  1. My Orbiter left Earth's orbit.

Was in my Orbiter, went to Railjack via the new console in front of spoiler room, used its Arsenal, switched to Archwing loadout, changed my heavy weapon and my Archwing weapons, exited the Arsenal and was back in the Orbiter, not the Railjack. Went to the Decoration room and looked out the window.

Small, non-gameplay affecting bug, but still wanted to make sure it can get a fix eventually. (Don't know how many times you can repeat this process to get farther away from Earth).

  2. The Deluxe Skin is obviously inspired by Ancient Greek archers, not to mention ARTEMIS, for which her exalted bow is named.

Here is a statue of Artemis:

You can see she has a sash of some sort pulled across the chest, something like this was likely translated into the asymmetrical blue part of the Deluxe skin on her chest. The cloth design in general on the skin is also highly reminiscent of this Artemis portrayal.

Here is a Trojan Archer (Or at least that's what most of the sources say it is):

    the-reproduction-of-the-and-_34_aphaia-t

You can see the quiver on the hip/thigh much like the Ivara Deluxe skin.

The only thing I can't explain completely is her head. To me, its clear that the back of the head is supposed to resemble the short, tied back hair that Artemis is usually portrayed with, however I do not understand the metallic spikes, which does seem a little more Khora to me. I also wish more of the legs were the same color, I think that would alleviate a lot of the Equinox comparisons. Anyways, I'm not a historian, but it screamed Artemis to me the moment I saw it on stream. If there are any other cultural influences on the design I'd be interested to know.

OORRRRR instead of just making them usable with 1 gimmicky (if effective) mod, how about buffing them so any of them could be built for crit, status, or both? Because right now, I don't think any dual daggers are viable for any of those. Which makes them super weak and poorly scaling. That's what needs to change (and maybe stances, been so long I don't even remember the last time I used em and could judge the stances).

I mean yeah, an overall buff to Dual Daggers would be great, like what they did with Akbronco Prime and Glaive Prime. Who knows how long that might take though, and if the numbers just aren't there, then Covert Lethality's instant kill would still be more fun as a stealthy/ninja/rogue dagger user option, and thus the buffs would arguably be a waste of DE's time.

Also, the stances are not that great, Gnashing Payara seems to have a good Slash proc combo (400% dmg with 2 strikes on the guranteed slash proc) but the combo is pretty hard to pull off for how little it actually does in reality. I find Spinning Needle's simple Right-click combo to be more effective.

Or instead of nerfing single daggers to make your preferred weapon type more fun they could simply make CL work with both instead of multiple nonsensical changes that still result in an overall nerf. Having more than one of something does not make it plain better than not having more than one.

I agree, allowing Covert Lethality for both would be the simplest change, but DE doesn't seem to be too keen on the idea since they seem to have no intention on implementing this. Also, I suppose I should have added that this provides incentive for using the dual wield mode.

  5. I have a beautiful pair of Fang Primes that have just been sitting in my arsenal for at least the past 2 years. Dual Daggers are one of, if not the weakest melee weapon classes in the game. They have low damage, their stances are meh, and their attack speed is average. If you want to run with daggers, you're essentially forced to use a single dagger as they work with Covert Lethality.

One possible solution, I think, is to change Covert Lethality to be a Dual Daggers mod, then make Daggers be compatible with the Secondary-Melee dual wield stance. To compensate for the loss of Covert Lethality for Daggers, I think the special charge attack when dual wielding with a sidearm should cause an automatic finisher, and if its perfectly charged it should either perform an outright kill or maybe just 10x damage as finisher damage (or something I didn't think through about the numbers, these are just an example.) This also has the potential to provide an incentive for using the Secondary-Melee dual wield stance.

For instance, you're in sortie 3, theres a level 100 Heavy Gunner, you shotgun them with your Euphona to weaken them, then the dagger finishes the last of their health.

Please refute me if you think Dual Daggers are Sortie viable (preferably without some top/god tier Riven mod), and if you have other ideas or arguments against this I would be interested in hearing them.

  6. When you go about making new frames/reworking old ones, do you try to keep all Warframes equally viable, atleast in some niche, or do you want the starter frames to be "replaced" by a higher tier frame at some point? For example, is a frame that is acquired late in the game like Octavia supposed to be better in more areas compared to a frame like Mag? Or are all frames supposed to be viable in some way. By viable I mean a frame's ability to have comparable survivability or DPS or CC in a Sortie/Raid level mission.

  7. I feel like this is supposed to be some kind of high level abstract satire on people complaining about the costs of Hema. I have almost 6k Control Modules (with my ~700 hours of playtime), and there seems to be a nitain alert or two every time I'm online (I don't know the exact rates that they appear). I guess I understand your complaint about the inconsistency of helm costs between new frames and old frames. There's not really any justification for that except that its new, but its not like that generates plat sales since you can't buy nitain extract. In my opinion this is a minor problem with DE's increasing resource costs and your efforts of complaining could be better put elsewhere

I always wondered this myself. I bought the paladine pack just for the jat kitag skin, I never use rhino so that skin is just collecting space dust on my acc as I'm flying all around the solar system.

