  1. Update: After unchecking "Aggressive Download" and "Bulk Download" in the launcher options, I was able to download the update.  But the download is extremely slow.  I still occasionally got the same error message as others have described but much less frequently than before.  The only way I could download the latest hotfix was by leaving those options unchecked, but it took much longer than previous hotfix downloads of similar size before the PoE update.

Since the Plains of Eidolon release, we have been receiving an update failure.  The same error is occurring on two machines each with a different account.   Checking for content completes, download goes to more than 98% and then fails with the message:

Some content updates could not be downloaded from our servers.

Please restart Warframe to try again

I tried every 5-10 minutes for a couple of hours with no success.

I deleted the client and re-installed, but it still fails at the same point.

I disabled Malwarebytes, shut down and restarted the client.

I've logged into warframe.com (obviously from this post) and not had any problems connecting or downloading content.

I have the same problem.  Have you tried unchecking "Aggressive Download" or "Bulk Download" (or both) in the launcher? I was playing around with those options on my lunch break and when I left for work it seemed to be still updating (although very slowly). Was wondering if others tried this and had any luck.

  3. I used to play Flimnap for the chance to get 5 packs of R5 cores as a reward.  It wasn't the most efficient for farming fusion cores, but I liked it for the change of pace.  You are not the only one to miss it.

It's because you're used to the current system.

For example, I found out that the most economical way to max out a 3 rank rare mod is to use 2 rare cores, 1 uncommon, and 1 common. But a new player doesn't, and from what I've seen, they always burn up their mod collections in fusion, which they will later regret because they learn that those mods could've been used more wisely (matching polarity, rarity, etc). In the new system, the requirements will be clear. No more checking the wiki if you want to know how many fusion energy this or that needs, you'll see everything you want to know in-game. I don't see how it isn't a simplification?

It is a simplification but it looks like we will lose any bonuses by combining duplicate mods or matching polarities.  For example, a Vitality mod will probably convert into the same amount of Endo as Fast Hands.  If you are a beginner looking to looking to rank up a Vitality, you no longer gain any efficiency by combining duplicate Vitality mods.  It's all the same amount of Endo.  The same for using trash mods of matching polarities to rank up the mod you want.  We will lose the bonuses since everything will convert into a set amount of Endo..

  5. I had the best luck with Eris capture missions.  You can rush to capture the target and then take your time and hang around and kill Infested spawns until the Juggernaut shows up.  Unlike exterminates, there is no limited number of spawns that I know of.

  6. So what would provide the best survivability in the situations where Chroma is taking continuous damage with lots of enemies around and Elemental Ward and Vex Armor runs out while your shields are depleted?  Do most players run to find a place to hide and let their shields recharge before recasting Elemental Ward and Vex Armor again?

Right now I use Steel Charge, Vigor, and Vitality and Ice element, using a sentinel with the Guardian mod. If I am in the middle of battle I just recast Vex Armor and Elemental Ward and keep on going.  I like to play like a tank with Chroma and keep battling as long as I have enough energy to keep my powers up.  Would Electricity be better in this situation to get instant shields in the middle of taking damage to get my Scorn back up again?

  7. Why is the Logoff button hidden in the Profiles menu?  I remember reading that the developers didn't want too many menu items on the top menu (the first one you see when you hit Escape), but I think the Logoff button should be there instead of Quit Game.  Right now it feels awkward to go to [Esc] Profiles --> Logoff every time I want to leave the game.
