  1. After being downed in Sanctuary, i revived myself just as a host migration kicked in and left me as the last player in the squad

migration sorts itself out, i am in Operator mode, get gunned down instantly, and on return to warframe i am left in a 'Camera mode'. Player model is invisible, i can't attack or use abilities, jump/crouch, anything. I was able to crawl along and move slightly faster when hitting the run key. I was able to collect efficiency stimuli, and collision with enemies didn't alert them to my presence.

Suprisingly, got the next portal to activate, so i went ahead and hopped through to see if it would reset the bug, but it didn't change my problem, tile and enemies loaded in just fine.

this was in the Grineer Galleon tile, if it helps anything

The key bindings (among other settings) are saved on the PC, not on DEs servers.

That said, each control option can be bound to two different keys, so you could in theory, bind the first set of controls to your preference, and the second set to theirs.

Also, be careful sharing two accounts on the same PC. If those two accounts interact, you might get into trouble.

we had mulled the option of the multi-key around, but wondered if it wouldn't get confusing at some point, say if i have the interact key on 'R' and the gear wheel on 'X' as primaries, and they have roll bound to 'X' and the Gear Wheel to 'R' as secondaries. Wouldn't the game try to use the primary bind first? or, make them end up rolling around as they attempt to choose some gear in the middle of a mission?

and can i ask how you mean by the accounts interacting with each other? if you mean in-game that's no worry right now, my computer would have a stroke long before we had a chance to get into a dojo or a mission. I'm not even sure if i could feasibly run two instances of the game on the same system

  3. Alright, so title being somewhat vague, here's the problem.

Say a friend wants to hop on their account on my home PC, their own linked Steam account, their own warframe profile, etc. everything  in their account(s). My keybinds seem to carry over regardless of what we do, frustrating them to no end.

is there any specific thing we can do to let them use their keybinds, rather than my wonky ones? or are we just outta luck right now?

    thanks for any replies

  4. the old end-mission music has my favor, as well as the old corrupted voices. And while i wasn't around for the corpus announcer, that would be nice to see.

and of course the drums. those beautiful drums that drive the combat, let me focus on the game and feel like i'm there, A Tenno in the fray, hearing the drums that saw me through training and urging me forward. immersion is a huge thing for me and many others, and i don't think everything should be "reset" so-to-say, but a few things definitely ought to be switched back.

  5. I'd like to look at the Quest here, since i'm not sure i can contribute to the frame itself. Specifically, the Crimson Credits.

We know the Corpus play smart, and i'd like to think that even roided up meatheads would want to have a chance of winning against the Tenno that they are inevitably going to piss off. i propose that they use the weapons lock mechanic we see in place with the sortie missions, restricting us to melee only when we enter their territory. (fist, and sparring only for extra player rage)

I also like the idea of melee enemies using the Block/Parry mechanics and maybe even the slide attacks.

(i think it would be hilarious to listen to people fighting them for the first time, going to hit them with their big sticks, when suddenly, their 1-hit weapon has been caught, yanked and their frame has been backhanded across the room by an angry buff nerd.)

And if not using that as a gang-related element, then why not a Fourth enemy that carries sparring weapons and won't hesitate to break-dance across the room to roll-kick you 20 feet into the air. (I picture a specialized enemy that takes a set of kogake and just styles around you, using the full set of attacks, including the flying roundhouse kick)

i dunno, i like the idea of a melee oriented group, but unless you do something special, everyone will blow through them with their shiny guns and not appreciate what could be a great little thing. The basic idea is to make them feel like their fighting players restricted to melee. I'm sure i wouldn't be the only one to get a kick out of something like this

  6. Bug: Fun little thing i noticed earlier.

In the Void, i watched a corrupted lancer take cover behind one of the pop-up floor covers and get sucked into the floor as the cover retracted with it leaning against it.

  7. BUG: Unable to remap keyboard controls

I wanted to try playing the PC version with my controller, and after resetting the Controller map to default, i noticed it had cleared my keyboard and mouse controls with it,

I can no longer change my controls back, as when i change a key bind, my mouse cursor disappears. It loses most of it's functionality, becomes invisible and no longer interacts with the menus unless i feel my way to the corner and first press the reset key then exit. (and by that time, i could have force quit and reloaded to the menu faster, which i did at least 3 times)

I've been struggling to change only a few keys and have found this bug at least 6 times in secession in both the liset and in mission.

(and while i'm here i'd like to ask somebody to make a default layout that is comfortable and actually makes sense instead of the nonsense default keys. this, and the issue that i can't have one button with multiple functions, ie. Reload and interact are lovely as one button.)

  8. Description: I was mucking around the new underwater tileset on Uranus and found a bug that lets me fly my Archwing through the air throughout the mission. I did find a fix in game for this.

Who: Rhino, but i suspect it will work with any frame

What: Archwing leaves the water and flies through the air

    Where: Uranus tilset

Can it be reproduced: Yes and yes, i triggered it several times to be sure

    Reproduction Steps:

1: Head to Uranus for a submersible mission (I found this one as i was looking for Tyl Regor)

2: Locate a cavern room with a geyser in the middle ( The geyser spouts periodically, during the time between spouts it acts as a sharkwing portal)

3: Wait for the Geyser to stop, jump into the pool and swim down on your sharkwing (Don't go too far down, or you'll be bumped up a little ways. You have to hover just above the invisible wall here)

4: When the geyser spouts again, you will be ejected from the water, sharkwing and all, ready to wreck shop while moving very slowly(like, REALLY slowly)

The fix: Fly yourself down to the edge of the pool to trigger the normal animation for exiting the water

  9. For Whoever works the Syndicate missions: Can we get an option as to whether or not we bring the Syndicate lackeys with us?

Namely in Extermination missions, where one can enjoy trying to stealth melee every enemy without an AI escort alerting every enemy on the planet (Namely Earth)

And if not an option to bring them along, then at least a way to tell them to use melee weapons or some form of stay/follow commands so you can hunt unimpeded?
