How do you guys value riven mods??

How to know when a riven mod has a good price or bad price range? (Warframe.market can't help)

I try to be fair at selling my unrolled riven mods but everytime the buyer ask me for the price, I give a price and then, the person is quiet. The conversation stop... He doesn't even try to negotiate.

Values will vary from player to player.

Veiled mods, 20p-70p depending on weapon type.  I think the drop rate for shotgun rivens is still 1.2% or something ridiculous like that.

Unveiled rivens can be all over the place.  Unpopular weapon with bad rolls, 20p-40p.  Unpopular weapon with god rolls, 100p+.  Popular weapon with bad rolls, 60p-400p.  Popular weapon with god rolls, 1500p+.

I might misremember, but we only get gems from mining, not arcanes. The arcanes come from the Eidolon.

The Arcanes will be for our Operator, the gems for our weapons.

I think all the confusion with this is when [DE]Scott mentioned that mined gems would be used to craft custom arcanes during devstream 97.

Edit: yeah, devstream 97, timestamp 20:00 to 20:28.

Gems are for crafting arcanes for battle operators and custom weapons.

Does anyone know of any better all round builds? (preferably with more in duration and strength at the sacrifice of range)

    Different strokes for different folks.

Personally I like 170% efficiency on all my frames (streamline + fleeting expertise r3), even on Trinity, a frame with near-infinite energy.

I mod for survivability and min-maxing useful skills after that.

I come here to ask for a new alert time in the night, because none all players can get the morning alerts. Thanks in advance!

The 2-hour alerts are random, they do not appear at set times.

You can also earn catalysts and reactors from...

-Post devstream, "Gift of the Lotus" 24-hour alerts.  (once every couple weeks)

-Invasion big reward.  (they rotate in once every three or four weeks)

    -Log-in reward milestones.

    -Sortie

    -Events and/or Operations

Just so I understand, when you say "Raids", are you referring to the Law of Retribution and Jordas Verdict?

Ok, well when it comes to primaries and secondaries, if you've modded them to successfully take out Sortie 2 level enemies then it doesn't really matter what you bring.

abbacephas is correct when it comes to the raids.  The LoR is more about hard-cc'ing enemies rather than killing them.  However, in the JV you'll need to kill enemies for stage resource requirements. But as long as your mods are leveled, it truly doesn't matter which weapons you bring.

I made a post about a day back asking about using Lesion with Saryn, and I got some recommendations for melee Combo Counter mods like Drifting Contact.

Now, I'm sure there's nothing wrong with Combo Counter stuff, but here me out: My initial plan was to use all of the 60/60 mods (set up for Corrosive/Blast to help deal with armor) to get Lesion to a 100% stat chance then cast Toxic Lash. Alongside that I'd have Pressure Point and Fury/Reach (wasn't sure which one is better, since Lesion is supposed to be kinda small for a polearm), and finally Healing Return and Condition Overload.

My reasoning was that if I'm fighting something low-leveled, it'll die before it does anything important. If I'm fighting something high leveled, its huge health will actually benefit me, since every swing I'd proc 1 or 2 statuses, and I have a total of 7 different statuses that can be proc'd using Saryn (Impact, Puncture, and Slash innate to the weapon, Corrosive and Blast from mods, Toxin from Toxic Lash, and Viral from Spores). The chances to proc the different statuses might vary, but Condition Overload would send the damage numbers through the moon (multiplier of x26.84 at maximum, and even if we say the average was... oh... 2-3 statuses, that still gives a bonus of x2.56-x4.10 damage!), and I'd be getting anywhere from 11 to 77 hp back per strike with Lesion.

The recommendation I got was to keep most of what I had, rearrange the 60/60 mods to make Gas and Cold (which I understood, I don't need to use Toxic Lash to put toxin on enemies, and Cold slows them inside the gas bubble), and use the last slot for Drifting Contact to add 10 seconds to the Combo Counter's timer and boost Status Chance a bit more.

