  1. The Arca Titron was nerfed, heavily in its damage output. There's some technical reason somewhere I'd suggest googling, Its not a weapon I use so I didn't follow it too heavily. Dante Unbound ironically came with a lot of nerfing. Finishers have been a point of issue for sometime now, the whole thing could use looked at.
  2. Mechanics, Boss Design/Subbosses, Creative Enemies, Better Pathing, Modifiers on enemies. Actually Balance the game so you can create challenges. You're asking me for the basics of game design here on a post about feedback on one mode. There are dozens of ways to make interesting end game content. Pick one or twelve. Various Things: Evolving Endless Towers - Modes similar to The Decent or The Tower in Division 2. Also seen in games like FFXIV. Modifiable Star Chart with creating your own path - see Path of Exile's end game system of both a skill tree AND maps you can modify. Modifiers in General - See Diablo Enemies for example. Suddenly you've got a fire chain group of sentients, or cold aura moas, etc. General Mechanics - A good example is open world champions in Guild Wars 2. Fights that require positioning that shifts as the fight goes on. True Tower Defense Mode - Create a layer on top of Open World that has just hordes of enemies attacking the gates of Fortuna, Cetus, etc. Would even create the opening for a whole new type of gear. Defenses. I mean I could sit here for hours and come up with a lot of track record proven enjoyable mechanics that people farm everyday in a variety of games. But its not my job. I'm simply providing feedback about one mode that again is more alienating then anything else.
  3. Oo drop downs would be nice. I prefer that actually!
  4. Bumping as still an issue to this date. There are a few various things that seem widely effected by not being host. Such as some of the bond mods. Would greatly like Naramon to be fixed with its multiple issues as a school. Weapon Damage not effecting melee weapons but mostly its main abilities only consistently working if you play alone. PC user. Bug Testers I recommend trying things in crossplay as the host to stress test it. As I've a feeling a lot of these issues might have some correlation with that aspect and have seen you've been unable to replicate this issue in the past.
  5. I got a sentence in and I knew immediately it was gonna be Ash. He has been neglected for so long with lots of quality of life issues. His teleport is a joke, sure you can make his 4 semi decent, but it still takes too long to execute. Shuriken like teleport is also only useable with an augment. And the worst stealth in the game. Worse is the Stalker frame in Duviri has similar skills that function just fine. It makes zero sense why this is still an issue. He's needed fixed for a long time, in that same time Inaros has been completely reworked twice. They really need to have some of their team focused on QoL for awhile. Stop making new frames til the old ones are brought up to speed.
  6. I feel like this is missing the point of all the complaints. People just want the cheap & lazy RNG to try and force you to use things you don't want to use gone. It comes across as the Devs literally don't know how to make challenging content so instead they do this. Why a small chunk of the player base keeps defending this is beyond me. Its fine if you're a hoarding type player who likes this sorta thing... But I'm sorry most don't. Add challenging endgame modes like we all want and stop with the not letting people enjoy their loadouts fully nonsense. People were excited at the idea but the execution is completely ruined by lazy design decisions.
  7. I think it's not a matter of them "not playing the game" but more that they're simply out of touch with what their players want. Then you factor in all the other aspects they have to concern themselves with, bug fixes/designs/expansions/profits/etc. It's why it's essential that you have members of the team who can bridge that gap. The problem is too often that pipeline of information always gets obstructed. It happens in almost every business. Whether it's a coffee shop or movie studio, it's easy to widely miss the mark. How many surefire hit movies flop? I think if DE wants to succeed in terms of player satisfaction it needs to hit the breaks and properly plot a course based off the most common wants and desires. Start small and simple and focus on that. The communication is always key and right now for some reason what the Devs are hearing doesn't seem to be what is being said. There are a lot of different types of players for Warframe, but the complaints well, they're usually the same ones over and over I've seen for years now just recycled into the current circumstances. Solutions need to be made at more foundational levels or we're gonna keep having a lot of frustrated experiences which suck for both the devs and the players. They just need to get in touch with the base at large & stop with the weird choices.
