  1. The whole elemental combination system needs an overhaul. Or how modding works in general.

There should be elemental mods that don't combine (easy content DE) and more combined elemental mods (viral, corrosive etc)

Also, with the way polarities and build tabs work, on many weapons if you have a full build + riven you need to forma every slot so you can really only have one build.

Why there isn't a universal forma for normal slots, I don't get it. Modding kind of sucks right now.

  2. I think Warframe is just overdeveloped at this point. There is little room for progression, turning the game into just collecting the newest shiny toy. Our power level has gotten so bad, that new high-end enemies just get a damage cap, rendering most of your existing progression useless.

Most new things are now just weekly which is just extremely monotone and boring.

None of the new game modes on the last 2 tilesets are beeing used anywhere else in the game (like for relics) further reinforcing the monotony.

The game has turned into a mindless kill-everything-at-120-mph content consumption. Funny because thats what we warned the devs about so many years ago. But back then they at least bothered to nerf things and left room for progression.

So yeah, they need to hit us with another major nerf and rebalance patch. Or just make Warframe 2. Game is a bit of a mess anyway.

Btw I've been playing for 10 years so I've seen all the S#&$ the game went through. This is less about the game dying and more about it just becoming.. pointless. Story wise too.

Or some people just get bored with a story that has no stakes. The same happens with saturated movie franchises, some anime, or other video games narratives. Warframe quests are still "nice" in the sense of content, but I've personally stopped caring after the way The New War wrapped up. Teshin for example, was rendered insignificant. The questline for many years built up a semblance of risk and loss, but The New War completely tossed that out the window, so there's a really easy reason to just not care or be invested in your own story as a player.

I bet it's because the original writers lost interest in Warframe and moved onto Soulframe. Steve has apparently done alot of the original writing of Warframe. I don't know who excatly is to blame for the multiverse stuff but whoever came up with that, put a death mark on the story.

And also we still have open plot points of the original writing.

Summary of things still promised, incomplete, juggling in the air

-Lifting the whole (content islands are still very disconnected)

-A proper story mode containing the old events; we go forward with more and more complex stories but old stuff that is actual canon lore and important to the development of some characters like Alad V, Vay Hek or Tyl Regor is missing IN the game, and a Wikia page is not the place where a player has to search for it

-Wall running replacing wall hopping still not a thing (although mentioned in devstream, and hey...new games ripping Warframe off will do it), Geoff mentioned some problem...which hasn't been resolved yet?

-UI still unfinished...from December 2018...it's almost 5 (FIVE) years

-Command wheel for pets (maybe second part of companion rework?)

-Leverian not seeing any entry for a while (another thing that had been left in the limbo, you started it and then forgot it...it was May 2019)

-Many new frames still don't have noggles (minor thing...but why Warframe Noggles don't drop 1 month after the frame release? I don't say day and date, but at least not year after)

-Drop chances revision as a QoL; the game has soooo much to do and collect that 0,0001% drop rate chances are just obnoxious

-Where's Rage melee mode (also known as Changelling 2.0), mentioned in 2019, as the final phase of melee rework

-Modulary archwing/Archwing melee revisit, another thing from 2019, then coupled with Scott idea to remove Archwing missions (NO, but they must be revisited)...where's Archwing gonna go in the game? What's his future?

-Railjack integration with open worlds, like it was shown and promised at Tennocon

-Squad link, did you really gave up on the idea? If there's the tech that makes Cross Platform, I don't think Squad Link will be impossible to achieve

-3rd Orb fight, sitting in a lake since November 2018

-Sergeant/Phorid boss fights revisions...Sergent revision mentioned as Nef Anyo's fight BEFORE Fortuna was released

-Trials/Raids they were removed in March 2018 (5 YEARS)...a content many player loved, it was promised to bring back something in that vein but no news yet

None of this will happen as none of this is monetizable.

Then you likely arent playing SP all that much, and only engage with it to reach the weekly caps. I play it daily and there are just too many weeks of downtime on things to buy, so the essence adds up over time during those weeks when I just buy Kuva. And if I felt a need to speed things up I would just knock out the incursions since there is no RNG with those while they provide 2.5x the essence of an acolyte kill, with the addition of an acolyte potentially apprearing. And the incursion essence is enough to cap your weekly kuva.