All of that finally out of the way, I was confused as to why people were recommending Combo Counter stuff. I (sort of) understand how it works: you get successive hits, you build a combo, and your weapon's damage gets multiplied. I'll admit that I don't know how much it's multiplied by. Don't hit things for 3 seconds (without mods), and you lose the combo. But is the Combo Counter's damage bonus really large enough that it matters that much? Besides, it doesn't take a lot of effort to hit things 5-45 times to get anywhere from 2x to 3x counter. Especially in something like an Infested Dark Sector. If I become reliant on the Combo Counter boost, won't that just hurt more in the long run?

Extending the combo duration with either body count or drifting contact is more of a playstyle preference.

If you like to use equipped-melee often, then it makes sense to equip one of them.

If you only use your melee weapon to break containers and little else, then you can go without either.

    - Zephyr : Awesome Abilities, beautifull and funny 4, but useless. Will never deal enough damage agains't level 50 + when weapons can one shot all...

    - Ember : Same. We all use ember only for the Heat damage boost (augment mod for the 2)

    - Volt : Control Only. Deal not enough damage on the 1 and 4 to be viable. I use Volt only for the speed and shields...

    - Ash : Only his invisibility is viable, and we have Loki for that... Other abilities are useless. Shuriken deal nothing in damage, and the 4 is just a big waste of time. Fun, but useless when you can oneshot all with weapons quickly.

A LOT of Other warframes have useless abilities that have clearly not enough base damage to be viable against level 50+ mobs.

I don't use any of these frames in the manner you've described.

Sorry, I can't agree with your assessment.

Here in Warframe utility > damage.

  8. Alright, this post is going to sound like an endorsement, lol.

I've been loving the hell out of the Switch.  Despite its flaws (small internal memory, clunky voice chat system, account management, non-transferrable game saves, etc) I feel as though this system is going to have some seriously good gaming experiences over the next several years.  So....like a full blow gaming addict, I went gonzo on game purchases over the past week.  Zelda: BotW, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Ultra SF2, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Splatoon 2, Ironcast, Minecraft, NeuroVoider, and Fast RMX.

Although a Nintendo product wasn't my first gaming experience in life (I started with Atari 2600 in 1982), Nintendo has remained the most consistent in my life.

The Switch is a step in the right direction when compared to the Wii U, so I'm going to support it until the end of its production (years from now).

    On the horizon?

Steamworld Dig 2, Stardew Valley, Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Doom, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, etc.  And those are all before Christmas.

    *sigh*

Too many games, not enough hours in the day.

Please help new People and returnees preparing for the Megaupdate Plains of Eidolon.

What should they do/ Farm/ Play/ Build until the Update arrives?

    I start with:

    1. Level and Forma your favorite Warframe/ Weapons/ Companion/ Archwing for your first Steps in the PoE Zone.

I intend to make some popcorn.

Because we console tenno will have to wait six to eight weeks after PC gets PoE before we get it.

Lots of my fellow console tenno are going to get antsy-in-the-pantsy over that waiting period, which should be fun to watch.

    This ^

Desecrate gives you a 60% chance to roll an extra life support drop from enemies killed.

A proper Nekros build can go half an hour without activating a single life support station.

That's 400 each. It's 4,000 for a whole set. That's almost $200 worth of Platinum. That is an obscene amount.

Sorry, I can't agree.  Firstly...again, PC players get 75% off platinum coupons.  Considering that, no...it wouldn't be "almost $200".  Secondly, even here on consoles (where players don't get 75% off platinum coupons), if I played just two hours a day every day I could earn 4000 platinum through tradeframing in two or three months.  I could earn that amount in less time, depending on various factors.  Time played, RNGesus, trade demand, etc.

4k platinum is a trivial amount if you put forth a little effort.

You say that like that's an obscene amount of plat or something.

    Which it isn't.

Besides, you PC-masterrace players get those 75%-off-plat-coupons don't you?
