  1. Unless someone can tell me something I don't know of a way to know early that a person has Cross Save and 2FA enabled? If so, please tell me. I'm getting a massive amount of traders, 75% straight up liars who after asked and told about it will say they have it enabled when they do not. They don't believe me and waste my time "trying". The "trying" involves talking, inviting, opening up trade, picking the item and THEN the Cross Save mismatch error comes up. Do we really need to wait that long? We need SOMETHING to immediately identify Cross Play enabled players. It must be much earlier. In their profile, a cross play symbol in chat... SOMETHING. ALSO, how about a notification or PSA... Something telling players IN ADVANCE, because many just don't believe it! My 1.5 cents on the matter...
  2. I'm starting to suspect these "Network Connection Errors" are not always connection errors. I wonder what kind of "connection error" does all these things: Disconnect your controllers from the entire console, so you cannot just go to the dashboard but are forced to turn off the console completely??? The game is running still, you just cannot respond? If it wasn't connecting, why are enemies spawning and attacking me? Seems to happen after a very short inactivity - like an afk punishment??? A connection error should freeze the whole game. There shouldn't be new enemies spawning, sounds, animations, your squad still active and you see their activity. I just am not convinced this is really a connection error. It also does not happen in any other game. Maybe someone has an plausible explanation?
  3. Jeez, it's getting a bit complicated. I just remembered I have significant Conclave progression on my old PC account, whereas on my newer PSN account, I didn't even touch Conclave. Makes me have to think a bit on this one...
  4. Ok, first of all great topic! I do have a question, though. My PC account is from 2013, just after Warframe came out. Im MR 24, and progressed up to Fortuna, maxed their Syndicates and Ventkids. On PS4, I'm MR 16, but have done every quest except Ventkids. I've only been playing a couple years on PSN. So, I am wondering, statwise, will merging mean my 2013 starting point will vanish if I choose PS4 as my primary? Even if I lose the secondary progress, I'd at least like it to be on record that I've been playing since 2013!
  5. I appreciate your input, but I dont think you clearly read what I wrote. One of the things I said was "If I am in a room, by myself, and look at the menu - where did this random enemy come from all of a sudden, to attack me. Please put at least 5 seconds on these activities - and treat real AFK like that - like someone standing at the start while the mission is almost over. " So that obviously is not asking that enemies "declare a truce and politily hang out". That means give us reasonable time, and respect the fact that we ARE in an area cleared of enemies. The enemies will just appear beside us, attacking or Eximus using abiities on us, giving us barely enough time to just look at the menu. I also said "5 seconds", so this comment was a bit off from what I said. Im not echoing some other people's comments, this is completely original, please dont use it to counter what youve heard from others. This is apparent more on Hydron because its a closed map. I would say that tileset, as its used on Saturn also. And it seems to be the Grineer Eximus (especially the Arson Eximus) more than others, just ignoring Silence and popping off like that. I am very far in the game. This is not about my survivability. I can survive just fine - it an observance of behavior. Im not worried about getting killed, its more of an annoyance and wonky behavior thats irritating.
  6. I don't know how long this enemy behavior has been going on, but its annoying. I'm proceeding forward in a mission, killing enemies ahead of me. I have killed the enemies BEHIND ME, cleared the previous area (this is not a spawning mission like Survival). All the sudden from the room I have cleared, I get hit by shots - I see enemies coming from where I have cleared, just so there can be enemies behind me, attacking? It makes no sense! Where are they coming from? I killed everything and the map was clear??? Why is there all kinds of enemies coming from that way? I'm dealing with enemies ahead of me, now Ive got to defend against these suddenly appearing enemies coming from an area I just cleared too? Why cant they spawn somewhere that makes sense and just run behind me??? In the same vein, there are some maps where if your in a certain spot, the enemies seem to spawn forever. There's a Corpus map like that, where you can take an elevator and walk around, or jump across some structures at the top, come down to a wide door, that's commonly locked (you can open by interacting). To the right is the corridor that you could have optionally used by getting into an earlier elevator or jumped down from a room in the middle. Right at that corner, if you stay back a bit, the enemies will spawn forever. I usually kill some and open the door to keep going, then they will stop - but if you just hang there the enemies will just keep on spawning right there.
  7. I have Silence subsumed on Mesa, and I've noticed, in a small space like Hydron (where I spend a lot of time upgrading weapons) that Eximus, particularly irritating being the Arson Eximus, will fire off their ability within the disance of my ability. The radius is 35m, so say Im just outside of the entrance where the target is dropped down, and the Eximus is inside - I'll see his ability - surely that is way smaller that 35 meters??? Another time it commonly happens is if I am at top, at the corner overlooking the downstairs part, or I am running and jump up there - from the other corner, where the stairs are, or to the left of the target, down the stairs by the hallway, the Arson Eximus will fire off its ability - there's no way that is beyond 35 meters!!! It seems like the game is "cheating" and firing off abilities due to LoS, or if I cant see it, it will fire off! At closer range, Ive had Eximus - the Arson one again, for example, fire off abilities BEHIND MY BACK - in other words, they are RIGHT THERE, in melee range, but off screen. I get hit with the ability, and turn around, they are right there - with my Silence ON! I dont know if this is common, but if so I hope DE can look into it. On another note - Eximus are firing off abilities as they spawn in. There is no delay? Eximus Osprey, will just SPAM their ability over and over again. So many times I ran into these and I'm getting my shots at the same time dancing the coocooracha because its just firing off its little aura under me over and over - it can shoot too, can it not? It wasnt enough to give it overguard, so we have to stand there and concentrate fire on it, while in room full of enemies are shooting at you, chipping you down - its also able to fire of a million blobs of energy zap under you at the same time??? Can we get some time to quickly look at the menu? Why is there no time to be determined as AFK? AFK is not looking at the menu real quick. AFK is not helping a downed teamate. AFK is not opening the gear wheel. AFK is not hacking or other ambient activities that make you stop and do it, instead of engaging in active battle. Yet you do any of these and the game tries to kill you. Eximus really make this hard, as you do any of those things and you've got an energy drain aura, or other ability, spamming the heck out of you, trying to kill your Warframe! All Im asking for is some balance and sense here. If I am in a room, by myself, and look at the menu - where did this random enemy come from all of a sudden, to attack me. Please put at least 5 seconds on these activities - and treat real AFK like that - like someone standing at the start while the mission is almost over.
