The problem would be map size and design. Warframe has small corridors for maps because they made the map procedural generated, meaning most maps require doors to pass between tiles. This doesn't work very well with large enemies, so much that they had to change Juggernaut from huge size into his tiny version. It's fine if this were a boss encounter and has specialized arena a large open space like Vay Hek Terra-frame.

Generally large mid-mission bosses are a great idea and DE wants to put those in the game soon anyways. It just adds a new fun layer of difficulty.

Regarding the problem with the actual size of big enemies; I could imagine 2 ways to solve this problem:

    1. When the mini-boss appears, lock all doors, just like when Stalker appears. That way the big enemy can move freely and you can't just run away through small doors.

    2. Since there are a few Team related issues with #1 (everyone has to be in the same tile). Create a Tile specifically for that mini-boss and put that tile into the normal tilesets, there will only be an entrance, the exit to the next tile will be locked. When everyone has entered the room, lock the entrance aswell and the boss appears, you kill it, and all doors open and you can proceed. That would also add an actual incentive to kill the boss, because he blocks your way through the mission.

There are a few alterations to this obviously, but definitely possible.

  2. i'm too angered to write a detailed review.

Just my 2 cents: The Index part of the new Quest is super frustrating. Loosing credits isn't fun. Especially when you loose them in the Cheat-Part. There is no other option but to loose the invested credits. I actually ALT+F4'ed when i got instakilled a couple times, because i didn't realise it was actually part of the Mission. It's not communicated very well.

The Whole thing is just stressful, and boring at the same time. Too much repetition.

It just felt like a middlefinger right in the face.

    EDIT:

When you know how the whole Index part of the Quest works, it is not that bad. The Problem is, when you play it blind, you get frustrated.

Still, 3 rounds every time is just too much. Boring.

PS: In all the years i've almost always liked the updates and enjoyed pretty much all the Quests. This Quest however... Don't ever do that again DE!

  3. It is controversial, but as it is now, its hardly useful.

Inaros is so powerful he wont die on lower levels and against enemies level 80+ where he could actually need the sarcophagus, it becomes useless.

  4. Just wondering.

To answer your question. No I don't think any of these applications do what they are advertising.

The only reason Platinum Generators exist, is to steal your account info and/or install malware on your PC.

You should generally stay away from people or software that offer something for free that usually costs money.

  5. Draco:

I do use Draco to level most of my gear. I'm already Rank 21 though and i only started using Draco after more than at least 1200h into the game.

I did a few runs with that Mesa setup when it was kind of new (Mesa, Pull mag, 2 leechers)

But i stopped doing that pretty fast since it's super boring and spoils the fun.

Since then i still use Draco but i keep varying my loadouts and i only play with random ppl, just running around killing stuff; no special tactics. Most of the time i find that pretty enjoyable.

Now that being said, I highly recommend new players not to use Draco or any other kind of power leveling.

I got to know some new players that quickly lost interest, because they were pushed too much by the help of veterans.

Personally when i was new, i only played together with another new player and we made our way through the Solar System unlocking nodes and getting ressources.

That part is important, because that is what kept me interested and motivated. If i was power leveling from the beginning, I probably would've lost interest.

    So,

tl;dr: Power leveling is kind of necessary with the current Item system and i think it's fine. But the game should keep new players away from power leveling as long as possible.

    EDIT:

Actually one problem with affinity gain is that you only get a reasonable amount of exp in certain mission types.

And mostly that is just Interception.

Watching new players on Youtube the leveling pace seems fine and reasonable.

But i think at some point you have so much gear to level that you need more and more exp.

    Possible solutions:

    - Leave EXP gain for new players as it is

    - at a certain Mastery Rank increase exp gain for all gear (proportional to the Mastery Rank, eg: MR 0-7 100%, MR 8-10 120%, MR 11-15 150% etc.) numbers are just an example.

    - also change exp gain so that it's more even across game types! You get way too little exp from non-endless missions compared to endless missions. With the exception of Spy missions with their bonus for hacked terminals, wich is a great start.

    - So, objectives should yield a whole lot more EXP in any mission, wich would also promote objective gameplay.

  6. I like the change to the Excavation missions, but I feel that the change to defense wasn't that necessary. Even with the Eximus event my team had no issues holding that pod for those 20 waves.

20 waves were more tedius than anything. it just took forever to finish.

  7. I love how DE presented the lore in this quest and the way they implemented new systems together with the lore.

The way you earn Focus points needs to be adjusted and the Tenno customization could use a few more options and tweaks, but overall i'm really impressed with what DE has done.

This is true art, more than some overpriced static painting :)

  8. Loki P trust me. Do a few solo stealth runs where you stealth murder the entire map. You'll thank me in game after.

I max focus every day in a single mission for about 12-15min worth of farming. It'll take some getting used to, but this is by far the fastest best way thus far.

does it work the same with ivara? because i main her atm..
