  1. These Loki changes are... decent, I still hope DE will commit to a full rework on Loki sometimes in the future to bring his abilities up to par with modern frames. Casting Switch Teleport just for a movement buff though feels pretty weak though, I was hoping for something more offensive. Still this is miles better than what we had previously and its a step in the right direction with hopefully more steps coming. Wouldn't it be better to just give that option for all Warframes? Players that use other sources to become Invisible like Arcane Trickery, Skiajati finishers, Ghost/Stalk/Untraceable or ability augments would probably also like to be able to customize their Invisible visibility. All changes are great though. Thanks for your work on this great game.
  2. Looking forward to seeing the Inaros rework, the old sand dog has been left languishing in the sun for to long. Will there be a large focus on Warframe reworks in 2024? If so, is there perhaps any thoughts on giving Loki a rework? Decoy and Switch Teleport in particular are elegant abilities from a more civilized age in Warframe but doesn't really hold up in the current era.
  3. I absolutely hate getting this mission in certain parts of the Plains of Eidolon because the visibility of the Grineer Drone is horrendous due to the colors of the plains, the drone itself and the weird lighting in Cetus/plains, its visibility at night is even worse. I spent over 25 minutes on this part of a bounty combing through the Grineer outpost on Mount Nang because of how bad the visibility of the Grineer Drone is. Having the drone be some other colors that would have it stand out more would be a help but a better fix would to just give it a low-key audio ping to at least signal that it is near.
  4. Any word on if older content is gonna see content expansion? Maybe Railjack?
  5. You have a literal news/community panel in the right side of your orbiter. If you somehow didn't see it there then you weren't keeping yourself updated properly.
  6. They didn't feel as being in a romantic love to me. I think the love between them might be more like that of a very strong platonic and familial love between two parties that is both master/mentor and servant/student. Albrecht also had a daughter with someone else. Of course that doesn't mean he couldn't have entered into a relationship with Loid later if the mother of Euleria/Mother passed away or Albrecht just wasn't in relationship with her mother anymore but I just don't think that it was implicated as such. Loid is also technically a servant and we know how big the Orokin were on social castes, so if he were in a romantic relationship with Albrecht it might have been a forbidden one. Its also possible that the Albrecht we see in Whispers in the Walls is another Albrecht from another dimension like how the Drifter is a different variant of us, there is also his portrait where he looks far more Orokin-like. It could also just be a one-sided love with Loid having feelings for Albrecht and Albrecht respecting those feelings but not reciprocating them.
  7. This is still bad. 1800 Health is nothing at higher levels. Either the shelter should get scaling based on the companions health or shield values. They could also get the snowglobe treatment where the protective barrier is briefly invulnerable and then adds total absorbed damage to its health. Also, even with the previously suggested buffs there is still little reason to use the sanctuary/shelter mods as there are just much better alternatives for the limited mod slots. Maybe have the barrier erected by the companion persist after it has been revived or turn the remaining health of the barrier into Overguard for both the companion and the player?
  8. If we are getting Universal Enemy Radar then will Banshee be affected by the change in any way? Sonar highlighted enemies on the minimap but its kinda lost that fuction (still have the damage boost which is unarguably its main function), letting us see enemies through walls with Sonar would be kind of cool. If the companion rework doesn't already involve something similar to the Mutagen and Antigen, then has there been any thought of bringing something similar into the companion rework but with more direct bonuses? Maybe you could use a mutagen that would improve a companions armor and then make Genetic Code Templates of that companion, cross it with one that has another mutagen that for example gave it more health with the resulting offspring having the bonuses of both mutagens. It would give companion breeding another purpose besides cosmetics and alongside mods for companions, could serve to make them better at surviving.
