  1. I’m pretty sure you aren’t missing anything. As far as I’ve seen, there’s no way to adjust how many floors the elevator shaft will extend to. Thinking about it, I can’t remember even a single elevator in the game that lets you select between multiple floors to go to so perhaps that functionality simply doesn’t exist at all.

  2. I certainly wouldn’t mind getting the ability to skip over an unwanted Lich or at least the majority of their rumor grind.

Maybe a system where you could sacrifice converted Liches to reveal the killphrase, or perhaps one where you could put up a “bounty” for your Lich that automatically reveals rumors as time passes for a resource cost (letting you do other things instead of being forced to grind Thrall missions).

All I know is that getting a Lich that has literally nothing you want feels horrible, because you then have to dedicate hours just to get another chance at rerolling that dice. Which wouldn’t be so bad if dealing with your Lich was interesting and fun, but instead it’s just stabbing Thralls for the majority of the time while the Lich yoinks a pitiful amount of resources from your mission rewards.

  3. There are enough ways of building up combo with Exalted Blade that this hasn’t been an issue for me to be honest.

    1. Surging Dash. This Slash Dash augment adds to the combo counter with every enemy hit, and works when Exalted Blade is active.
    2. Guardian Derision. Taunts enemies within 15 meters into attacking you while increasing the amount of combo gained from blocking.
    3. Slam attacks. An AOE that can easily build combo off of clustered enemies. Just don’t accidentally heavy slam.
    4. Patience. Instead of mashing E at everything in view, hold your fire and close the gap first. Getting into the habit of attacking enemies directly makes it easier to maintain a combo, especially when combined with one or more of the above methods.

I certainly wouldn’t say no to any Exalted Blade buffs at this point though.

  4. These are some great suggestions IMO.

I especially like the proposal of applying Exalted Blade mods/stats to his other abilities, as it would tie his kit together theme-wise and modding-wise while eliminating the dated “stat-stick” aspect of modding Slash Dash. Adding innate life steal to the passive is a fantastic idea as well, that would make Excalibur’s passive much more noticeable and useable then what we have currently.

I feel that Radial Javelin should be more then just a AOE damage ability though. Exalted Blade pretty much covers any needs Excalibur has for dealing out that DPS, and his other abilities have multiple (and useful) uses in comparison. One suggestion I saw that I liked was adding damage reduction based on the amount of enemies hit by RJ. Another was having RJ work as a heavy attack, which would let it be able to utilize Life Strike, Dispatch Overdrive, and other heavy-attack mods that might give it some much-needed utility.

Great stuff regardless. Reasonable enough but effective without needing to totally rework his abilities.

  5. Dunno about super important, but here is what I believe are some of the "notable releases" since Wukong Prime:

    1. New Warframes:
      • Gauss. Earned by getting his component drops from Tier C Disruption on Sedna, Kelpie node.
      • Grendel. Earned through completing three unique "modless" missions to earn his components. The new missions are unlocked on Europa by purchasing the respective keys from the Arbitration store. You can piggyback off of a friend who has a key.
      • Atlas Prime. Primed version of Atlas, released along with Tekko Prime and Dethcube Prime.
    2. Vauban and Ember got full-kit reworks! Heat procs can stack damage-wise and reduce affected enemy armor by up to 50%.
    3. Melee Rework Phase 2:
      • Updated and simplified stance controls. Even applies to Exalted melee weapons.
      • Rebalances to melee-related mods, abilities and Arcanes.
      • Melee weapons got updates to their stats. Lots of damage buffs!
      • Channeling was replaced with heavy attacks, which can inflict the new "Lift" status to let you juggle enemies. Heavy attacks used in the air will become a heavy slam attack.
      • Hold the "weapon switch" key to go into melee-only mode, where you can manually block.
    4. New UI changes:
      • Arsenal loadouts. You can favorite loadouts and choose custom glyphs for them on the loadout menu.
      • Color picker. Two-column scrolling, 5 extra favorite color slots, and you can drag and drop the order of your favorite colors.
      • Look and Mod link. You can now post a link in the in-game chat that allows other players to see your mod and appearance configurations.
    5. The Shawzin instrument from the Sacrifice quest is now both a decoration AND a playable emote. Several versions are available from the market.
    6. Catchmoon kitguns got a nerf. Falloff range was reduced, as well as falloff damage.
    7. 120 Riven slots is now the maximum available, up from 90.
    8. Plains of Eidolon bounties now have bonus objectives that can provide additional rewards, like the Orb Vallis bounties.
    9. Augment changes. Several of the under-performers got nice buffs, you can read the full list of changes HERE.
    10. Arbitration changes:
      • Reward rotations now occur at regular mission intervals (except Excavations). For example Survival gives a reward every 5 minutes now.
      • Arbitration drones now have a chance to drop Vitus essence upon death.
      • Store prices were increased to offset the increased Vitus gain.
      • 5 new aura mods and 5 new Arcanes were added to the Arbitration drop tables.
      • That one Ayatan statue on Suumbaat's table can now be bought from the Arbitration store.
    11. Excalibur Umbra got a Prime Details toggle for his "Prime" and cloth bits. Only works on non-default skins.
    12. You can build the Railjack Dry Dock, and the Railjack ship itself now!

There's a lot more that I missed or didn't really go into (like all the new weapons or the new Deluxe skins). Hope that helps a bit.

  6. Aksomati Prime look kinda ugly imo.

Also I dislike this trend where weapons that were visually consistent with a theme (Tigris series, Soma series) end up barely resembling each other when they are Primed (Tigris Prime vs Akjagara and Redeemer Prime, and now Aksomati Prime vs Soma Prime).

Who knows what Dual Raza Prime will end up looking like now.

probably because rooms were blocking under or over the dock. We should built it far from the rest to be sure to have enough space for it.

Yeah, pretty sure you’re right. The dock became buildable once I placed an extended hallway first. I’m going to have to clean up some nearby buildings but I think I’ll be able to manage now.

My dojo build is saved, as am I from the hell that is destroying each room with that two-hour wait.

Dry Dock can't be built on any floor except ground floor

Please tell me this is a bug or server issue. I’ve left plenty of space for the dock but it’s just not working.

I’ve already rebuilt my whole dojo to be able to fit the dry dock. Having to go through that whole process again will just kill me.

EDIT: I don’t even remember which floor is the ground floor anymore honestly. I am now dying on the inside.

  9. Sure the previous behavior was more realistic, but it was also terrible for precision maneuvering. One of the reasons Itzal was used besides Blink was being able to stop on a dime with its Penumbra ability.

If I want to take some accurate shots on some Grineer below me in the Plains, being forced to wait while I slowly coast to a stop feels horrible.

  10. Ever since Update 24.6, which introduced two-tone energy colors for Warframe abilities, Excalibur Umbra's default energy colors have been broken. His abilities used to resemble what was shown in The Sacrifice quest, which I always thought was a pretty neat detail.

But now all of Umbra's ability effects are just a pale blue color. As seen in the comparison I whipped up below:

In contrast, here are some short clips of the old Radial Howl effects and Exalted Umbra Blade effects taken from YouTube.

Even the in-game thumbnails for Exalted Umbra Blade and Radial Howl showcase his old energy colors:

It would be awesome if Umbra's default energy colors could be fixed to once again be consistent with the appearance of his abilities in the cutscene cinematics.
