  1. The sirens blare, the cephalon panics, the ship quakes... I rush to the rear of my ship, a lone Grineer has made a camp fire and is toasting a marshmellow. I stamp them both out. I return to the helm wondering what all the fuss was about...

Gotta say the new changes to RJ have gone a long way to making it feel more dynamic and fun! But, when the hazards were described as being more of a big deal I was expecting that to be reflected in the visuals. But, no. If it's not being worked on already we might need some changes to how the Omni tool works and how intimidating the new hazards are, a tiny fire, a little patch of sparks and a small scrape in the hull don't really make me feel like something I should be worried about.

I want a whole section of the ship in vaccuum, I want fire and smoke filling my vision, I want electrical arcs threatening my safety! But right now we got a small hiss, a cosy flame and some pretty lights. I just give them a light spritz and they're fixed. I'm not feeling it.

  2. Might be a good concept for UI design: add a link icon that connects element mods and can be enabled/disabled. It would be a clear visual for new players how the elements are interacting and add a useful feature. Question is though do DE want people going around with 4 elements added to their weapons?

  3. Saw this dudes head and thought I'd finally make a post about this issue. Seems to go away when HDR is disabled. Any bright source of light seems to go into negative; I see this a lot on melee weapon effects but happens with any light source.

If Nightwave is going to stay the course like it looks like it will, I'll simply stop playing.

I'm not having fun, I hate how much these "challenges" are more like a laundry list of poorly designed frustrating chores. And I especially hate how it gates me from something that would enhance my personal fun factor with the game.

And I completely dread having to do this over and over again, people like to chime about how you only need to do 60% of the content to get to the final ranks, and while that may be true, what happens when the goals are all so tedious and poorly designed that you either have to skip a majority of them, or don't even want to try?.

I took one look at this weeks goals and I almost got sick to my stomach. I don't care if someone thinks they are easy, they're tedious hoops to jump through. And don't get me started on these half hour/hour long missions that require friends/clan mates and stupid constraints that could be destroyed by as something as simple as a host migration or "Oopsie".

I would be far more willing to drop spare money into the game just to avoid all this nightwave crap and just buy the Umbra Forma so I can get back to having fun.

Couldn't agree more; I don't like being railroaded, that's not been the case to Warframe up to this point. Right now I just feel like I'm jumping through hoops when I log in instead of following my own path. I think Nightwave could work, but right now I find it more tiresome than it is rewarding.

  5. Not sure if it's an issue with Lambeo or all MOAs but Stasis Field never activates when equipped alongside Tractor Beam.

I thought that they were good combo for the Vallis until I tried it, no bubble ever. Take Tractor Beam off, it works! Tractor Beam functions normally, just no Stasis Field.

    Anyone noticed anything similar?

what my limit energy is 150, that i need to use a capacity that is 145 energy, and that i'm at 140... wait, i'll go vacuum this energy or... ho wait, i can't...

so i'm stuck without the ability the use my fourth, with a orb that i can't vacuum. i can only accept this kind of ideas if they are on a toggle. me, i will always want to absorb the orbs. they drop regularly enough, this isn't a problem.

If you have a an ability that you can only cast at your max energy you've got problems. Either way you could mod for more capacity, or efficiency. You can't do anything about wasting an orb because Vacuum doesn't care.

  7. I never really understood why anybody wouldn't want Vacuum; but AGGP described his issue recently, which was that it causes you to waste Energy Orbs. Only one energy off your cap? Vacuum waste a whole orb.

Now that isn't technically an issue with Vacuum, and an easy change would be to make orbs only consumable for the entire amount. Which if you think about it doesn't really hurt anything, if you're next to death you'll need a whole health orb, if you're low on energy you've got room for a whole orb.

  8. Now this might be entirely subjective, but since Fortuna landed, I'm sure something has changed. Either Corpus damage has been buffed, or something has either gone wrong with armour damage reduction or specifically with Valkyr.

I basically main my Valk, she's easily the most tanky frame before powers get involved (imo), and thinking about that, probably the only frame that relies on a large amount of base armour. Lately I've been getting downed pretty easily by what I would have previously considered to be weak enemies, i.e. less than level 100. I'm talking level 40-50 downing me quickly. At 1.5k armour and 740hp that just shouldn't be happening, that's 83% damage reduction, 4514ehp!

That's why I think something has changed in the armour calculations. Since other tank frames don't rely on base armour it's not as noticeable (Nidus/Inaros relying on large health pools and regeneration or Rhino/Nezha having damage mitigating powers for example).

Now I can't think of a way to prove or test it, it's just something noticeable through play. I'm a Warcry Valk, and I primarily use Hysteria as an oh S#&$ button; going into rage-kitty mode to save my bacon and heal up. Lately I've been on my back in Corpus missions, or around Orb Vallis before I can react. I just do not know what is going on. Maybe it's just a case that Corpus damage has had an adjustment, and since they tend to deal a lot of Puncture I'm feeling the effect (Tenno armour is Ferrite and vulnerable after all)?

    Anybody else feel this way?