  8. That's entirely the root of the point, absolutely no one is saying make an easy mode. They're saying make a challenging mode. Random Frames/Weapons isn't an increased difficulty, it's an increased inconvenience and quite honestly alienating for a lot of the player base. I understand Warframe has an international player base so I can't speak on all of it's players. I can, however, say that Western players gravitate towards building their character in games. It's why there is so much focus on games having customization options. It's literally a key part of their gaming experience. This sort of design alienates that entire player type. This isn't a new complaint. It's been in existence from at least New War. Players want to use their characters and Warframe while playing. They didn't sign up to play Drifter or Spin The Frame. This emphasis on this extremely niche style only serves to frustrate a large portion of your players who are genuinely waiting for things to do. It's ok if you have extra side content for people who like weird collection/rng type modes. But this all we've been getting for what feels like years, it wasn't widely beloved then and it's not now. It's not fun and it's the reason I'm probably gonna take a break & I was having a blast just before Dante Unbound. I even came back from newer titles because the experience had been so fun. Then they messed with lighting/tilesets/nerfed abilities and now released another Duviri like mode? Time to spend my money elsewhere for a bit and come back to supporting them when their efforts match what makes sense. I've got no hate on DE, I think they're a fine group of Devs who try, but I just widely disagree with the design direction. I hope they start to appeal to the diversity of the player base instead of keep catering to this particular style of player every single bit of content.
  9. This was a really good point made pre-emptive of what the major problem is with its design. Instead of giving players a fun end game, we essentially got another sortie to ignore unless you're that particular tiny niche who likes this sorta content. To which they literally have The Circuit for.... Dante Unbound has been exhausting with both technical issues and diminished the experience in gameplay. Deep Arch was the only thing I was looking forward to as a fan of cells. I didn't look into it enough though and was hit with immediate disappointment because I was hit with the load out crap. I main one frame, I use the same loadout for everything. Its not a nuke, it doesn't trivialize the content. But its how I enjoy playing. I've said it once and I'll say it again here. Using things you don't want to isn't a challenge, its a chore.
  10. Same. Had very few crashes in the history of Warframe before this patch. I've had dozens since, almost all of them happen during a transition change for me. Loading into the Void Angel screen during combat, Loading into a Netracell, etc. I've had to lower my graphics to offset the new lighting issues so technically it should have less stress then before. PC user.
  11. Its still kinda buggy for me on Ash, so I know they've gotta work some kinks out. Really they just need to stress test everything in multiplayer sessions where they are not the host bc I swear most problems appear there. But its a cool feature that I think should be default as there are ways for all frames to be put into stealth. Shade, Smoke Shadow Augment, Balling Out with the DJ, etc. Beyond that they just need to make the ghost like mode work instead of mostly defaulting you to the color outline, even if you don't pick that option.
  12. Reload speed definitely needs to be main page, its too important of a stat in a variety of situations. Otherwise I like most of this cleaning up personally, but like most things just give players the option to toggle their details. A simple interface options list of "show reload on main stats" for example.
  13. That's a lot of plastids 😂 I agree however, x100 recipe is long overdue.
  14. I've spent more time adjusting graphics and lighting then playing the game since the update. After about two sessions I was able to counteract most of it by turning off a bunch of options I had on before. Top of the line gaming laptop that runs everything at highest settings. I'm not hating on people having the emo filter option of this lighting update. It just sucks it comes at the expense of others. Ideal world we could just toggle this on and off like so many of us want. Even a simple slider/anything so that we might get to enjoy a good looking game again? The Hotfix did not do much of anything. (Turning off basically all light/reflections/fog and lowering shadows seemed to get it closer to the better looking Warframe of old, but at the expense of obviously less detail/depth.)
  15. Lighting still making the game look awful for some of us on PC (and Switch apparently) Please provide some sort of setting to get the game to look like it used to. I've tried dozens of combinations and just can't get it to a playable state.
  16. Unfortunate, but a logical deduction. Ultimately sounds like best bet is to set the game aside til the lighting issues are fixed/optimized. Appreciate the discourse.
  17. I normally read these exhaustive lists.. (kudos to all the hard work from the team) But usually they have no real impact, as an Ash main it is nice that something in these effects my character for once. As now I can actually see them, so random and nice change there. My biggest concerns really is being able to disable the lighting features that were changed/is there a toggle option somewhere? I play on a projector and have spent a lot of time combating the lighting issues, do not look forward to doing it again. I've tolerated the newer maps being hard to look at times, but now that I understand its this new lighting thing would be nice just to have a toggle! (Can confirm Smoke palette is useless now, seeing how its 3 out of the 5 colors/shades I use, kinda frustrating. I had to wear pink for work, would rather not be a part of the Hart Foundation in Warframe.) Either way someday I'll be able to enjoy one of these nice rework posts on frames I like & happy to see you guys are doing your best to fix things. Cheers on the 11 year.
