  1. The Rift Sigil that arrived on the Tactical Alert last night is behaving in a weird way. Instead of colouring the crevices and adapting to the frame's texture, it has somehow become rectangular and has weird lines and curves that are not supposed to be there. And it is like this on a lot of frames. On some its not that noticable, but its still there and its annoying. Please Please fix this. There already have been a lot of posts about this earlier but none of them have been solved and have already been archived.

I checked on Excal Proto, Mesa (base skin) and Nova Prime. It is very very wonky. Here is an example:

There are many posts like these, but none have been responded to. Please, please fix this. It is heartbreaking to finally get that sigil after so many years just for it to be in a state like this.

  2. Well because, I have only been experiencing this since the last to last update. Also, i play lots of other games, some of them being extremely ping sensitive and still i face no problems.

And as i said, when I used to have a bad connection, it showed me the prompt to wait for or abort on saving mission progress.

Right now, i can get back to the liset, and even get the mission completion screen but still the progress isn't saved.

I have missed the reward for a sortie due to this bug too.

So yeah, I'm sure its not my internet.

  3. This has been happening to me for quite some time now and I ignored it for a bit. But now its getting on my nerves.

I got a three hour resource booster and ran certain missions to level stuff up.

    I played around 5 or 6 missions.

And only the progress of 2 was saved. AND IT'S IRRITATING BEYOND COMPARISON!

I got to my liset and it showed me the end mission rewards. then the little "network not responding" occured and went away in 2 seconds. with the mission results showing all my weapons at 30, i go to the arsenal and see that they are still unranked by some space logic. and due to that i have had to repeat the same mission over and over and its very frustrating.

I know nothing is wrong with my internet. Also, whats bothering me is that, if i do disconnect, it used to show the "progress not saved" dialog box with the option to abort, or you could wait till it re-tried. But even that is not showing up.

Please for the love of god, fix it.

  4. Alright, after playtesting, i can say with confidence that Mesa Peacemaker has become irritating now. That screen shake is horrible honestly. It wont matter much against few low level enemies because they die very soon. But against high level enemies when the aiming circle narrows, the camera shake is crazy! I hope they revert it back to what it was. If it ain't broke, don't fix it please.

Actually I like their simple design (maybe not Paris Prime), I don't know how to make simple bow looks "cool" (cold damage? huehuehue i'm sorry).

What would be more cool is that if the bows had some sort of mechanical parts like the one in the concept above. When the arrow is charged, the bow changes shape completely and it looks insanely good! Not sure if you play league of legends but check out Varus's bow from that game. Also, hanzo's bow from overwatch is a delight to eyes.

And dream I will continue. Dread is one of my top 3 primaries - I, absolutely, love that thing.

Dread is one of my fav too! I pray for dread prime to be a real thing...

  6. But all the bows have such boring designs! They dont feel KILLER, as they should. I have been waiting for a reskin for bows and we got the Dyrad one, which sucks if used on any other frame except oberon. And this is one of the concepts that DE pitched i think. I read it on the Warframe international page and couldn't keep myself contained. Yes it is old, but does anyone have any idea what this was or is there any way to promote this design, so that it comes in light and the devs notice it? We sorely need another bow and one that does not fire farts, or take ages to charge and shoot. I wish we get one with the ASH deluxe bundle...

And since we are stealthy space ninjas, we are sorely under equipped to fit the job description. ( proper ninja fashioned way )

  7. I recently saw this picture and had my mind blown. WHEN THE HELL IS THIS GONNA GET RELEASED??????? Anyone got ANY bit of info whatsoever? Please do share and tell. I have been driven nuts by the design, and this is the Perfect idea of a primary weapon that i had in my mind. As someone who primarily uses bows and has Dread as the most used weapon, I need THIS, so bored of the designs of the other Bows. PLEASE!14732286_2144110852480059_56261325070235

