  1. Something like below but not clipped like a lazy person would do? I'd also like a timer for void cloak. The shifting ship map on the ui fixed. Tactical avionics that are key-bindable or have a default when in the tactical menu, well as pilots menu.Why does 10 engineering anastasis, block the use of 3 tactical command link?     Also you know that sexy window down in the back of the forge? How about a gun mount there for the poor lonely engineers? Tailguns would be HOT!

    A life outside the game? I did just say when I was not busy, huh it's almost as if I have other things to do. To easy was solo railjack prior to the nerfs which made it trivial. I said I will see if the stealth detection changes where reverted when I am not busy. If they were reverted, then I see no reason for more than one attempt, other than making excuses.

    Kind of telling you haven't been around long enough to see all the times I complain about content being made easier. If they did in fact revert the detection changes, it may not be an issue, but I will still check it out myself when I have the time.

    i could LITERALLY run in front of them and they didnt detect me... the fail was because i rushed when the enemy was alerted, i could have waited, but that would have made a longer video.

    "Git gud" is just a shorter way of explaning a whole process that someone else can/should learn on their own.

     

    More than one attempt? Didn't Nekro say the stealth changes were reverted(Guess I will check it out again tomorrow when I am not busy). Thread is putting me to sleep. 😛

    Because that is not an issue. The difficulty having changed because of the stealth changes DE made is the actual issue. However if you really want to play the git good card, we can go there. Who should be believed here the tenno with 5275 hours, 18,401 missions with a 99% completion rate, and 0% quit rate, or the tenno with 89%, and an 8% quit rate, and only 4.2k missions, and less than 1k hours. I am saying it's over tuned compared to what it once was, and you need to get good before telling others to get good.

    Stones and glass houses! I told you someone would play that card!

    You know you can just change the setting so it's invite only and eliminate all the issues. 

  6. This topic has come up before. I can do the test with any frame or weapon, but since the changes it's clearly over tuned for the level it's at for the majority of players. Many will just throw out a get good comment, instead of admitting there is a problem. Others do  not bother to retake tests, or even know how it changed.

    Once again I will say DE needs to revisit tests in general.

  7. I really enjoyed railjack. I was still enjoying railjack until this update. It has lost a lot of the appeal it had for me, because it went from fun to absolutely mind numbing easy. The boost feels lackluster. Nothing lives long enough to have the space dogfight feel. The ground troops are a complete joke. There is a lack of anything to manage in the ship because of the changes. I can't imagine how boring it would be in a group, when I can solo ruse warfield so fast it feels like an earth capture.

    Granted I have all the intrinsic, 10,10,9,10 with 512 unspent. I have all the component and weapons from each house all maxed except one weapon(bad drops). I want to keep playing railjack, but there is no challenge anymore. I have more railjack resources then I could ever use already even after upgrading everything minus one gun. I don't even run maxed avionics(although I have them) or a meta build, and the content is still trivial now. 

    I'm also bothered that they made all these changes, but the ship map on the tactical UI shifts depending on where you are in the ship. There is no timer for void cloak. While in the tactical menu loot drops block the view of the tactical menu(bottom avionic and warframe skill). I can't mark enemy crewship. The breach graphic is not very eye catching, then again I am mostly blind so maybe it's just me.We can't keybind the tactical avionics, and they don't have a default like the battle avionics, as PC gamers clicking is a last resort, and it aggravates me to no end. Why does 10 engineering anastasis, block the use of 3 tactical command link? Are you really telling me my drones can't finish a repair order while I teleport to another part of the ship?

    I'll not name names, but watching a youtuber claim a bunch of avionics are mandatory, was a real laugh. They were not even mandatory before the update, and are less so now. 

    Maybe they could add a survival mode, and start all the enemies at level 150 or something, that would at least allow some of us to push the envelope, and maybe get some fun out of it again. I have no intention of quitting, but without challenge I'll play less warframe, and play more of something else.

    I thought people were being to harsh with DE over railjack, even said as much. However when easy content gets made easier, because a bunch of people whine. I  get a little aggravated. I didn't feel anything was a bullet sponge, prior to the revisit. I just want to know who is actually to blame this time DE, or the people that complained it was difficult, resulting in it being made trivial.

    As a side note prior to the difficulty nerf it all still died in under 3 seconds. The only way railjack could be easier now, would be if you start a mission and it loads directly to mission end screen, and shows the rewards. 🥱

    *sigh* Why did so many struggle with pre nerf ground troops in railjack? A bare bones Heavy Attack build on a crit built Kripath rapier, could one shot it all including the commander in the base. You could kill 2-3 at a time if they stood close to each other, or one hit them with a  crit built sephan/ nikana. I am starting to think nobody rebuilt any weapons last melee update.

    I am going to call you John Snow, because you know nothing. None of the cryophons even with max stats, can knock down healing bubbles in one shot every cryphon would overheat before the bubble came down, plus there is damage fall off to consider. I have every house gun maxed have solo'd all railjack before, and after the update. The bubbles can block you using the forward artillery to down crewships, and nobody but a fool has got time to try and down those bubbles with a cryophon.

    And for cryophons, you might wanna consider the Vidar flavour as it comes with higher crit chance.

    Until cryophons can knock down bubbles, they will remain in my trash and see no use.

    Yeah, it's possible to do what you've shown. Doesn't mean they have to make players completely miserable until they get to that point. I couldn't do what you did. Likely still can't, knowing my equipment. I shouldn't have to have top of the top tier equipment in order for Railjack to be bearable. No game should ever balance itself around what the top players can do, because most players can never achieve that. Not even in Warframe.

