as an addon to my prior comment in regards to the face. in both helms made by DE there is a sense of facelessness to the helm i think that smoothing it out and maybe adding one left "eye" to it. the idea with the eye is to, much like in your original design, is to accentuate the subtle curve of the hat and to play with that glowing eye in shadow / I see you sort of expression

The bit of a swirl reminds me of her portals, could mix something in there as well. Definitely gonna play around with her face more.

I don't think its about keep up to their standards. Maybe they just want to keep a tight hold on hair styles. The ones we currently have are a bit.. strange to say the least. I'm all for a contest though, would be a good way to get some new styles in by the community.

Another collaboration between @_malayu_ and I.
This time its the Ak-Sura syandana, something that came from a old concept awhile back. It originally came from an idea of having a scarf that the energy would be turned off when you're in stealth, then would show up when you have been spotted. I'm glad we never followed through on this cause gimmicky syandanas can seem to cause some stress if they don't work correctly. Malayu thought up of the super cool 'shoulder blades' idea which looks super cool, and is a nice pun in itself as well. I just did my thing with making sure it has some silly energy pattern and lots of glowing bits.

did some art stuffs finally after a longgggg time.
went back and cleaned up a syandana concept i had.
it would have the same kinda tenno-energy-caligraphy stuff that the zaikhka has on it, in the center parts.
i mean it wouldn't be one of my designs if it didn't glow like a goddamn bug zapper.

Since the syandana came out today on all platforms, I thought I would do again what I did for the Ayla. I gathered up a good chunk of WIP screenshots of this thing.
It has had its fair share of changes. It went from energy doritos to energy calligraphy!
i'll also give a big shoutout to @MaaYuu since they're the major workforce behind this! you can also check out their artstation to see some other tennogen goodies as well!