  8. I believe and have believed that despair is one of those weapons that you get, be excited for two days and forget about it, especially since spira prime is here. I used to use kunai back in the day, and it was my most used weapon. As soon as i got despair, i chucked in 3 forma and that thing did some wicked shredding. But the joy was limited because my pride broke once i did a t4 defence and tried to use them. The embarrasment they felt was unreal. So much for being a Stalker weapon, they are just beautified Kunai, nothing more. And yeah, stalker's whole kit is around Slash damage (ignore shadow stalker) . Hate recently got the crit buff, and dread is obviously one of, if not the best bow in the game right now (my most used weapon). But Despair? Meh. I cant even bother to take them off of the shelf anymore. Spira prime got my ninja fetishes covered.

R.I.P Despair. You will be remebered and not sold for credits.

PS: can't really say anything about opticor. i would love it though if it were treated like a bow, i.e, 72 max ammo, no magazine, 0.6 seconds reload, the standard charge time 0.8 and double fire rate from fire rate mods.

I dont mean to disagree with you, but let me quote an example here. Does the Cerata not have a similar mechanic when thrown? It deals Puncture damage when thrown but the weapon has no physical damage at all. And besides, I refuse to believe that they made a weapon and without testing it and using it, they release it to the players. And since the charge attack is the sight to behold here, i really don't believe that it was "UNINTENDED". I do read the patch notes and as happy as i am that i did not buy the bundle on day one of release, i feel sorry for those who did, as many of them saw the vids on Youtube and saw the things it was capable of doing. It was broken? Maybe, but the time it takes to charge up that attack is enough to get killed at even levels as close to 50. So i guess we could call that balance, right? Unlike some weapons that deal millions of damage and dont even do self damage, this one is a high risk/reward scenario. I am not trying to be a jackass here, and i see where you are coming from and i don't completely deny what you are saying but, there is this other side of the coin. Cheers dude.

  10. I would like to add the fact that everyone is disappointed with this change. [DE] says its a "FIX" but in all actuation it is a big big big nerf to one of the only weapons i was interested in after such a loooooooooooooooooooong time! I mean, I am frickin TIRED of all these Crit weapons. Crit here, crit this, crit that... It has come to the point that i hate soma prime and tonkor, i have switched to Karak Wraith and secura penta. And i go for a slash build with weeping wounds on my Nikana Prime, or channeling build on the Fragor Prime, just so i get to mod something differently. It has been so damn repetetive that I know all the mod placements by muscle memory and can fit all the crit mods in any weapon blindly! Because they are the only mods being used. It is really sad that none of the other aspects are even being looked at!

This was a ray of light in the never ending darkness, and i finally though, "Yes! Time for some status modding!" and they turned it into trash. Yeah i know its better than half the weapons in the game still, but come on. I will never use killing blow or the corrupted mod for chanelling damage. I dont remember the name cuz i never used it! I have been using unorthodox builds recently and they are not effective i know, but atleast it gives me a different way to mod the weapons.

Sorry for the Rant, but i had to get it out of the system. But i really cant understand why [DE] did this. They say they pride themselves in respecting player feedback and changing the game according to the community. While there have been incidents where the community has split into two point of views, but in this case, I know in my guts that EVERYONE wants this change to revert. I really hope for it.

  11. I didn't know where to post this so i am doing it here. Has someone noticed that after the halloween update, the Assassin sigils got weird? All three of them, the stalker, the zanuka and the grustrag three sigils are kinda white. even though i have a black color set on them and the energy color of my frame is far from white, they are still white. can anyone tell me if they are also facing this issue?

  12. ooooh! okay. i think i offended some people here and i didn't really intend to to do that. I just thought that when you consider the japanese throwing knives (the real deal) they dont tend to be as long as the Spira. They tend to be somewhat shorter. Of course DE wont change the model just on a single person's whim, but i am glad to atleast have some point of view. i guess the only solution will be making a tennogen skin on my own!

    jk

    thanks, all of you. Cheers!

