  1. As the title indicates, many of the armor sets worn on Excalibur Umbra still behave as if the toggle was on despite the toggle being off. There is a noticeable difference in positioning when comparing how chest and shoulder armor sits on base Excalibur, compared to how it sits on Umbra using the toggle.

Chest armor suffers the most from this, jutting out in a frankly jarring way. If it's possible, please apply base Excalibur's armor positioning to Umbra when the details toggle is set to "off".

I'd also like to note that certain armor sets already address this such as the recent Etheria armor set, though the issue still occurs on the Prisma and Dex skins despite working fine on the base, Tennogen, and Proto skins.

It feels like because I don't have time to play, as a cosmetic collector at least, I am being punished. It seems like this is becoming the norm in games and it's not entirely inclusive which bugs me.

This has been a thing in Warframe for years though. Heck there are some cosmetics that I will probably never have access to due to not even being around during the time that they were available (like the Tethra’s Doom Quantum Emblem or Trials badges).

That being said, the devs have confirmed multiple times on streams that they are looking into bringing back older Nightwave rewards, and that the only true exclusives are the Founder items. So there may be hope yet if you’re patient.

  3. As the title indicates, the Depth of Field option seems to blur and exaggerate certain particle effects. I first started noticing this after Update 25.7.0 with the new Bow visual effects, as with Depth of Field on the particles were quite obnoxious. After testing, I discovered that this issue wasn't exclusive to that weapon type.

Examples below, taken with no Anti-Aliasing and maxed GPU Particles/Particle System Quality settings. Please note that all of these were captured while I was using hip-fire:

Yes but the cost of making them (2 forma) is high. I wouldnt mind if forma were more abundant but you can only make 1 per 24 hours. The amount of work almost pushes towards payment. They should allow multiple forma to be built at once but this is a different topic.

You can also obtain fully built ones from Sortie mission rewards, but I agree. It’s costly to build one and arguably easier to farm platinum in trade chat.

Regardless though, the option to make or earn one plat-free does exist so I don’t see why these new weapon Exilus items would be any different.

  5. There are several easy methods of dealing with this problem:

    • Use a crowd control ability to minimize the amount of enemies shooting at you.
    • Kill enemies in the immediate vicinity before summoning your archgun.
    • Summon your archgun behind cover as opposed to out in the open or next to a group of enemies.

I’ve never had issues getting killed while summoning my archgun during the fight using one or more of the above strategies.

  6. It’s impossible to say really, unless you can see into the future.

The most likely scenario is a separate mobile version spearheaded by a different studio like they did with the Switch version, but “most likely” isn’t saying much when they’ve never indicated an interest in releasing a mobile version.

I wouldn’t be expecting anything soon. There are various methods of streaming Warframe onto your mobile device if you’re truly desperate for space ninja action on your phone.

  7. I’d to see adjustments to slash dash for sure. The current “connect the dots” targeting behavior has always felt kinda clunky, especially when I’m trying to go past enemies but still end up slowly dashing up to a bloke that I wasn’t even trying to aim at.

A toggle would be great or even another Augment imo. I’d love to see these additional changes to the mobility-focused version:

    • Reduced/removed ending lag. That “dead-time” at the end of the animation where you’ve stopped but can’t do anything for a split second feels horrible imo.
    • Preservation of the momentum you gained during the dash (at least if you are in mid-air).
    • Pierces through enemies while dealing damage, as opposed to having to attack them one-by-one.
    • More vertical mobility. Let us go straight upwards if we’re aiming to do so (with the initial dash at least, not trying to make Zephyr 2.0 here).
  8. This is great, and made even better with the comprehensive Notes detailing how you worked around the in-game limitations. A lot of the musical terms and descriptors went over my head a bit but I can certainly appreciate the amount of skill and effort that went into this project.

Thanks for listening!  I think I need a week off now.

It would definitely be deserved after an undertaking like this! Thanks for all of your musical contributions to the Warframe community.

  9. I do remember seeing another recent Xbox topic around here regarding abuse of a bug to scam people out of their Rivens. Sounds like you were a victim of this tactic. I’d definitely make sure to record any future high-value trades until the issue is addressed.

  10. Most used is based on the time that item is equipped in missions. Affinity gained and number of kills don’t seem to change anything in regards to how it is calculated. So you could technically idle in the open tilesets or the Simulacrum and it would count towards usage just as much as actively running those items in regular missions as long as you return back to the orbiter before closing Warframe.

There’s no faster way though since it’s based on the time you used that frame/item compared to your total time played in missions.

Many players desire an invasion mechanic, and will often look at the Acolytes.

I do think your idea is pretty neat but where did you get this impression? Every time the Stalker PvP mode comes up on the Forums or Reddit, it’s met with a flood of negative feedback.

  12. Few questions regarding this:

    1. How many revives would players get per day?
    2. Are the revives limited per frame, or is there a general cap?
    3. What if you’re at the max revive cap and you get a revive drop? Will players be able to stack even more revives then Arcane revives allow currently, or will revive drops be useless rewards for players at the cap?

In my opinion, reintroducing limited revives at this point would just needlessly punish newer players while barely affecting those that know what they are doing. Not really a fan of the idea at all.

That may be my bias speaking though, as the previous revive system nearly put me off the game when I first started. The steep learning curve, limited revives (unless you had another Warframe in your arsenal or paid 12 platinum), and limited slots (with more being only available through platinum purchases) all combined to feel really scummy initially. The developers removing the paid revives was one of my earliest indicators that DE wasn’t like the average free-to-play developer, and one of the reasons why I ended up sticking with the game in the end.

Wait... Silent Battery is power creep?

    WAT

If you think about it, sure.

Before the change you needed to sacrifice an aspect of your build to add a silencer mod. Meaning that compared to any maximized build, silenced builds would always be inferior in some respect. You were choosing between power and utility.

But after the change you’ll be able to run what was once a maximized build, now with the addition of silenced shots. Compared to before, any build using silencer mods will be stronger then they were previously.

Power creep is simply a gradual increase in average power as new content gets released so I’d say yes, this situation would certainly fit the definition.