    So you can call it lack of incentive to get better equipment and lack of will to get better, I call it being aware of the fact that Warframe's playerbase isn't made of esports gods.

    Actually you could solo Gian point with sub ten minute runs easily with clan tach mk 3 gear, and a handful of avionics that were not even maxed rank. Munitions wasn't required either you could always void hole and use seekers, with a warhead with only 2 ranks. There were a few different ways to do sub ten runs with next to nothing gear wise.

  14. I just want to know why the polish on certain things didn't get resolved what with a test server. I made a short video with just a couple of the more annoying things I would have expected a test server to stop.

    Nope running a zetki was totally possible and a lot of fun. Hell they nerfed things to the point I can still run the zetki, everything just instantly dies now. Boring as hell, not to mention the new graphic for particle ram looks like total %$#. Also part of the ships teleport features in the tactical are now cut off in certain cases. The sprites added to turrets being killed look horrid. The movement has also been wrecked, what they did to boost is a travesty. 

    They pretty much just train wrecked Railjack, for me at least. Boring movement, zero challenge anywhere, and some graphics changes that look like total garbage.

    I'm happy about the avionics overhaul. There was a lot of bloat for no reason really. People will have to manage drain like they have to do early on in the game.
     

    I was right with you until the avionics comment. I do not find options to be bloat. The changes they are making will leave less options. It's actually going to make managing drain worse, build diversity will go bye, bye There was not a lot to begin with, but it's going to make it even less. The Avionics changes are frankly one of the worst changes they are making.

    The Avionics changes are to be blunt, dumbing down the game more than people think. I have a +99 vidar reactor I do not use currently, and another that will max it with valence being a thing. The avionics change is only going to force me to use the Vidar reactor. I fail to see how being forced into a build, and play style I don't enjoy, is better.

    • Health, armour and damage of enemies. They basically started the mode at a level where optimisation was required just to stay alive in the mission. It meant anyone who just built their Railjack basically couldn't use it without first playing a heap on other people's ships to leech good weapons and avionics. It also meant that any game modes going forward would be hard to scale, as when you start at hard enemies, they quickly scale to impossible to kill, or to the point that they take so long it isn't fun at all. For some people the Veil already reached the point of not being fun.
    • The avionics system was a mess. Most of the avionics you received were absolutely worthless, granting bonuses in the single digits where the better versions granted 500%. They wanted a divide between "the best stats" and "maximum capacity" so you're forced to make sacrifices, but really it just makes for a very unsatisfying system when you can't use the rare rewards you get because there isn't space.
    • Most of the game was spent patching your ship. When it launched the focus was on ALL CO-OP ALL THE TIME. Basically one person's entire game was meant to be topping up special bullets for the others to use, and fixing the ship. How is that fun or desirable in the slightest? So that was basically scrapped and you have minimal damage effects at once.

    The biggest culmination of issues was that anyone with a half-decent ship only spends time in the Veil where the good rewards are. Anyone new trying to queue for Earth nodes as crew to be able to start out at all can't even play the mode. Nobody new being able to play means the mode just dies as people get what they want out of it and leave, and they can't have that happen to something they put so much stock into.

    I solo'd it all without issue. The avionics system is actually fine, they are about to ruin it though. If you spent most of the time patching your ship, you simply did something wrong. Even in the veil solo, I rarely have to repair the ship, and most of the time I  do not even run any maxed avionics, even though I have them all.

    Regarding gunnery 10, it depends on your play style. It only triggers if you aim/zoom (Right Mouse Button). I almost never do, so doesn't bother me.

    It can actually be useful on some cases, like for example if you're on the side guns and the guns are hit scan, and you're not the host ( just a bit of lag can make live miserable for gunners ).

    You can land shots with 100% accuracy with RMB,LMB,RMB,LMB .. repeat, no need to even aim properly as it will auto aim for you, so just repeat those clicks while facing a group of enemies and you will kill them all pretty quickly.

    It does work pretty much as advertised, but if you're used to always aim when shooting, then yea, I can see how it can become annoying.

    Interesting I read it and knew instantly I would not bother with it though. Funny enough, I want to use the scoped ability in railjack, but even with the sensitivity set to 0, or changing mouse settings on the fly it's just way to sensitive. So I never bother with scoping.

  19. I love railjack as well. The movement is great. Granted the boost drain is a little much. It just seems like most of the changes they are planning, are going to remove the better parts of railjack. Once those parts are removed, and all the content is made trivial there will be no reason to bother, because there are not really any rewards in the game mode other then ship upgrades, and intrinsic.

    Think! What is the point of adding a command Intrinsic for solo players, if it's already easy to solo, and they plan to make it even easier. Regardless of if people admit it or not if there is no challenge in the game play, people simply will not play. People can claim it's rewards all day long, but challenge in and of itself, is one of the best rewards a game can have. Somewhere along the line DE seems to have forgotten this small fact. 

    Catering to only casuals kills games. If the casuals have nothing to aspire to they will quit. The non casual players give casuals something to drive towards, but when all the content becomes trivial they are lost. 

    I'll be the first to admit I am not a casual player in any game I play. It took me about a week to build my railjack solo, and be flush in resources, and currently 9,9,9,10. I only plan to go to 10,10,9,10 because auto aim doesn't appeal to me. If it highlighted the closest target, or maybe gave options for different predictive crosshairs, or colors I may be interested. The point here is in less than 48 hours of game play of Railjack. I'm already wishing for a survival mode so I can push the solo envelope high as possible, and get to more of a challenge, meanwhile they are planning to make the content drastically easier so that even casuals will get bored. How is that going to be good for the game mode?