I obviously can't speak for DE.  But for myself, I enjoy finding "hidden mickeys", as it were.  I WANT things to search out.  RNG means, among other things, that I can bust my a$$ and get absolutely nothing in return.  Hidden rewards are almost always obtainable in return for diligence and hard work.  I'll do the hard work for a nearly-guaranteed reward; I've grown tired of the RNG grind lately.

There's no reason you have to agree, of course.  But if I stay "plugged in" to the community, I've (almost) always heard about less-obvious rewards in time to beat the bushes and turn one up.  Just saying there's a valid POV on the other side.

I am not against hidden rewards. But my point is to atleast let us know that there IS a reward. What it is, you dont really need to tell me if you dont want to. But knowing that something can drop is enough reason for me to play. I did complete the last tac alert as well, but wasnt aware of this reward, so lost my chance at getting it

  14. Hi. I just purchased the day of the dead skin for the Spira. I love the effect the energy color has on that skin, but i can;t really seem to like the base model. When you consider throwing knives, the size of the spira is a bit too big. They are almost as tall as daggers and maybe even double than the other throwing knives (kunai and despair). I know its a bit too late but i really want this thingt to be addressed. If possible, make the blade part of the weapon shorter, and instead of the rounded curve at the tip of the knife, it would really suit the ninja aesthetics if the tip was pointed just like in despair. The flowing ribbons already make it super legit, but if just this last change can be made to the model, then it would really complete the second part of my ninja loadout (accompanied by Nikana Prime). Please let me know your thoughts.

    Cheers!

    Giving info break their hearts.

It must be our job to seek / guess stuff for some reasons.

But how! How can i guess! I have a S#&$ty internet and i cant really frequent forums and stuff. i just use whatever internet i can get and play warframe solo. How am i supposed to get this information? Aren't they supposed to inform us?

  16. I have been feeling this insanely abysmal anger since a few minutes ago. I just read over internet that the tactial alert a few days ago, the one with the nightwatch grineer enemies had a chance to reward the RIFT SIGIL. And some people just randomly got this and they made a reddit post about it. My question as a person who spends more time customizing frames than playing missions is: WHY ARE WE NEVER PROPERLY INFORMED ABOUT THE MISSION REWARDS? Would it hurt to write down a note that Rift sigil also has a drop chance in this tac alert? I have been playing this game for about 3 years now and everytime the sigil comes as a reward, it goes away so silently that i just end up getting frustrated later on. Please tell me whether this halloween tac alert (which i have already completed btw) will reward the Rift Sigil. I need that sigil very badly and I feel Sad that i never got a true chance of getting that sigil, especially this time cuz the alert was really easy to be soloed.

This idea right here is GOLD. I hate the fact that Nekros is considered and used as support.

Also instead of him just gaining an exalted weapon, this should just be an exalted mode all around. To make him a bit different than Excalibur and Valk.

    His other abilities should change.

His #1 should became chains with scythe's attached. They are shoot out from the shadow under his feet as he floats (so that it doesn't impede his sweeping strikes) Hooks onto enemies and drags them to Nekros. They are stunned during the dragging.

His #2 should become a Fear. Rooting enemies in place and reducing their armor/shields.

His #3. Instead of desecration, all the dead bodies within a certain range around Nekros start to make their transfer into the underworld. Thus cold air and mist slowly pours out of their dead bodies, applying chill to any near by enemies.

These abilities can only be used once per transformation.

The animation when he ults.. should be a little dramatic too lol.

Like he rises into the air while his arms are outstretched. His hooded cloak forms and wraps around him while his scythe rises from the ground which he grabs once fully cloaked.  (Should be immune to damage during this time and probably have the same casting time as the Current SoTD)

Dayum, why didn't I think of that!?!? You sir have amazing imagination.

I totally agree.  EdgeFrame totally needs some love.  The Reaper concept is growing on me.  Very interesting idea.