And as I said, it is overrated, which isnt the same as useless. The reason it is overrated is because there are so many people that use it without actually needing it, but they never actually stop to look if it provides them anything worthwhile. I have no reason to use an item to farm an abundance of essence that I cannot use since SP is one of the activites I do regularly anyways, especially since fissures were added to it. And at this point in the game most other resources aside from the rare Bile are completely pointless to get more of.

I only play SP if possible. But not that much Warframe right now. Charm gives me lots of value though, get more for my time played. For me its not overrated, I know for a fact it makes a huge difference to me.

Which is so utterly pointless unless you are as I said somewhere in the early/middle of things, since there is only a finite amount of things to buy. There is absolutely no reason to use a smeeta for it, since you will end up with more essence and slivers than you can possibly spend eitherway by simply playing SP. I'm practically doing my syndicate standing in SP daily and I can never empty my essence or sliver stash. And that is without doing incursions for a guaranteed higher SE yield per day.

When SP was focused around Eximus killing and the essence didnt start to roll in properly until after 45-ish minutes (outside of Odin) smeeta was useful, since it brought the avarage essence per hour up to what is now the standard with zero buffs. And back then it was even hard to rely on the smeeta alone to hike up the yield to the new standard, you most often preferably needed a booster aswell. So smeeta became pointless when they changed SP to acolytes as the means for essence drops, since it buffed avarage guaranteed essence gain up to former booster+smeeta levels, and allowed it to be done with any frame since you no longer needed the highest KPM.

Kuva and relics reset weekly. And same with riven slivers. Think its like 270 steel essence for kuva alone every week? Charm cuts that down by alot for me. And I've been playing for 10 years so def not mid game, I would notice charm missing.

There are over 40,000 different combinations for gun and bow rivens, and almost 25,000 for melee rivens. The fact you're a muppet who's satisfied by mediocrity doesn't replace the reality of actual math and the probability of landing on the roll you are looking for. Your 1 million kuva is only good for 285 rolls, for comparison. The "plenty" kuva of 70k a week is 20 rolls. Like the previous person said, I'd be happy to grind out rolls in the current system IF THE GAME'S LIFESPAN OR MY OWN HAD ENOUGH HOURS AVAILABLE. Now quit being an insufferable wad

    Grow up

Hitting me with that reddit tier math lol.

Youre on the forums since june this year so i guess youre a new player. Maybe finish the tutorial first before trying your luck at rivens :*

Oh, is that what it is? I just figured it was checking the first pellet impact, and if that wasn't a headshot it would just disregard the rest. Since the "hitscan" weapons are just projectile weapons with the projectile speed cranked up to whatever their system max is.

Yes, its a bug introduced in the first month of incarnon genesis when they ironically fixed multishot not counting at all for shotguns.

Its also been reported repeatedly but guess its just not "worth a developer" to fix.

If you roll a riven once every couple weeks, sure. 🥴

I reroll until I get stats im happy with regardless of rollcount. I only recently dipped below million kuva (thx 100 reroll lex) which I managed to stay at for a long time while just getting the 70k kuva a week and still rerolling rivens for the incarnons of the week. We get like 1 or 2 weapons a month if you average it out, 70k a week is plenty for that if you would even get a riven for every single one of these.

If you are flipping rivens for plat or expect godrolls on everything then again, you of course have to put the time in.

I gladly would if I had that much time in the game's lifespan, or my lifespan for that matter.

Couple hours grind can set you up for months. No need to spend much time on the game at all.

And besides that, rivens arent neccessary, they are an optional endgame grind. Of course thats more going to be for people who spend a little bit more time on the game.

I think that SE exploit with the fissure booster was broken, for sure. But at the same time, I was about to take advantage of it, because the current state of kuva farming is also just as broken. There is currently no practical way of obtaining enough kuva to roll our favorite rivens. It takes a full 5hr SP kurvival fissure at max efficiency to roll a riven 100 times. To get the roll you want, on average, it'll take about 30,000 rolls. We need a better kuva farm, like the original SE farm on Ophelia when it dropped from eximus. Not saying it needs to be so braindead you can macro it and afk for days (even though it still currently is), but it needs to yield more kuva. I support development of active farms, but not ones as slow as we have. Also when Void Dash

Kuva farm is fine. Its 10x better than what it used to be and you get an easy 70k every week. Its perfectly fine considering how much power they give. If you want to get godrolls on every weapon then expect to put the time in.
