If youre on PC then this probably isnt going to bother you as much due too your higher spawn rates creating higher drop rates but here on console, Its so common when i play survival missions that people quit because reactant absolutely refuses to drop and forces everyone to be in 1 room. People have their time wasted and no 1 is happy This is objectively WORSE than having just 1 player go afk, for the reason that its affecting newer players the most! Which normally is a big No No, they are the last players whos experience you want ruin! Im older and it ruins my experience having to tell everyone "No you guys cant run around and have fun, you must play this just like a defense mission and stay in one room! Do it now!!!" Like im their dad putting them in timeout. And yes i said like a defense mission or mobile defense. The beauty of Survival is you used to be able to just run around and get kills, you'd only camp when you plan to go into extremely dangerous levels. Now you gotta camp level 1 and let a nuke frame take over while you sit there playing with your thumbs. Which stands out more on console with less spawns Remove it, reduce the pickups to 1, or just let people be afk. I really dont mind afk players this much. Reactant is sucking the fun out of the game. Let survival become Survival again
  2. I keep forgetting Caliban exist and he's the only warframe i have ever forgotten about. He feels like a weaker version of Nekros using summons to strengthen his defenses. If he used his summons for Offense instead of being a repeat of Nekros using summons for Defense i might have cared but since he doesnt like, i cant really like him enough to care for a rework, id honestly rather him stay forgotten. He doesnt do anything. Sentient warframe title belongs to Revenant, he's king. His 4th ability only thing i like the look of. Id rather just make it some sort of Special Augment for Revenant and then kill off Caliban. Throw him into the abyss, no rework, just de-work
  3. This i liked all of this. I know we just got a melee warframe but i want this too. I enjoy fighting with melee weapons but using the same one can get real borimg after a while. A frame that can switch it up would be most pleasing! Especially one with chains, id 100% be making a Ghost rider loadout if they added that. Duo weilding chains or wips, mmmm
  4. (Im just throwing this idea out there for anyone to take it, whether that be by the off chance a member from DE sees it or just a community warframe artist wants to tackle it!) (From Prototype 2) Im a big fan of an old game called Prototype 2 and 1 of the things i loved is how he could shape his hands and arms into weapons, and for a long time i hope'd DE would add such weapons like it to the game that would become your frames hand. The Bubonico came close but if you observe the weapon fully youll notice that its just mounted on the back of the frames hand an arm rather than engulfing it. So the idea of a Nidus deluxe skin without hands came to mind. Imagine more so tendrils moving around where the hands would be, or a sticky like sinew reaching for something to latch onto. It would be designed in such a way to where no matter what weapon your holding, its as if its become part of Nidus! The cool part about is that its sort of the way the infested is able to work anyway when it takes over things like corpus robots. He could even get some signature weapon skins where the material of the skin matches his skin to make the blend even better
  5. Just hear me out Diversified Denial is a mod for a robotic dog that basically turns your dog into 3 puppies. Now dont get me wrong, puppies are cute! I just like dogs. So this mod would basically make your robo doggo become 3 seperate dogs except they will be full sized. Maybe even create a Robotic howl as it does so. Like if you want it, i just wanted to see if im alone in wanting a pack of doggos as opposed to a pack of puppies
  6. Single target* it only hits 1. If you aim it at the ground might be a 5% chance another enemy will always be close enough to get hit by it? And you stop using trash first abilities when you get good builds and no longer struggle with level 50 enemies cause you end up having so much energy and enemies start becoming so deadly that these abilities become a complete waste of development time. Kullervo's first ability is a more modern example of DE's mindset that i dont think any player is currently hating on. Its effective, not too op, and stays useful no matter what level of content youre in or how good your build is. Just cause it exist on a good warframe doesnt mean the ability is good, nor does it mean it should exist. If its bad and no one really likes it, throw it out. I think DE's more modern thought process is a bit more what id expect from professional game developers. Its a thing of the past, if warframe split itself into 1 game where the whole kit is useful, and another were half the kit is barely doing anything. Like is it really hard to figure out which would do better and why its doing better???