Here is a proposal.  Interacting with copses is the theme while adding more damaging abilities.  #4 is not the only way to raise corpses.  Corpses should be raised in other ways as well, so there are potentially always corpses assisting EdgeFrame.

#1  -  Command the Dead - Multiple abilities you can rotate through like Ivara

    a. Raise dead - A single corpse is raised.  based upon what is under the cross hair

    b. Charge - Command nearby zombies to charge the nearest enemy

    c. Fear - enemies in a cone are affected just like his current #2.  Frees up #2 for something new and more interesting.

    #2 - Accelerated Rot

Corpses near Nekros emit toxin clouds.  Enemies entering the clouds take will immediately (100%) proc toxin with a chance to stack additional procs on top of the initial each second.  Each second there is a chance that they will be stunned and begin retching.  At the end of the abilities duration there is a chance that the corpse will rise as a zombie.  Corpses that do not rise will disappear, but up until that time they are valid targets for #3, Corpse explosion.

    #3 - Corpse Explode

All nearby zombies and Corpse explode for blast viral damage with Knock-back and a high status chance.  Limbs and chunks can rag doll enemies hit by it.  Yeah other nameless games have had corpse explosion, but who cares.  EdgeFrame needs it. Yeah and lots of gore.

Can be used on decomposing corpses.

#4  flamingblueice' Reaper idea.  I admit I have not thought all the way through incorporating it.  :)

    Let me know your thoughts.

This just tells me that players do feel that nekros should be changed in more ways than just making his 3rd a drain. The problem is, when I posted this is general discussions, people went full mob style on me and said that the idea sucks and nekros should be as is. It was hurtful and disappointing. I just wish that they truly make something death related that feels badass as all hell to play with. Nekros has the style but lacks in his kit. So I suggested the change. But thank you all for responding. You guys have great ideas too! Let's hope someone from DE reads some of this. Cheers!

I see why you like it. But this is not how Nekros operates. In all aspects Nekros is not a physically attacking frame. No matter what part of his design you look at. It says necromancer, not physical combatant. His shriveled physique, far scrawnier than any other frame communicates this perfectly. In addition, all of his abililties are specifically non-physical, even his only direct attack one, isn't anything against the physical form, he's punching their soul because he honestly wouldn't have the power of other frames to just punch them. Your suggestion goes against his theme more than it goes for it and would confuse the play style of Nekros, make people wanting to use him as a stinger instead of a Support. Nekros is a Support, he is weak, this is why he summons literal meat shields so that he doesn't get hurt. Him just erupting into this army slaying Reaper beast completely goes against that point. So I am sorry, but I do not think they should put this in the game.

I agree with your point of view as well. But having played as a necromancer in quite a few games, I kinda feel like the only job nekros is doing in a squad is sitting at a spot spamming 3. Many would like to disagree but I am sorry as it is the brutally honest truth. I proposed this ability so that he won't be a sitting duck and would be used actively. Even so, necromancers atleast have some sort of buffs for squad mates and also help contribute towards damage. As far as the physical aspect of his attacks is concerned, may I suggest an energy scythe that appears and disappears into thin air? Lol, don't take it the wrong way. I just want nekros to be interesting to play. If he's squishy, then he better have damage too. That's what I think though, cuz I want so desperately to play more of him. Cheers for your suggestions though.

  19. Hi. This thing has been on my mind for an insane amount of time, and now since nekros is being revisited, I think it's the right time for me to propagate this idea.

Nekros, according to me is hands down the most coolest and badass looking Warframe ever. And his theme which is based around death and resurrection in itself oozes of awesomness. But, when it comes to his abilities, to be frank, aren't they very lackluster for a frame themed on death? I mean, if you have a necromancer, do you expect him to get you more loot? Or do some evil death based stuff that you would normally expect? In view of the above thought stream, I had an idea for an ability that would change the way people look at Nekros forever.

