  1. It’s probably because of the code that prevents more then one Riven from being equipped on a build. Looks like it doesn’t distinguish between Veiled and Unveiled Rivens.

Most weapons will perform perfectly fine without Rivens anyways. Just un-equip your Unveiled one temporarily and then swap it back on afterwards if you really want to use your favorite weapons for the Riven challenge.

  2. I had a similar issue with my dojo, which I fixed by changing my spawn room of all things after researching potential causes exhaustively. Dunno if that will do anything here though since the build order and layout would definitely be different from my dojo.

  3. Excalibur Umbra - Just a fantastic visual upgrade compared to his base variant. Well-placed Orokin accents that for the most part aren’t intrusive (arm crescents aside), a more intimidating silhouette achieved though filling out his upper body a bit, flowing cloth attachments that help make every in-game movement a bit cooler, and all that without losing that “Excalibur” feel.

Revenant - I love Sentient visual stylings and lore, so being able to play as a Eidolon frame got me pretty hyped. And visually Revenant delivered, with those streaming Eidolon energy emissions, pulsing emissives accentuating his hollowed-out metallic sections, and sentient-styled trimmings. Just a really cool frame to see in motion, especially when using Tatsu.

Hydroid Prime - Probably my favorite non-Prime to Prime transformation. From a lumpy sea monster to a gilded pirate captain, complete with a coat and boots. His helmet design is amazing, managing to incorporate both tricorn hat and beard elements while still maintaining that abstract Warframe look. A bit difficult to customize but not too much of an issue when his default look is so nice-looking.

  4. I thought Arlo was just some puppet used by the infested to bypass the quarantine: easily replaced and not important as an individual.

But along came the whole “Arlo’s Flame” business from the Zealoid fight and now I don’t know what to think.

First thing, nerfing because of usage is bad.
Nerfing should be because of common sense, if it is strong = nerf, if it is weak = buff, not just "usage".

They don’t adjust disposition purely on usage anymore. Now they also take into account an “internal power ranking” that they have yet to disclose, with the intention seemly being the stabilization of Riven disposition.

They reference this in the recent Prime Access disposition workshops.

    Embassies? New weapon?

He probably means the Emissary Derelict missions nodes that appear over planets being invaded by Infested. In order to access them, you need to complete an Infested Outbreak mission node three times to receive a Zealot Derelict Code in your inbox.

The Emissary Derelict Assassinate mission node lets you fight a new boss, the Zealoid Prelate. He drops the components for a new Infested glaive weapon: the Pathocyst. The Pathocyst parts are also tradable, so if you don’t want to bother farming for it then buying a set is another option.

The Zealoid Prelate and Pathocyst have been confirmed to not be Nightwave exclusive, so they will return in some form later on.

    Is Nekros fun?

If you’re looking for mobility or face-melting, I’d look elsewhere. His most “fun” abilities imo are Soul Punch (which basically just ragdolls your targets) and Shadows of the Dead (which summons enemies that you killed to fight for you, not really useful as an offensive ability).

Nekros is great for farming, surprisingly tanky if you utilize certain augments, and can CC/armor strip in a pinch but that’s about it. I wish he hadn’t been designated a loot frame, since the rest of his kit/theme had to suffer for it.

    Animation work? Wut?

I mentioned this for two reasons:

    1. Some frames have unique animated aspects specific to their model (e.g. Gauss).
    2. Idle animations that may need to be adjusted or redone to fit the alternate model.

Finally, there’s a reason why I said “potentially” to single it out from the other points. I don’t consider it as certain or important as the others. Hope that clarifies things for you.

Real close you two. Fraid you're both just out. Feel free to try again though.

Welp this is the only other thing I can think of:

    Spoiler

Neo Orb, No Robe, Borneo, One Bro = Oberon.

Puck, Bottom, Snug, Helena = Titania.

Wednesday, Bringer, Volcanic, Ketchum = Ash.

Fury, Cave, Theseus, Sparks = Excalibur.

EDIT: Aw, swinginman beat me to it. Guess that’s that.

  10. Well I tried:

    Spoiler

Neo Orb, No Robe, Borneo, One Bro = Oberon.

Puck, Bottom, Theseus, Helena = Titania.

Wednesday, Bringer, Volcanic, Ketchum = Ash.

Fury, Cave, Snug, Sparks = Ember? Not sure about this one.

Was fun trying to figure out what was what even if I got stumped in the end.

I didn't say you were disputing it, I'm merely saying that was the stance expressed in your supposed counter to my statement.

Thought this was all expressed clearly enough in my previous response but I guess not.

Fair enough. Apologies for my mediocre reading comprehension.

I hope that they’ll figure out a way to implement this one day but considering how long it’s been relative to how often this topic crops up, I won’t be expecting much.

That statement seems like it was in regards to the present practice, as in people know they aren't actively doing male-female skins at the time of the inquiry, not a flat no to the idea or future which is rather clear since the conversation directly following it is about how things are always shifting and nothing is certain so it'd be pointless for them to commit to an explicit answer.

I mean sure intentions and situations change, I’m not disputing that. They could change their mind for whatever reason they want.

Just trying to address your claims here in bolded:

Not really, the only answer they ever gave was they were uncertain it'd sell, which was before the advent of deluxes that proved that concern null, beyond that they've never shut the notion down or been explicitly against it. release dates looming ever closer.

I’m pretty sure stating “we are not doing this” is a pretty explicit refusal, assuming we’re both using the same definition of explicit. At that point in time, it was pretty clear that they did not want to spend resources to develop alternate gender skins.

And to clarify I’m not against the idea of alternate gender skins as I stated before, just trying to clear up misinformation.

When it comes to DE-developed alternate gender skins, they actually have.

Devstream 71, 51:10 in the time stamp:

Rebecca: “On the topic of alternate gendered warframes - people know we’re not doing that; we’re not making a male-female skin.”

    Geoff: “Yup.”

They then proceed to discuss the potential for alternate gender Tennogen skins instead which concluded with “not sure, but probably not”.

  14. The only people who can elaborate on the circumstances of your suspension are the support representatives. You’ll just have to be patient and wait for them to respond.

I’ve always gotten a response within one or two days, but some Tenno have claimed that they had to wait around a week for support to get to their ticket. Try not to send messages umprompted or resubmit the ticket, as that could put you back to the bottom of the queue.

    Hope things work out!

  15. Alternate gender skins would be cool and the devs have considered it (Excalibur vs Nyx, and Ember being male at first) but they have already given us their answer and it was “no”. Essentially doubling the amount of modeling, texture, and potentially animation work would not be worth the payoff.

That concept art for Ash is just that at this point: an unused concept. I wouldn’t expect anything more to come out of it, considering this topic has resurfaced time and again with nothing to show for it.

  16. I’m guessing the New War will be the first part of a new story arc focusing around our head-on conflict with the Sentients. This questline will take a few hours to complete, spread over various missions taking place across the system. Completing it will give us access to a new Sentient faction tileset with the usual assortment of mission nodes we have come to expect. There will be new Sentient-themed weapons to play with, Sentient/New War-themed cosmetics and maybe even a few more mod sets.

That’s all I’m expecting. Hopefully there are some cool twists/moments in the quest.
