So for those who aren't aware, in FFXIV there's an item in inn rooms known as "The Unending Journey". This is a fun and useful item that allows you to rewatch any cutscene from a provided list, assuming you've finished the cutscene in game at least once before. This doesn't save your previous appearance at time of viewing or anything, it only takes your current appearance and inserts it as is.
I feel like this would be a useful type of item/location in the orbiter to have as it not only allows us to review cutscenes without replaying entire missions, but to insert custom and planned appearances for things like screenshots and thumbnails
I'm positive this has been suggested before, but my specific suggestion is with the use of a specifc item or location.
One such suggestion would be the window viewing port where you sit in your personal quarters
Another might be an option within the operator's chair, or somewhere else within that space
The interaction pop up could be something simple and still mystical like "reflect on your journey thus far" or "Meditate on your past"
Or just "Cutscenes" if you need something clean cut
I haven't the photoshop skills to make a mockup of the idea, but should anyone have any other ideas to add to it I feel this concept would be a useful one!
