The ONLY thing platinum is used for in the game is to get stuff quicker/instantly.

 

99% of the platinum prices for weapons are SO Overpriced. 

 

If you get any bit of knowledge from this post OP, If you get Platinum dont waste it on the market on weapons as EVERY SINGLE WEAPON/WARFRAME Ect... in the ENTIRE game (Except for Event stuff) is available in the game by playing the game. Platinum is not needed at all to enjoy the game and obtain items.

This sounds not OP at all for base stats.

That's why you let them be sold  in the AH for in game currency. People with more money than time can buy them and sell them there, and people with more time can farm for cash and rare items to toss into the AH and use that to buy the cosmetic items without spending real money. Cash shop items have more of a reason to be purchased, but you can still get them without spending real money for them.  It's win-win.

No. Because its been in other games and it becomes an extorbant price. You and that idea can go die.

No, and no.  Offering stats that can only be purchased with real money is the first step to making a Pay-to-win game.

Sadly, I don't think that many developers will see it that way, not when money is involved.

If they priced things better than $20 a frame, I might buy one or two, rather than just buy a few prime frames and weapons.

The player market has redefined the value of platinum. I can go out right now and buy a full set of Rhino Prime parts + BP, buy a slot for it, and potato it for less than half the amount of platinum I would have spent on a frame straight from the shop.

 

Hell, rushing it would STILL be less than paying for the normal Rhino.

 

I think minimums will be added as to how much plat can be traded at once, to protect the worth of DE's virtual currency. Which is sad, in my opinion.

The value players put on things is a very good thing in my opinion. It should tell DE how to price things rather than the extorbant prices thaey are currently.

Nyet. Lower all non prime frames to 75. Add prime frames with no expansion slot or potato for 300.
