monster as we already have mutalist cernos for status bow. Bolts could do a small aoe like laetum or zhuge, but not necessary imo as an incarnon crossbow form functioning like zhuge without the reload would be devistating enough on its own, similar to how phenmor is. Now i wouldnt suggest an incarnon adapter per se as were really only left with Cernos/prime and Mutalist Cernos, and while an incarnon form could be intetesting on either of those, id say a full incarnon weapon from cavalero might be more in order as we havent had any new zariman incarnons in a while. Either would work, but for my money id be more partial to a new weapon entirely as we dont yet have a zariman incarnon bow and less importantly, i think esthetically a bow transforming to a big ol crossbow similar to nagantaka size would be sick looking.
  13. Be that as it may as a general, in an ideal “modding” system, stuff like QoL should have their own reserved spots or even load entirely rather than having everything crammed into 9 slots. Now, in this ideal scenario, modding wouldnt need those quotations above as it would be a true modding system: a section for damage, a section for qol, a section for stats etc, in the spirit of true modding systems (think web systems like albion, d2 or even the skill tree from ff10). But if were stuck with the entirely rudimentary and crude system we have for modding, at a minimum, exilus should allow QoL mods so were free to use the 8 main slots for damage, multi shot and stats. Silencing weapons, projectile speed, zoom, ammo conversion etc, are all QoL mods and they all can go in exilus, as such a QoL mod like reload speed should also be able to go there, as it is a QoL mod first and a stat mod second
  14. Sorry, i know the title is a mouthful but im not sure what to call the process. That out of the way, when you go to enable cross save, the website asks what platform(s) you plan on playing on. While obviously the mobile client isnt out yet (february maybe?), for those of us planning to go to mobile (i dont have any other consoles nor a pc nor do i plan on getting any), it would be nice to be able to select Mobile as an option so that we can enable cross trade. Thanks
  15. Definitely. Not exactly what i was talking about but hey man, never a bad time to point out exactly how many dead end roads/content islands the developers have sent us down so you get a Like from me. Will say tho, as much as i haaaate Operator/drifter and feel like their inclusion in the lore as 3rd party characters (rather than first person silent protagonists) completely broke any immersive quality in warframe, i have to push back against this idea that theyre just stat sticks. Operator/drifter/amp is the single most important thing in warframe. playing the game without all waybounds/all focus schools maxed is playing an extremely easy game on hard mode for no reason. You can grind focus via thraxx or whatever other methods, but the simple reality is if you want your focus schools done, you need to do eidolons/cascade etc and In order to do that, you need a good amp. In order to get a good amp, you need to do eidolons/fortuna/little duck grind, all of which are easier with a strong operator/drifter etc.. Im not saying operatir/drifter is a good thing, but playing it as merely an energy econ (zenurik is worse focus school mind you) or a revive stick (unairu best) is a severe self handicap for no reason. Also and in much shorter form, archguns and by extension nechs are actually even lessful than youve painted them here as because arch guns and nechs dont have the same mod options as frames and their weapons (nevermind arcanes), they function at some single digit percent of power that the right frame and weapon combo can get. As a speed runner of eidos and both orb ladies, i cannot stress enough how useless nech (yes, arquebex) is in those game modes compared to even the dumbest warframe loadout for those modes. Nechs are bad and theyll never be good and thats fine. We dont need them.