  7. I cant speak on everyone, but id say i have pretty good build with frost. Im able to survive with him with ease any level and i like play frost. Im a frost main and have a bias towards ice abilities in all video games hence my username. While frost is good, he's only good for 2 abilities. While i think this is find for some players, i dont think it should really be a surprise on why people wouldnt like it. I mean if you only wanted 2 abilities to be used while playing a game, why make 3 others? Look at Nehza I mean DE has made other frames like Nehza who has a full kit of fun or useful abilities. - His passive adds a nice boost to mobility (fun) and a slightly bigger boost to it likely would only result to players who love him loving him more. - His 1st ability adds mobility AND really good cc that can cover a pretty large area as long as your moving and have 25 energy (thats pretty impactful). - 2nd ability basically increases your damage output by quite a bit with how easily it hits multiple enemies (very useful) - 3rd ability i shouldnt have to say why its good - 4th ability adds some harder cc in a radius thats a bit quicker than his 1 which can be useful if enemies ignore a heat proc and you need to breathe (this ability is a little on the unnecessary side granted how easy it is to survive with him but meh, theres moments) Meanwhile Frost - Has a passive thats a 20% chance to freeze an enemy. Which i mean, how many times is anybody standing still enough to let any enemy that is a threat hit them? 0/10 for usefulness. Fun is subjective but on average, no one finds an ability that they barely ever gets to activate in warframe all that fun. Maybe in other games but here? 1/10 for fun. I mean try to say this out loud "why would a player want a passive thats always useful verses one that never activates?" The logic doesnt even make sense. Games did it in the past out of laziness, and got away with it cause the game is still fun and playable. Its not because its an actual good idea. As adding a useful passive will obviously be more fun to the average player. Ask anyone - 1st ability is bad. The only thing people say when i discuss this ability is either A.) You can use it to pop Snow Globes! I find this silly because all it says is you have a whole ability slot thats only useful for being a secondary function for an actual good ability 😂. If i was a dev, i could see my boss straight facing me trying to use that as an excuse for not putting in effort to make the ability useful on its own as well. "I hired you because i thought u were a professional designer or atleast wanted to be one. Clearly you dont..." B.) Its good with an augment! If an augment has to be mandatory, for the same purposes DE removed ability mods because they forced less build customization, so does the augment need to be removed and added to the frames kit. 2nd Ability is redundant With a good frost build (that you should know of granted what youve said so far), theres is never a need to slow enemies that are already frozen. It's kinda stupid. The damage is pitiful, ult does more. The only thing that it has going for it is multiple cold procs which can get some slight use from crit damage buff. Thats it So half of Frost kit is outdated and unuseful. If DE was to relasese a frame like him today in comparison to what theyve released in these past couple years id question if they were drunk or something. I have my gripes about a lot of their recent releases (except kullervo and now xaku) but none would compare if they made 3/5 abilities that useless
  8. Equivalance of saying "How do you deal no damage? You have an mk1 braton dealing 10 dps? Thats damage" is all you just said to me, slight exaggeration if not obvious Also realizing how it was a good call not to take frames signature or best abilities for helminth, makes me want to play the frame 5 times less. Crazy. But yea to OP i am down with buffs to his shadow form. Anything that can make it feel impactful
  9. Kinda with you here but his shadow form is a bit too underwhelming to me for the constant hoop you have to go through just to get it up. Survivalbility stats is kind of annoying too in shadow form. He goes from low stats to mid... his damage feels mid... cc is difficult to use to protect him as you need to use it from multiple directions. Nothing stands out really
  10. All i read from this was As issue, and how to fix that is simple enough But yeah, they do somthing about the bouncing and ill play it again. I used to love call of duty until Call of Duty Advanced Warframe for almost the same reasons. Then we gotta talk about balancing weapons and frames. I think DE is so used to not balancing things HEAVILY that pvp balancing is foreign to them. Back when they were first trying to balance it, it was all good but then it went off the rails fast as they quickly tried to just make everything available in the gamemode. Went from every weapon taking a minute to down a player to getting 1 shot by a guy with a hammer. Months with 0 change to that, and it actually getting worse. Just remembered that once upon a time my lantron was hardest hitting weapon in that game.
  11. Biggest reason why i stopped playing pvp. I get so bored chasing after some players who understand how to use it right. I never have i ever played a pvp game where it takes 100 seconds to down a player in a fight. Id only play pvp again if they add stamina back to that gamemode, for jumping and rolling, all quick movements. 2 bullet jumps, out of stamia. 3 rolls, out of stamina. Stamina bar refills at a rate of 1 roll per 3 seconds. Id change the way energy works too. Some warframes are a big deal when they have energy, while others are laughable.

There are so many icons that I cannot see mid fight if my Arcane Blade Charger has activated, id need to stop the fight and carefully look through each icon until I see it, EVERYTIME it goes up (12 seconds) and that gets annoying in a 30 minute+ steel path survival. As the game grows this cluster of buffs gets absolutely RIDCULOUS!!! It's worse because sometimes it won't activate so I'm sometimes using my melee weapon for nothing, or I stop fighting and the buff has only 3 seconds left because I missed the other 9 seconds when I was fighting. It's infuriating... Edited Solution Based on Previous Feedback For buffs that are conditional and require you to look for the icon to know that its active and then proceed to make use of it, allow these to make the warframe or weapon glow. Note that this only applies to weapons where you actually need to search for the icon. So, effects that are sort of guaranteed like the Arcane Dexterity variants, or effects that you don't even need to know are up like Arcane Grace will remain unchanged. Arcane blade charge is the only arcane I have this sort of difficulty with where I kill a load of enemies and sometimes it's still not active, so I am wasting time melee attacking with no buff. I wouldn't be surprised if no one uses the Arcane for this reason.