  9. We don't know if individual Operators have different or varying degrees of Void power. However since Focus schools exists we were probably all taught to utilize/discovered how to make use of our powers in accordance with the teachings of whatever school our Operator was in. Hasn't really been explored much either but Vor did throw out this line during Vor's Prize after he inserted the Ascaris control device into your Warframe: "We've been wrong all this time. Tenno do not control the Warframe's divine energy. The Tenno ARE that energy. Each Warframe you control is merely a glass shaping your furious light." So a Warframe probably does determine whatever shape our powers manifest as when projecting through a Warframe but the process of how exactly it is determined what shape the power will take hasn't been explained so far. The Warframes are a result of infesting people via biological device called the Helminth. During the Old War the Orokin lost control of their war machines to the Sentients so another means of combating the Sentients had to be made and that were the Warframes. The people infested with the Helminth strain gained superhuman durability and physical power but at the cost of warping their mind and bodies. Biodrones made to fight under their command. At first the Orokin had control of the Warframes but they later turned upon the Orokin just like the Sentients had. It was later discovered during an accident that Tenno were capable of projecting their minds into a Warframe and calming/controlling them which became a procress known as Transference. The Orokin weaponized this and started making Warframes again. Recent lore has established that there was at least two or more generations of Warframes. Those that were created before Transference technology was developed and after. We don't entirely know how the Orokin went about the creation of the first Warframes but considering Ballas's own words in regards to lack of control of the first Warframes, the process wasn't gentle: We had created monsters we couldn't control. We drugged them, tortured them, eviscerated them... We brutalized their minds... but it did not work. We had created monsters we couldn't control. We drugged them, tortured them, eviscerated them... We brutalized their minds... but it did not work. The Orokin used whoever they could find for the procress, the only requirement being that they had a strong body. Some were volunteers, others weren't. As the Warframes had become controllable again, The Orokin became more invested in making more to save their own ego-bloated hide so Warframes probably became more "handcrafted" over time but weren't at the start of their creation but that is just a guess on my part
  10. Its either Wally in disguise or an entirely different Albrecht from another reality like how Drifter is different from the Operator.
  11. The pricing is just awful which S#&$s all over what this game initially did right and helped it reach/survive for 10 years. DE why do you gotta piss over Warframe being 10 years old with a move like this? I feel like they have been slowly escalating stuff like this with the supporter packs and as a grandmaster founder it absolutely shames me to see them doing this. THIS IS NOT WHAT THIS GAME STANDS FOR. I could buy an entire game for that ridiculous price. Most of Tennocon 2023 was good apart from this stupid S#&$.
  12. Being able to see how each melee combo works when previewing combo is a huge boon and kudos to DE for implementing it. There is a slight problem with icon obscurity however since some of the icons aren't immediately clear in what they do. It would be nice if the description for the button inputs below the stance also contained a legend on what some of the combo effects are.
  13. Pretty sure that Alpha Cenrauri/Tau is real. Lotus/Natah and Hunhow have plenty of lore quips about Tau and the journey from Tau back to the Origin system. Lotus was also rendered barren upon crossing over to the Origin system so the odds of it being real are very high versus it not being real. Plus the Sentients wouldn't have changed as much if it wasn't which is just another plus for it being real. Unless something happened to Tau then it should be in real-space but the reason it so distant is because the Orokin never achieved FTL travel and If I remember correctly, Tau is 4 something light years away which is pretty far. The Sentient were first sent there to terraform the system and build a "Void Rail" with a weakness to the Void built in so that they would be stranded there. The Sentients still made it back but at the cost of them being rendered sterile and they also still decay while in the Void as we saw in Octavia's Anthem so its highly unlikely that Tau is in the Void. Getting there may still involve Void travel but the final location itself should not be in the Void.
  14. Mastery Rank has some value in showing your progression and your time spent in the game. Of course it doesn't explicatively show the skill, knowledge and experience of a player but people that has reached a high mastery rank usually have at least played for a long time and spent a fair time grinding to get there which should have given them a pretty good understanding of the game. I don't think it grants anyone bragging rights but to be inherently dismissive of high mastery rank is just being obtuse and softheaded. Of course someone could have just spent a lot of money and stood in Hydron for days but should be an extremely rare case, especially because ranking up stuff in Hydron is terrible compared to other places.
