  1. i wouldn't say to nerf range, just add a cooldown, give other players a chance to fight.
  2. Hi, you should listen to your player base. Because the LAST thing you wanna do is piss them off. You should be apologizing about this recent hotfix, not on what it was prior. Dante was AWESOME upon release, and in fact, I would dare say he was worth farming hours for to obtain. I hadn't had that much fun with a warframe since Sevagoth's release. And changing his Tragedy to only kill enemies in Line of Sight was a tragedy in and of itself, and removed any reason to build him apart from the overguard and mastery rank. And don't give us that BS of utilizing Dante's other abilities because we still have Saryn, the warframe only good for clearing rooms, and you still refuse to nerf that OP frame because you know very few would play her if you did. What even is the point of nerfing frames to begin with? It's not like any of us are playing PVP, it isn't really a thing in this game and even so, most of the newer frames that have been released aren't even available in that conclave game mode. Dante is a Warframe players obtain so late in the game if they're not outright buying him, having to go through so much work, it only seems right to keep him as overpowered as he was before you nerfed him. I'll say if you really wanted to nerf him, a simple ten second cooldown for his 4th would have been just fine. Changing it to a LoS doesn't fix him, it destroyed any chances of people really playing him. You want people to play your cool new warframes that you work months if not years on, but removing the parts that really make them enjoyable just gives the opposite effect. You basically gave us a high value car, but removed the engine so that we can't go anywhere with it but hey, LOOKS COOL RIGHT!? Just revert the nerf, that's all we want. #justicefordante
  3. I'm unsure if it's just me, but as someone who has played Sevagoth since he came out, putting a lot of time and resources into this edgy frame and standing proudly as my most used frame in the game; I find that every other ability he has is great except for his Exalted Shadow; which I almost never use and it saddens me because it just feels like a waste of time to transform into. I mean, even with the new augment, this form is practically useless and just feels tedious just to fill up the death well, transform, cast Death's Harvest, reunite with the main form, then cast reap. And that's why I firmly believe that Sevagoth, specifically his shadow needs a rework. The shadow should be something to anticipate putting time into, because as cool as it was in the beginning, there is almost no reason to jump into this form; so I came up with some ideas: 1. Have the Shadow function as a separate unit that can fight alongside Sevagoth, sort of like Wukong's Celestial Twin or Excalibur Umbra when in operator/drifter form; and if you wish, you can jump into the Shadow form via Transference if you want more control of it. I would find this to be helpful if you want to use his augment more effectively, because the Shadow could automatically cast Death's Harvest and you can follow suit with Reap. 2. This could be a bit too OP but just bear with me: Remove the Exalted Shadow ability entirely and just rely on filling the Death Well for the passive, and if you unfortunately die and go into the Shadow form, you are forced to fill up a "Life" Well before the Death Well drains completely or you get downed in that form too. 3. I think #2 could allow room for another ability for the 4th slot that could utilize the Death Well, like the previous idea having an NPC unit that you have the option of possessing instead of a form that does nothing for you, a death ray that can inflict massive damage but drains the well faster, or another, less effective nuke that instantly kills everything within the ability range and completely drains the Well the second its cast and you must wait for the Well to repair itself, leaving you vulnerable and unable to hop into the Shadow form if you get downed. 4. The Shadow form should have some ranged abilities that don't just rely on being up close, like his claws should do what Excalibur's Exalted Blade does and hurl "beams" across the room, like tears through reality that cut through enemies from a distance, and if we could work with the previous ideas, the Shadow's Reunite can be replaced as well, maybe with an ability similar to Ash's Blade Storm, targeting a bunch of enemies that get consumed in darkness and refill the Death Well so the Shadow can fight longer 5. The Shadow can have another well to fill and when reunited boosts Sevagoth's stats tenfold, giving the Shadow some level of purpose than just being a slightly stronger operator to use when retreating. I feel if ideas like this can be spread around we can see Sevagoth's Shadow a lot more frequently being utilized a lot more effectively, because right now its something that has no use. I mean if I could just give the Shadow a subsumable ability I could see a lot more use out of him. I only ask for all to be respectful in the replies, these are just ideas I have been having as of late and I would like to see some improvements on Sevagoth alongside other Warframes.
  4. I have been playing Warframe for a while now, and from all the changes this game has had over the years the thought dawned on me: what if we could play the older versions of this game? Now i'm not talking 3 years ago, or around the Sacrifice update where the game still looks like where its at now. I'm talking back in the game's early development. Back when Loki was of the main 3 choices, where the bosses like Vey Hek weren't even developed yet, before there was a real story and you were just a robot ninja killing and farming. Back when the orokin derelict was still around. I highly doubt it would be possible to recreate older versions of the game but I think it would be pretty cool, it would be a large project in and of itself. Like Minecraft where the game has a list of snapshots of the older versions and you can play on the launch menu. I think the closest thing we have to that is Dark Sector, as that was the predecessor to Warframe.