Thats precisely the reason they bundle items exclusively. Its the same reason you can't buy Prime Accessories without also getting boosters/plat/profile pictures and such: They provide a reason to charge a higher price. It technically raises the value of the bundle so that they can charge more, and I guess using this method they make more money off of a few big money spenders than they would off of 80% of the community purchasing individual items for 75p or whatever.

I'm not saying its totally wrong though, sometimes you have to do what you need to do in order to make/sustain a F2P game

  9. I just want to add that I play on Gamepad and pressing the X button reloads my weapon but if you press it at the last second it will choose "Extract" for your option, and being locked out for trying to reload would really suck. Though, with the current direction that Steve wants for improved gamepad support this could very easily go away.

Additionally, wouldn't the issue still exist even with being locked out after making your decision? Wouldn't you communicate with your squad and see if all 4 people wanted to continue before selecting "Continue"? If this is the case, wouldn't trolls lie about wanting to continue and then wait for the rest of the party to make their one-time choice before they choose to extract? (and imagine if everyone was suspicious of the other 3 people being trolls, it would be a Mexican standoff)

So, does this mean you guys are aware of the problem and are working on a solution? Or is this somehow working as intended and we just haven't figured something out yet?

I think if this was working as intended he would have also moved the threads to General Discussion. The fact that everyone seems to be getting stuck at different parts for different "reasons" also seems to suggest that this is a bug

  11. My Kavat has glowing green eyes and stripes on its tail that glow, however those colors cannot be changed, it would be nice to be able to have an "Energy" color option to change those colors. Though, I can understand if this is too much to ask for considering the current color palettes all involve fur, also, having unchangeable energy colors provides additional reasons to farm/breed Kavats.

  12. Most games have a Screen Calibration screen when adjusting brightness so that people with different monitor settings can view the game as it was meant to be viewed. For example, it would be nice to have a Screen Calibration button in the Display menu that took you to a separate screen that has 3 images, and you would adjust your brightness so that the first image is invisible, the second image is barely visible, and the third image is fully visible

  13. 1) There will be always one dominant meta. If it not would be damage mods you would qq about other mods being the meta.

    2) DE needs money and RNG, the market (breaking RNG wall with platin) and player trading (breaking RNG wall with platin) is the motor for that

    3) Trivialize low-end content...? That´s exactly what should be happening if you raise your power level... / We´re also fighting vs loads and loads of enemies so AOE abilities are a must. Your argument of deep/engaging gameplay missing examples to be taken serious.

    4) I agree a bit here though i don´t share your opinion. The enemy AI in this game is just a mess. You also didn´t wrote why enemy Auras are bad with no argument.

    5) No examples which abilities you mean? Ok.

    Basically this

For 1, without damage, crit, and multishot mods taking up 70% of your mod slots, everyone would just use Reload speed, Mag size, Fire Rate, Ammo Mutation and Status Chance, and these would be your new mandatory mods (mainly because there's nothing else to use).

However for 2 I kind of like the idea with the normal warframes using a form of "tokens" so that killing Sargus Ruk would give an item like "Sargus Ruk's research Data" or something and in the codex it could have a description of what he's researching or why he's so obsessed with fire and have some Grineer lore tied in.

    Also, cooldowns suck.

  14.

I'm not very good with combining names but I feel like old mythologies are something that Warframe tries to rely on for inspiration, so I hope the final name stays true to that.

so basically this creature is some form of cat/bird/lizard hybrid (cat head/body, feather tail, scales). Thinking along those lines theres:

The eqyptian Hieracosphinx: had the body of a lion and the face of a hawk.

The eqyptian Chimera: had the head of a lion, body of goat (roughly), and the tail of a snake.

Loosely combining these ideas together we could name them the "Hiermera."

  15. I'm just sad there's no way for me to get Excalibur Prime, I'm stuck with plain Excalibur which makes me feel like a new player in a starter frame when I play as him. I know its pretty much just cosmetic, and I guess I'm not saying that Excalibur Prime should be non-exclusive, rather I wish there was some other form of Excalibur that I could work for by playing difficult missions or something, like Dragon Excalibur or something.

  16. In the last Devstream, one of the DE people, I can't remember who, said the new melee air dash is like pushing off of a surface. Eventually the conversation led to Wire Fu and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon...

There are a lot of things that are unrealistic about this game, but I just can't stand Wire Fu. Getting momentum just by pushing off air, that should be like exclusively a Zephyr ability. I absolutely despise the idea of pushing off against nothing to gain momentum.

I know this melee thing is seriously helpful and I want it in the game, but could you please incorporate void energy or the warframe's power elements or jump jet feet to give them momentum. Atleast could you add like a particle affect that looks like they are actually pushing off of something and not just the air?

I know I'm a space ninja with mystical powers fighting nanobots that create bodies the size of a 3 story building, but wire fu just doesn't "feel" right to me. Anyone else feel the same?
