  1. i'm kind of frustrated that they know there is alot of problems going on with the game but they wait until a huge update to give us these fixes.

    they talked about how random it is to get stances and them wanting to make it less rng and that the changes are coming soon but nothing changed and that was like 3-4 dev stream ago. same for streamlining the fusion process, their minds are in the right place but they sure take their sweet time to make these simple changes.

    i feel like they actively want me to stop playing their game until the next big update comes out, free 2 play games should be about wanting to keep us interested and invested in the game but i don't get that vibe from this game anymore.

    i'm saying i'm willing to pay for it so they have more incentive to do it. but you are right, if it was free it would be awesome.

    i'm okey to pay for cosmetics tho, even if the work is already done for it and it's doesn't take much effort on the artist side of things.

    so i've been thinking about how cool it would be if we had the option to change our warframe skins with enemy skins on our own client so we could appear different in our own game but other teammates won't see the changes?

    for example, i've been wanting to have an scropion skin for my valkyr for some time and don't mind having a generic new loka operetor skin for my excalibur and etc etc ...

    a few thing to note:

    1- these are client side only, your friend, teammates, dojo buddies or random people wont see you wearing these skin swaps. this will just only be shown to you and you only.

    2- it's support de for the cool work they have done without requiring alot of work, the models and textures are already built and are in-game, they just need to write some code that let us change our skins.

    3- you can't use infested and robotic models for the obvious reasons and the bosses will be decided depending on their form and model size. ie, captain vor and alad v are okey but lephantis is very much not!

    4- visual bugs and glitches may happen in some cases but i'm okey with any restrictions they want to put in place, for example we can't color these because that would require extra work. or we can't use certain idle animations because of the clipping issues.

    5- the pricing model will be completely on de's hand and the can choice how much they want to price these skins.

    6- they can do a test run and release 5-6 skins and see how people response and if it was popular then they can make more of these available.

     

    sry if i had grammer errors, i'm not a native english speaker and pretty much still learning it.

  4. they should make a ui checklist kind of thing that's shows you which one of these mods you have found already, something like how they show you the sortie reward you got from the daily mission.

     

    or even make a separate tab in the mods menu for event mods so we could easily see what we have already.

     

    i know consoles don't have this event yet but i'm not looking forward to checking which of these 20 mods i have and which ones i want to go farm for.

  5. i don't really care about you ignoring people's opinion about carrier and vacuum, most people want that ability on every companion and the stats show's that, so why don't you give them that option?

    i don't feel like giving more feedback when you just gonna ignore what i have to say.

  6. the only time i use the night form is when my carrier's health is really low and enemies don't seem to drop health orbs anymore, and the only ability that i use from the day form is the 4th.

    quantity over quality i guess, this frame comes with 7 powers and only one of them is useful (imo).

    like the day form looks tho, nice design, so props to the artist that made her model.

  7. i just have 1 installed from the quest and i use rush on it, wont be bothering with buying or grinding for more tho. there is just not enough incentive for me to forma my frames 2 more times and lock myself out of different build just to get this on there.

     

    if they were serious about this thing they should have unlocked it for every one and made it so these mods doesn't eat your build points, because i don't see myself using them more than i did before.

  8. i think they should: 

    1- remove the fov changes when jumping or melee-ing,

    2- remove the narrower (than your desired fov option) fov in liset and relays,

    3- remove the fov increase on mesa's 4th and volt's speed because alot of people don't like that,

    4- and increase the maximum fov you can get with the in-game option, because as a melee only player i like to see more of the map and the maximum fov is not enough for right now imo, the only reason this narrow fov can be justified is because this game has a pvp mode (which alot of people never play) and they can restrict the fov in the pvp mode to not go as high.

  9. I have had several friends I have played with in traditional mmo's who have tried WF and quit. They always say the same. The very close field of view makes them feel ill even with FOV setting at full distance.

     

    Can this be increased in the future a little bit?

     

    I am sure if they stuck with it, they would get used to it like I did, but first impressions, etc.

    i feel the same, even tho i play on console i sit very closely to my tv and i would appreciate ability to get a wider fov.

    i think one of the reason they haven't done that already is volt's speed, i think they should remove the wider fov on that ability, alot of volt players don't like it anyway and by removing it they can give us wider fov in general.

    also i would like if they wouldn't make the fov go back to normal when you are in liset or relays, i hate moving around liset with that narrow fov. 

    also a fov value in the right of the slider would be a really cool thing to have, i don't know why they decided to not show what fov we are already on.

     

    i remember when de released that horrible darkness 2 game with 45 fov on pc and consoles and all the backlash they received from it, they were arrogant and it took them a long time to finally fix the thing and add a fov slider, warframe has it and it's really cool but it doesn't go as much wide as it should imo.

  10. as someone who always plays the game completely muted and listens to podcasts or music while playing i like to have an option to remove the lotus and ordis window on the screen, it's frustrating when i'm playing the game and seeing that big window with lotus talking to me all the time, i don't listen to it and i like the option to not see it. 

    i play this game for the gameplay and i don't like to be bothered when playing, having the option to remove unnecessary clutter would be great.

  11. Doesn't work it just redownloads the full 17 gigs

    go to download section, hover on the warframe update, stop the downloading process and then remove the update. restart your system and let it do it's thing to start downloading. it will take awhile when it says preparing to download, it has to verify how much of the 17 gig update you already have (about 14 gb or so is already on there) on your system and that takes time.

  12. 1- excalibur umbra:

    make it an skin, have the option to remove the ugly scarf and change gold colors, then i'll be interested in it. as of now the only interesting thing about it is the grey color palette and the helmet which looks good.

     

    2- player interactions:

    add auction house so i'm not forced to talk to greedy people who want to over price everything.

     

    3- companions and vacuum:

    make vacuum a utility mod for warframes and make a new ability for carrier, in addition let people equip vacuum on their companion if they don't want to sacrifice an slot on their frames, classic win win situation and everybody will be happy.

     

    4- volt rework

    shock: make it a toggle like exalted blade and have it scale from your (primary, secondary or melee) weapons, having a mage like character that does pure electric damage out of his hands and doesn't use any weapon would be really cool, add new animations for casting shock and making him look awesome, he could even have a unique stance with combos to go with it (shock will be cast by hitting the melee button while the toggle is on)

     

    overload: should stun enemies in a wide range and deals damage that scales with enemy level, 4 second of overload should kill every enemy close to volt and deal significant damage to other enemies.

  13. i'll be interested in this frame if they completely remove to ability to equip weapons for him/it, melee button makes him punch things and you can build his hand/melee thing with melee mods, he shouldn't have to enable a toggle/drain to be able to punch or press a button to do a canned animation. make him the ultimate melee frame that doesn't need any weapons other than his hands.