How it would fit in the kit? Remove the shadows of the dead (not entirely) or remove the lacky soul punch and shift all abilities one step back so that the fourth slot remains open. Now coming to the ability:

    Name: the Harbinger

Idea: Nekros will transform, into a ghastly looking harvester, the reaper or death form that we all know. In this form, he'll float off ground (no walking) and he'll be armed with a huge scythe. The scythe would do sweeping strikes along a large radius and would work almost like an exalted weapon. But with a twist. Instead of his energy, his health will be drained continuously. Also, the Harbinger scythe will have an added mechanic. The enemies slain by it will emit a SOUL on death, and those souls will be stored in the scythe (UpTo a limited number) intensifying the energy color on the scythe. The ability will deactivate on either a toggle or when the player reaches a certain minimum health maybe (10?). But when deactivated, all the souls stored in the scythe will be released and work as the shadows of the dead, so that in their cover, you have some time to regain your health. Also, the passive works for this as well. So when you kill someone you receive 5 health. So that way it can be kept active for a feasible amount of time.

I also have some ideas for the aesthetics but I don't think they mattee, until the ability is actually considered. This may sound OP to some, but if you like the idea, please propagate it. Cuz it's high time that the death frame started killing stuff and not doubling the loot you get.

    Thank you

  21. I set my matchmaking to public, with a ping limit of 400, and what started happening is that it said Finding Squad, the please wait animation, it would appear that someone has joined but then goes back to finding squad, It doesn't give me the Play Now option at all!!! Please Fix this

I recently got the Akstiletto Prime, and i notices something that really turned me off... When you apply your color scheme in the arsenal, it applies normally. But during gameplay, when you zoom in (right click) you can see that the energy color in the magazine has turned back to the default blue. It feels so bad and so out of picture that i kinda don't want to use it in the mission anymore. Had to literally come up with a color scheme involving the default energy color. Please fix this.

The new Forma changes are a welcome, but here is the real issue:

Has any player ranked all the way through without using the god lord of cheesing/kids playground Draco?

Has any player who added more than 10 plus Forma onto their weapons or Frame without using Draco? (MR 20's can be an exclusion in this as they are partially out of the intense grind cycle)

With Draco/cheesing mechanics out of the picture how would you picture adding multiple Forma to weapons or Frames? (MR 20 - 22) this topic is a bit more oriented to other players in the intense levelling bracket but your opinions are welcome.

My main point here is Forma should just power up your frame, weapons, the whole or rather vast majority of Warframe is based on Draco runs, in that adding Forma is not an issue just because you can cheese it or else is Draco considered a legitimate way of levelling up?

I'm not a representative of the keyboard warriors segment of Warframe, i'm just hoping this thread will shed some light in to this... So opinions/thoughts though painfull are most welcome..

oh.. and Please minimize the Salt levels

Here is one honest opinion from one of the posts:  That's the thing too, I used draco to try and paint a minimal(ish) timeframe for a relevelling.
One time not too long ago I used purely t1 exterminates to 1-30 a gun and I think it was about 8 hours of game time just for one cycle, it was a real grind haha.

Hey buddy, Its true that Draco seems kinda like "A thing" now. But before there was draco, there were many other ways people used to level weapons up. Whats silly is the fact that people are so intimidated by its presence that no other way seems possible. Here's an example of how i've been leveling my akstiletto p, forma'd it 3 times,(lvl 26 now, one more mission and 30 :)): i did spy mission on pluto. 5-6 perfect runs and boom, three rewards plus weapon levelled up. And now if you say that people dont have high level mods for stealth builds and yada yada yada, then here's another alternative and my favourite one to be honest... T1 defence. Just take that one weapon that you wann alevel up,  and a frame that you know you are good with. 25 waves... weapon is maxed. The best part is that you get to use the weapon and level it. and that's a max 30 mins.

So dont fret, just enjoy the game the way you want. Whether its draco cheesing or other ways to do it.

    Cheers!

    P.S: I appreciate you opening up. :)