  15. I disagree. The difference here being that we may different expectations of what an acceptable understand of "common knowledge" is but perhaps it could also just be a very lucky streak on my part. As said earlier, I am certain I have never met any players that genuinely didn't know most of those things aside from newbies, maybe not all but probably most of the things you mentioned.
  16. Never said it was better than headshots and I doubt I would use it myself but OP asked for primary weapons to use alongside Citrine's ultimate and that was the best I could ultimately think of.
  17. True but some measure of knowledge, skill and progression are usually also gained along the way in reaching MR 30 so they accompany each other quite often. I at least do not know any other MR 30 players that didn't have an acceptable combination of knowledge, skill and progression at that rank and not be able to do long endurance runs/steel path stuff. Of course how good folks at MR 30 does vary greatly but I would say anyone that has reached that rank usually have an above average understanding of the game unless they have somehow acquired their account from someone else but that is a specialty case.
  18. I am not a Citrine main but supposedly hitscan weapons get a 2x multiplier for crit damage (according to the Warframe wiki) as well but projectile weapons or continuous weapons do not. With that in mind I could imagine weapons such as the Corinth Prime (primary fire/buckshot - 2.8 CD ), Prisma Grinlok (2.9 CD), Tiberon Prime (semi fire mode - 3.4 CD) Kuva Hind (semi fire mode - 2.9 CD). Latron Prime/Wraith (2.8 CD) could also be an option, especially if enhanced with an Incarnon Genesis adaptor (but not actually using the Incarnon form because it becomes a projectile weapon) since one the options for the tier IV evolutions is a +0.6x CD bonus alongside some CC. Corinth Prime would have the highest base damage per shot but keep in mind that its a six pellet shot, Prisma Grinlok the second highest and Kuva Hind semi mode being at 144 with a 60% elemental bonus. The Kuva hind will beat the Prisma Grinlok through due to a much higher fire rate and magazine count than the Prisma Grinlok. All of these weapons have good CC but you could just build them for pure CD damage alone and having Crystalize be your critical chance trigger.
  19. There aren't any red pandas or pandas for that matter because the Orokin really liked their panda fur and they are extinct now.
  20. For the love of all that is holy please stop doing locking stuff behind doors. I did the Nira archon hunt today with a squad in the gas city tileset and experienced two occasions of being locked out right after each mission. First we had an AFK host, I was building up damage stacks for my Felarx when the host suddenly disconnected. The host migration went fine but when it finished loading the mission we were only three people and the room I was outside was apparently still in the waiting zone so it started the boss fight. Issue is just that there was a door... I had no way to get through the door, no lockdown panels or anything, couldn't solve it with Liset air support either so we left the mission. Second time which was right after the first locked door. We were in the second fight and things was going well enough when I suddenly fell right through the map. Not certain what caused it, might have landed on one of those horizontal vent doors that was in the second area but that is besides the point. I fell through the entirety of the void below and ended up back outside some distance away. Again I couldn't get in because there is no lockdown panel or any other way to get in. My squadmates managed to kill Nira but the fight got extended by 15 minutes or around there because I couldn't get in there to nuke her and because she kept healing with her stupid mechanics. It was beyond infuriating not being able to get in there and help because of something as artificial as a blocking door mechanic that can't be solved. Please just stop locking the doors to the Archon boss room, its a beyond stupid design as it currently is. If its to keep the normal enemies out which I noticed were still spawning then couldn't the spawn of the normal enemies just be tweaked to be lower for the duration of the boss fight? If that's not possible then we could at least have some way of getting into the boss area that normal enemies cant access. Maybe a portal or something outside the connecting sections of the tileset in case stuff like this happens. Just give us some way to get in there.
  21. Thanks for the update. Lets see if this update is worth the hype!. 😶❤