  8. Through my several run-throughs, I picked up points one time (in one game) the other times I didn't (on purpose). On other occasions I have played, it didn't matter if I picked up or not, the Spectors would at some point turn in points.
  9. This is why I used the term "true 20%" - because if you say 20%, your saying 1 in 5 - are you not? Now you brought up a good point - one in five "per attempt" or one in five "per 100% sets of tries"? If we are talking per attempt, where each time you fight the Sister, your odds are reset and the game forgets your earlier failed attempts - is that really 20% chance at getting the drop? If you have tried more than 5 times and have not received the drop - can that be called 20%. If you put that into an equation, it surely doesn't equal 20%, so how can that be called 20%. Here's my attempt at an equation of such: (100.00 / 5.00) ≠ (100.00 / 28.00) On both sides of the equation, the divisors (5.00 and 28.00) are the attempts at getting the drop. 100 is the dividend, obviously - the total percentage the odds are based on. So the question is - how is 5 attempts and 28 attempts both 20 percent? I dont see why people argue that 20% can be any number of attempts - because it's 20% per run. Is that really 20%?
  10. After wearing my hands and my patience farming a fire based Sister... Too many times to count, I put on my tinfoil muffhat on and started thinking about these odds... Im not anywhere mathmatical, so please be aware if you choose to start down that road. Its just my thought in the subject. I call it a fallacy because its not a "true" 20%, imho. 20% is supposed to equate to one in five. But, often when some entity states a percentage, they are not stating the truth of what it really means (or should mean). In this case, 20% isnt a true 20% but a re-occuring odd that resents and forgets after each attempt. The way a "pure" 20% shoukd work is 1 out of 5 attempts should give the prize. The odds are supposed to have come from calculating real world cases, until a reliable odd can be determined and announced. A true 20% could work like this - 5 dice with ascending amount if sudes with a winning symbol. Each die has one more, until the last, which has wins on all sides! You get one cast per die. The 20% is spread among the dies, not "per die", where your real odds are -80%! At the end, you win, because otherwise its not 20% anymore. By comparison , what we are being told is 20% is actually -80%, with infinite chances to lose. We never get past that first die, and you can keep throwing it an infinite amount of times, never winning. Thats not 20%, thats GACHA. To call that 20% is deceptive and disingenuous - not that deception is on purpose, quite likely they actually believe its really 20%.
  11. Well, I have to move around to get aim at certain enemies, and also run and get energy and return. There is always some movement. Also, this wasnt an issue a few months ago. Just noticed it today. Spectors just staying on one side, not even trying to cash in points.
  12. Scope of this post, before you reply: So - as you can gather, this is about SOLO PLAY, with Spectors. I KNOW we can play with other players and that will fix this. I am posting this specifically to address playing with Spectors, and do not need discussion on alternate ways to play. If Spectors are now behaving like this, it may need to be addressed (by DE) - workarounds like playing with others instead do not address this concern. So lets please keep the conversation and solutions within the parameters of playing solo with Spectors and the Spector issue (possibility) - thanks! Post specific content: I usually have no issues at the Index, have a couple of frames that I can go there with and do what needs to be done and get out. Its been a few months since Ive been there, but unless this is just a bug, there's something very disheartening going on now. Spectors are not turning in points. They are hanging around me (my Warframe). In the past, I would go in as say, Mesa, and protect from Anyo getting points (especially as today, its a Nightwave mission) and Spectors would pick up and turn in points - rarely would I have to leave the Anyo side, being a defender, killer and point stopper. But now - as much points as I make drop from kills, the Spectors might pick them up - but they do nothing with them! They keep them until the enemy takes them, and then I kill the enemy and they repeat the pointless process! The only way to get points now - seems to for ME to turn them in! I played a couple of times, the first time I noticed not one point. Second time, I had to turn in points and I was the only one! BUT - I lost the NW mission, because as I was turning in points - so was Anyo! I win the mission, but fail NW! Which mean the whole "Protect from Anyo getting points technique is out the window".
  13. Pretty sure I encountered them on Pluto and Neptune too, but I need to confirm. Im doing Sister hunts, so its all Corprus... Blech... Some are not melee, but the run speed is ridiculous.
  14. WRONG: Region Chat is for general discussion of any topic not banned by TOS. Your talking about RECRUITING. Recruiting is where form groups to play Warframe. Q&A is for asking questions. Trade Chat is for buying and selling. Did you turn on your Region Chat in your preferences, because you go Recruiting mixed up with Region! In regards to comparing it to Facebook, yes, Region IS like Facebook, Reddit, Twitch and forums. Its a place that we aee supposed to meet, greet, get to know each other abd shoot the breeze with little content restrictions. But as in those places, it can get corrupted by humans with a preference to what they want discussed.
  15. Im adding my mods, perhaps thats the problem? This this destroys everything - as long as its not bubbled up! It struggles against the bubble. I have other weapons that eat through them in a few shots, but not the Tenet Envoy! Any insight here?
