Ya this is definitely some guy who trolled trading. You know you can send a support ticket if you believe the ban was unwarranted?

A scam from Eve? Players trying to scam do get harsh punishment, and it may be hard to prove if he was legitimately attempting to scam.
We really can't help you here, but it sounds like you got an issue a little larger than just a misunderstanding.
Except when you go through the logs (as they did) and see that everybody was told "Hey man it was a joke and a mistype, ignore it."
But that wasnt the reason stated for the ban/revocation of trades anyways. it was literally "you never had 5000 platinum". So... Thats why people are concerned.

if this is true, then i think they are setting an example of you. and you are helping them by spreading it on forums.
I serious doubt that they would have permanently banned you from trade unless there is something you are not admitting to.
I have been screwed over very hard before on trade and i had screen shots and reported the person and all they did was give him a short vacation from the game. I think perhaps you are not understanding the punishment you have been dealt and you need to contact support to rectify this problem either way. personally, i dont mind if they start dishing out punishments for trolling and etc on trade tabs as it is incredibly annoying at times.
I believe it definitely was an example of heavy handed moderation. But for a simple mistype, it was far out of line. If something bad had come of it or if I took advantage of the situation, then yes, I would be fine with the ban or whatever. But since literally nothing happened, It has become more of an issue, especially since it had started to worry some of my clan mates and I cant give them any answer.

Im pretty sure. As I said I cant explicitly discuss moderation on the forums but my trading privileges were revoked permanently.

Let me guess. He caused a shat storm by offering to buy something for 5000 plat, got caught by a person in charge, and ban hammered for it so you came here to complain for "your friend".

Providing that it's all reported after its found, there is nothing wrong with bug detection and exploitation. It helps the games development, I'm aware of some major breaking exploits which are in the hands of DE, when posting my first exploit report. I checked with support and they confirmed its nothing which will cause a ban unless it's gross abuse
Confirming that the mirage infinite arrow PvP exploit needs further testing.

All ive seen throughout this entire thread is one ICE fanboy/member and a community that hates him.
To the fanboy/member, you couldnt have thought the community wouldnt have been mad, as they were yesterday in your prediction thread. Also the S#&$ty use of DC tactics was unbearable.
To the community, Stop acting like a group of five year olds and whining about S#&$. Either dont run the rail, or challenge it yourselves with the broken system.

Its PvP, the general objective is to screw the other person. That being said, I havent seen host migration and DCs on this scale in a long time. Im thinking that whole system needs a rework and not just this stupid thing that little kids do.

I'm starting to feel some of the un-noted changes, I.E less XP, sentinels getting nerfed, etc. Are intentional and not a bug.
Edit: Mutalist Ospreys in ODD, I meant.
Un-noted changes are the worst. I honestly dont get why devs feel like they shouldnt write it in the logs.

I dunno, I rather enjoy hearing random comments about someone's ex wife or how they didnt get s*** that run.
Anyways, aside from the random inane comments and people who drivel through the forums and dont read threads before posting, I actually will be using some of these responses (vaguely and anonymously of course, though I will link this thread) if and when they ever decide to respond to my escalation request on my ticket...
Thanks for voicing your opinions, good or bad, and watch your &#! in trade chat; at least if you value your trades.
